I'm really surprised there are no replies here. Anyway, I downloaded the player and loved it, until I noticed that the song info doesn't update on the main screen (and in turn, my pebble watch) when it switches to the next song by itself. I'm running Android 5.1.1. I can send you a logcat if you want to check it out. Thanks.
I think that it's the best player on Android. But unknown for a lot of people.
I used almost all audio mods on XDA, I think Stellio's equlaizer is the best.
And i used nearly 15+ music players but this is really cool and quality app.
I was using Sony Music but they sc**wed it's appearence and quality. I think Stellio's flat theme (blurry) is awesome !
Are you the developer of the player ? @doomedez
thanks to all developers of this player .
Absolute best music player when you have your own collection of music (Opus, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, MP3).
I wanted to install the app for my parents but it is no longer in the play store. What happened?
Looks like app was deleted from gplay because of VK integration. It still can be downloaded on developers site and they say it will back to gplay with next major release.
Great music player. Please keep the Vk integration. Thanks for continuing development!
This is probably the most eye-candy music player I've used. Sadly I can't buy the premium right now, but damn I wish I could use my Play Store credits to get it from Stellio site.
@doomedez - how did you designed the app UI? It looks really 'Material 2', which is something I haven't saw in any app other than Google's own.
I'm using an ANS UL40, unrooted, with Nougat 7.1.1, and if I use Stellio's equalizer I get a scratchy background noise. I remember seeing this issue reported previously but can't find the post.
Is there a solution to this distortion problem?
@doomedez
- Crossfade - Smooth transition from one track to another
I think this feature is broken in version 5.1.1 at least the result, wasn't like I expected here is why:
crossfade should kick in while the songs end and the next one starts, but right now only activates if I manually change the song (this should be a separate option, if you want to have 2 diferents settings)
Otherwise it's an awesome app, really liking the theme options
I am having a problem with the crossfade/gapless playback? I have tried version 5.2.4 and 5.3beta and it is not working for me. The next track just starts, not fade or mix with the next song coming in at the end of the previous track.
Hi, after half year of testing of many music player on my car android unit (PX5) i get back to Stellio, it looks and sounds perfect. Now I'm running on payed version and tryed all skins.
Theres few qestions, notes or proposal for modification:
* it is possible to show song position in notification bar (My widget can show it on homescreen from others players. f.ex. Poweramp, but I can not see it on Stelio)
* Is there a way to modify skins? (I would like to have jFrost in black to sits with rest of my apps in car)
* Can you add option to to turn of all EQ related screens and buttons on main screen if EQ is not used? (as my unit has own DSP and general EQ app)
* How can I contribute to language translation? (Slovak)

Hi
I am alao using a px5 car unit. When i start the engine stellio doesn’t resume where it left in music.
Is there a way to fix that?
Thanks
This app is great. I love the cross faded feature - unfortunately, it's impossible to adjust the crossfade length for automatic play or shuffle mode. The feature works too well when performing manual selection ofsongs-but still takes long to switch to the next song. I'd love that cleared. Bottom line, the app is fire! Thanks developers.

Ok so I have tried every music player on the Market and I am just not satisfied, there are ones i like, for example MIUI Music or Poweramp. However each one is missing a key component.
So What i want to do is start a project to make the Best Music Player For Android combining the Best Features and then making them better. I am not a Dev but a great idea thinker when it comes to projects. So what i really need is some devs that want to join into this project. PM Me if you are interested!
Features to Be Included(Hopefully)
Slick UI
Equalizer(like in poweramp)
Lyrics (Like in MIUI music)
Ability to Stream Music
5.1 Dolby Support
Ipod Touch and Honeycomb Like landscape view (http://www.coolgadgetconcept.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/coolest-ipod-touch-2.jpg)
Voice Search
Any other Ideas PM
If you want to develop "the best music player", you would have to add quite a few more features than that. You should check out the features of Rockbox, and add the interface features you want to that. To mention a few:
gapless playback
wide codec support (lossless as well as lossy formats)
crossfeed
crossfade
album artist support
advanced database search
Check the Rockbox features at http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/FeatureComparison
Rockbox for Android is being developed, and the features above, except the database, is already working. But especially the UI still needs some work. But the music playback features should be more important than nice looks, anyway.
i really would like to be able to edit song info from my phone (EX. Artist, Album, Song Name) and be able to use pics from my gallery to use as album covers

I second this.
Use player pro it has all of that
Sent from a guy living in a van down by the river
Some ideas:
Database: Browse music by artist/album/song (the tags supported by all music players) and by genre (only a few android players support the genre tag) and by composer (for classical music and DJ collections, none of the android players currently support the composer tag). Of course by folder too. Not everyone needs all the ID3 tags, so let us toggle them on/off in the settings menu.
Play Queue/on the fly playlist like in WinAmp and PlayerPro.
Swipe screen to move from "now playing" to "play queue" to "music collection," or use a WinAmp-like "now playing" rollup screen.
Optional lyrics/last.fm/shoutcast/etc. plugins, so everyone can add their favorite features without bloating the app. Same for codecs: don't bloat the app with dozens of codecs, but let everyone add the codecs they want and leave out the codecs they don't care about.
A build-your-own widget feature (or widgets as optional plugins so you have a wide choice without overcrowding Android's widget list). Some people want a big 4x5 widget with a large album cover picture, others (like me) want to cram artist/title info and play/back/forward buttons in a small 2x1 widget, some may want to put their entire play queue in a scrolling widget, etc.
And of course an equalizer, with presets as optional plugins.
To cut a long story short: it's impossible to make a perfect one-size-fits-all player. The only way to make the best player possible is to make a minimalist "base app" and then let the user add plugins and customize the app to his/her own taste as much as possible.
crossfade, oh my, crossfade, i actually use some DJ dual player app to get crossfade cus non of the regular ones have it.
Can you include a feature to play a song once and stop after that? Every music player I've seen on the marketplace feels the need to keep going and going through every album unless I turn on repeat or something.
This is what has stopped me from replacing my MP3 player with my Android phone. I love how on my MP3 player, I can play a song and it will stop after the song finishes, or if I select another song to play instead.

I agree, Player Pro is amazing, I installed it a couple weeks ago and it's much better than the stock Player, It is the first music player I have found and liked that finds music on the device storage and sd card. The only thing I kinda wish it had, although it's a cosmetic thing, is that I wish it had a coverflow type landscape.
Another killer feature for a new music app:
Split screen layout of music library, play queue, and player control buttons. This way you can insert songs into the right place of the playqueue by a simple drag'n'drop action, and you have the most important parts of any music app combined in a single screen.
A rough outline of what it could look like (yes, it's a messy cut'n'paste job):

Hello Everyone!
When looking at the way most music players on Android work, I kept on thinking that the method of operation(which is pretty much equal to what you find in the first iPod) was cumbersome! The act of building playlists and changing tracks was, simply put, a pain in the ***!
In order to try something completely different, I started working on a music player that would later be called PlayLine. With PlayLine, I tried to design every aspect of the player to make the interface as fluid and intuitive as possible, all the while allowing the user to create, change and mix playlists with incredible ease.

To truly grasp what PlayLine is capable off, you really need to give it a try! But let me try to describe it as this: Everything is a playlist - and you operate the interface using drag and drop. What this means is that you can pick up tracks, albums, artists or even playlists - and drop them right into the current playlist, which is shown at the top of the screen! Using the advanced gesture controls, you can really get creative with flinging items to achieve even faster playlist creation.
Once you are done creating a playlist (whilst listening to it!) you can save it, and PlayLine will remember your progress in that playlist, so picking up where you left is incredibly easy. Furthermore, you can customize each playlist by adding a background and icon that will be displayed when you are listen to it.
On top of the powerful navigation system, PlayLine also features:
UPnP/DLNA streaming over WiFi
Built in equalizer (option to use external equalizer aswell)
Art downloader that fetches missing album and artist art
ID3 tag editor
Lock screen & headset controls
Sleep timer
PlayLine comes in a full version that features DLNA/UPnP streaming using WiFi, and in a free lite version.
PlayLine (Full Version): Download
PlayLine Lite (Free Version): Download

Nice Player
Very nice concept of a music player, I love the style of a queue to play the music.
A few features i would like to request:
-Headset control: -resume on connect, pause/play on single button press, skip track on double press, previous track for tripple button press
-Mono downmix. I really think this is a useful feature for listening with one ear, the music just sounds better if you are listening with one ear anyway, because you get both channels of the music. I wonder why so few music players have this feature.
-A sleep timer for the player, like in 15 min stop music, I like to go to sleep with music
-A widget for the homescreen and 4.2+ lockscreen
-Ability to disable lockscreen widget
-Ability to rate or mark favorite songs and then add them like in a playlist
-It's not really crucial, but a whit theme would be nice too
The player runs pretty stable, only bug i found, is that the "the" in the artist / album is sorted under the letter T, for example "The Beatles" is sorted under T rather than B.
I really like the player and i hope you continue the great work

Thanks a ton for the great feedback and suggestions
As for the mono downmix feature, Android's built-in audio framework doesn't support changing from stereo to mono, meaning that you would have to do the decoding by yourself. This is probably why most music players don't feature mono downmixing.
The headset controls should already be working - atleast play/pause functionality. I will probably add in the remaining controls in the next update. Same with the "the" bug
Again, please continue to comment / post suggestions!
- gedemis
thanks for the quick reply, the player is pretty awesome, only the lack of a sleep timer keeps me from using it all the time. i can't believe you don't have more downloads.
New Version!
Changelog for version 1.1.3:
- Added a sleep timer to the quicksettings menu accessible via the ‘>‘ button.
- PlayLine will now resume playing if an unplugged headset is plugged in again.
- Reworked headset controls, a single click will pause/play, a double click will change to the next track, and a triple click will go back to the previous track.
- Fixed a bug that was causing album and artist names starting with ‘the‘ to be sorted under ‘T‘.
Hope you guys will enjoy the changes! The update should be rolling out within a couple of hours.
Nice update, I really like the sleeptimer, it works flawless.
The Music resumes only if the headset is plugged in and the player is running. When it was closed, or the system killed it, it doesn't resume, but I guess there's not much you can do.
Headset controls work fine, i find this feature veryuseful.
A few features came to my mind:
-Ability to hide the Playline screen, so it would be easier to browse the library. like swipe up and it would be hidden and if you pick something from the library with long click it would show up on top as an overly or something. if you swipe it down it would be like before, playline and library at the same time.
-A button to delete duplicates from the playline, they are sometimes really annoying
-A setting to set the font size of the library screen and on the album covers in the playline. Also the ability to change the size of the covers in the playline.
This player is getting better withe every update, keep it up, i think the only flaw atm is the lack of a widget. Once again, the UI is really outstandingly easy and intuitive to use.

I'm glad you like it!
You can already change the font of album covers in the playline by going to Settings Also, you can pinch the playline to scale it!
I really like the idea of making the Playline screen an overlay. I will probably start work on that feature next!

Hi, guys! I want to introduce a new concept of music player app made by our team.
There are already a lot of music player apps in the Android app world, yet why did we add one more? The answer is so simple, we just want to make all music listeners’ ears happier including ourselves! I’ve been looking for the best Android music player which has a great sound quality for a long time and tried many apps. Some of them are decent and some are poor, but I couldn’t settle on one. Other team members were in similar situation and it led us to make a new one. Yes, our app contains the features we need and we think they are much useful to other music lovers too.
The first thing we focused on is customization of the sound for each song. All music has its own sound. The sound of each song is unique just like people's fingerprints. For properly conveying what a musician aim to articulate through the song he created, its sound characteristic must be expressed well. Yes, every song deserves to have a sound setting suitable for it! PlankTone Music Player meets this need by providing a Track Sound feature that enables you to individually adjust sound effects of each track. You can apply different Track EQs, Track Tones and Track Gains to each track, album or artist. It helps you to hear the underlying sounds optimized for the songs.
I'll let you know how to use Track Sound with screenshots.

Tone effect we offer is not same with other players’. It entirely changes sound characteristics of PlankTone, which let you enjoy the different sounds with one player. You can choose tones to fit songs or your taste. Now there are just two tones – original and vivid, but we will add new various tones soon.
Sound quality is another advantage. Its sound with Octopus Sound Engine made with a method of professional sound engineering provides the sound closest to the original on mobile. It transmits the vivid and rich tone of instruments and vocals without distortion, and expresses the dynamics fully with an appropriate balance of each frequency band. You can feel the strong dampening of the drums, delicate resonance and enough sustenance of various instruments, and the sweet low and clear high of the voices. The best thing is that our sound designer will continue to enhance PlankTone sound!
We also focused on usability to enhance user experience. We developed more convenient and sleek UI by combining an inventive and unique interface with a friendly surface of existing players. You can directly access to most features and easily move to most pages from the main player. You don't need to wonder where you can configure certain options, what page you're on, and how to move the page you want.

Help with ID3 Tagging
Hi,
I am sure that this isn't the proper place to post this question,
but I need somebody's help!
Please take a look at the attached screenshot,
I accidently tagged Eminem's album with a special character "E".
No matter what music player i use to edit the tag, whether it be Poweramp, Rocket Player, Hi Music, or Shuttle Player, I can't seem to get it to go back! I've tried everything!
I've even tried downloading an ID3 Tag editor from the Play Store...several actualy, but for some reason my phone is set on keeping Eminem's Encore album with a special character E.
I even tried deleting the album, booting into recovery, wiping davlik cache and the cache partition, rebooting my device, and re-adding the album, but I still experience the same issue.
Does anybody know how to fix this? An app or a fix for editing tags with special characters? Once I went special character, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to go back.
Please tell me there is a way.
All suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks World!

Im very impressed , what about adding some visualizers? Or what about adding lyrics options?
Right Now visualizer is available on equalizer screen only. I am planning to add visualizer as an option to display on lockscreen with customizations like bar colors, no of bubbles per bar level as you can see there are bubbles in equalizer visualization . As far as lyrics goes that can be possible in future with the help of an lyrics provider API. I promise you visualizer will definitely be available soon. You can also rate my app on google play if you kinda like it .
Spoilers:
Next major version (v3) will also have a one for all search option to find song name, album , genres , playlists etc at one place.

Loving it, waiting for a search option. Also, I don't know if I'm missing a shortcut but, the only way to access the EQ is going back to the main screen? Maybe I'm blind.
Good work!
