Can i Install Xposed on Marshmallow?
Does it affect any of the application? Example for the Camera?
I'm planning to unlock my bootloader and install Xposed Framework.
I just want to confirm if there are some bugs or it will affect something in the system.

did you deodex the camera app? because after i installed xposed, most of my camera functions fc now. only 4k video, timeshift-video,
auto- and manual cam is working. ar effect, multi-cam, creative effect, panorama and some others are crashing and not working anymore.
im using androplus kernel v21 btw

I'm attaching the camera app deodexed.
Move it to syterm\priv-app\cameracommon, set permission to rw-r-r, delete oat folder, and reboot.
And let me know if it solves your issues...

big thanks, all camera functions are running. i didnt know it works for marshmallow too, since i only saw the deodexing guide for LP only. another thing learned :good:
Hi everyone, I'm new so I appologise if what I ask is commonly known as fixed, but before I put xposed on my Z5 I notice the current release can have issues with Sony devices and some corrupted files which is unfixable at present? I found this on another xda page, the actual xposed page I think, yet I see above someone has it on a z5 safely
Is this issue resolved?

I´m not so sure.. I have it on 6.0 (framework v84) and camera doesn´t work on z5.

I had bootloops with v84... Use v83.

Hey guys,
I was wondering how to install stock camera ( or any other xperia camera app) on Xperia L with CM11 nightly.
I have tried pushing apk to system<app and setting up permissions then following a reboot. I have also tried installing a zip file through cwm.
But when I open the camera app it force closes.....
Please help me, I'm missing the superior auto feature.

quick and simple answer....you simply cant.
Atleast not yet.
That feature is still missing in custom kitkat roms...
For now you just got to deal with that blurry camera that is implamented in that rom.

Just want to share another simple app of mine that allows you to use the hidden lockscreen effects available on Note 4 or S5. Just download and install. No root required. See screenshot for available lockscreen effects.

It have me system ui force close when I selected ink effect, and for other effects they didn't seem to work. And I had a tough time to get my phone back to working. I almost thought I would have to reflash. Thanks anyway, maybe it is not for me.

All effects are working fine here on a stock ROM without any modification.
Working great on a stock XEO (Poland), rooted ROM.

That means it will work only on stock ui. I am using xposed framework and many other xposed modules. So I guess it's conflicting with them.

tried the camera in somboons lp rom and it won't install... (d802 model)
so please also state which rom and variant you use that it worked for you because apps obviously don't work on all G2 variants/roms...

I just tried on inazuma Rom, camera works fine. Put the apk to system/private and change permissions, reboot.

4K & Timeshift video
INSTALLATION:
1. Download archive --> Ulozto or Google Drive
2. Copy to SD Card
3. Install zip via recovery
4. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
5. Reboot and enjoy
... and press THANKS button of course

Tested in Z1C with 5.1.1. So no surprises...

No i have no outer mods.
Could it be a problem with the rom?
When i try to record a video in 4k the picture freezes but the buttons still work. If i press "Stop" the phone try to safes a file but it never stop. After some time the app crash and i cant play back the video file because its corrupted but there is a file. If i try to reopen the Camera i get an error that the driver crashed and a need to restart the phone... after the restart the normal camera works again. Timeshift is working perfect.

The camera apk by default is very simple, besides not being able to record in slow motion. Can someone give me the S7 apk or some way to get it back? Thanks

The default camera will not install on LineageOS. You must use a touchwiz (samsung) ROM.
