It's become a tradition and every device has a thread for this, so let's get one started for our device. As the title states, share your favorite screenshots, setups, launchers and wallpapers here for others to enjoy.
Let's get this started and get some action going on the Verizon section for our device.

I'm using Apex Launcher with DCikonZ icon pack from the playstore. I like to try and keep my home screen simple. Running Cogul: Cobalt Blue theme from the theme store.

Is there any way to use a certain part of a theme, i like the dark menus of some themes but the app icons are hideous.

With root there would be. I used to make these themes to flash over existing themes in the store when I was on the sprint s6 edge. If you search the s6 edge forums, look for Pas2001 thread called Samsung Theme Park. They have some pretty cool themes that you can add without root, just read their instructions very closely. I'll try to post a link for his thread shortly.
Link to Pas2001 thread. Not all of their creations are updated to MM, so please read descriptions and thread. Bunch of great group of themers over there.

For changing the icons you will have to use a different launcher. I use Nova Prime and the Marshmallow icons from Nova with the material dark theme. There are other icons to chose from in the play store.

I just thought of this as well. If you are a Touchwiz launcher fan you can still download the icon packs for other launchers and use a free app (Icon Changer free) from the playstore to change your icons on your home screen. You can choose your own icons, images or icons from icon packs as well. Don't think you can do much with the all apps (app drawer button) though. I believe you have to change then one by one, but at least it's possible to change. Just another option that I didn't think of before.

I may give those icons a try. I just started using Nova Prime again instead of Apex launcher. I'm not a big fan of the TW launcher at all.

They are OK but there are still some rounded ones left. I'll have to hunt for some better ones.

Download the theme use it then change the icons. Look up dark icons or shaded ones install them into your theme in its settings. That's what I do to mix and match.

Sleek Sexy Hi-res Custom Icons *UPDATED* 19/2

Hey guys, ive made myself some custom icons as i wasn't really happy with what was out there. Ive set them up with Desktop Visualizer so they are bigger.
If anyone else is interested id be happy to upload them and share them to the community.
im also in the process of making a hancent theme to match, and the app market
If anyone does end up wanting them and you need a icon i'll make it for you, only if you request it like this
Application name
[image/link to icon]
Colour you would like (if other colours end up being made)
So i guess this is my contribution to the community lol
My home screen setup with them

Actual size of icons in .psd, so you can have them pretty big on the homescreen if you want.
INSTRUCTIONS
You'll need
- Home Screen replacement adwEX / Launcher Pro ect... ( I use adwEX so ive only tested on that)
- Home screen setup to 10x10
- Desktop Visualizer + config tool (both free in market)
- Folder Organizer (optional)
First setup your home screen to 10x10 and install DVR
Copy all the .pngs to the dvr folder on your sd card
Long Press the home screen and create a dvr config widget, place it in the top left corner and tap on it, set it to 10x10, exit out. Move it to the bottom right tap on it. It will confirm itself. You can delete that widget off the home screen now.
Long Press the home screen and create a DVR widget 2x1 for the size on my home screen or resize the widget 4x2 to have it double the size, or 8x4 for a HUGE one.
Tap on the widget to set it up, under "icon" select image and navigate to the dvr folder and image of choice.
Under action you can choose what you want the widget todo, ie; Launcher an app.
Leave the label blank, and touch effect to whatever colour you like. (im using blue)
When you are done, tap OK and your new icon/widget will be set up.
If you have folder organizer you can setup the app draw icon to link to the app folder via "other/folder organizer link/applications" in the DVR action menu. ( its how i have it setup)

No, as its considered as warez :/, but im sure if you google youll be able to find it.
I'd love to get this for my Tab (XXJID), but whenever I install a launcher (Launcher pro or ADWex) my tab reboots after a few minutes and is stuck in a boot loop.
Only way to fix this is removing the launcher in safe mode.
Do you have any idea how i could get this to work?
Does anyone know the actual pixel sizes for all the different sizes for desktop visualizer widgets on the tab?

Can't seem to recreate your theme
I've done the DVR config, set ADW EX to 10x10 then set the Widgets up to 2x1 but the icons are too big to fit 5 in a column. Any ideas where I've gone wrong?
Edit: fixed this by enabling 'auto stretch wifgets' in ADW settings
Also, where do we need to put fonts for Minimalist Widgets to be able to use it?

Well so far I've tried ADWLauncher Ex, ADW.Launcher, Launcher Pro and GO Launcher EX.
So far GO Launcher EX is the only one that at least works for almost a minute, before the Tab reboots and is stuck (started through the finished installation notification).
Pressing the home button does nothing except vibrating sometimes.

Post Your HOMESCREEN [SGSL]

I'm starting this thread so that everyone can showoff their creativity in making Awesome Homescreens.
I myself put a lot of effort in customizing my Homescreens.
While posting your homescreens, please be specific on what you used to achieve it (eg. Name of widget or wallpaper).
So ill start with 2 homescreens which even got FEATURED on lifehacker.com
1. The Evil Android Homescreen.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Lifehacker link.
I customized my homescreen to make it look simple, neat and smart, and it goes well with the Gingerbread green color.
I'm using the stock Gingerbread OS on my Samsung Galaxy SL with GO Launcher Ex as the launcher.
I am not using many widgets on my screen as I really like the wallpaper.
The Evil Android under the torn layer.
I've mainly kept all the Internet apps on the center screen. I use Minimalistic Text for the date.
You can tap the date to open any calendar app.
I've not kept any clock widget as the time is always there in the notification bar.
The black circle in the center is the Circle Launcher for more Internet apps which I don't use often but should be accessible quickly if I do need them. I also use Switch Pro for the Data connection and Bluetooth widget.
On the left screen, I again use Minimalistic Text for the battery. You can tap the widget to open the Battery Usage screen. I've kept this screen for things I don't do many times in a day (eg. Keep an alarm, Calculate things, or update or download a new app) but at the same time they shouldn't be far when I need them.
The right screen screen is for other utilities which I use regularly. I use Phantom Music Control for the music widget, which controls PowerAmp.
Though PowerAmp has its own widgets, I couldn't make those fit properly in the area I wanted and also there are no skins available for those widgets. So I'm using the Phantom Music Control widget as it gives options for customization including skins.
The icons are not included with any GO Launcher theme. I found some of them on the internet and others I've photoshopped. I made the wallpaper merging the Evil Android wallpaper which I found on Lifehacker and another from DeviantArt.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
The second Homescreen.
2. The Aged Paper Homescreen.
Lifehacker link.
What I've done here is that I used this wallpaper, and cropped it in multiples of my screen resolution (480x800). That is, since I'm using three screens I cropped it in the resolution 1440x800.
I'm using GO Launcher EX launcher which uses a grid based home screen layout, so I created a grid in Photoshop to map the text icons. Those text icons are not actually icons.
I used the text tool in Photoshop to create them using various handwriting fonts which I found on the internet. Those texts are on the wallpaper itself.
The reason behind this was it gave me freedom to orient the text in any way i wanted and could use more space on the home screen. If I had made an icon file of the text and then had replaced it on the screen then that would had confined the text in the grid box which sometimes results in cropping of the icon depending on available space.
I used MultiPicture Live Wallpaper to set each screen's wallpaper. This allowed me to use the whole image as the wallpaper. After setting each screen's wallpaper I used a "blank" icon to replace each home screen icon.
When it comes to widgets: On the home screen and the left screen I've used Minimalistic Text with one of the fonts. The Data connection and Bluetooth toggle is Switch Prowidgets. Lastly, PowerAmp is on the Right screen.

The main purpose from this thread is SHARING, so please give more information about this:
1_ Launcher
2_ Theme
3_ Wallpaper (download link if possible)
4_ Icon pack? (if you are using this)
5_ ...
and here is mine
_ stock launcher
_ Wallpaper from HTC ONE, you can have it here on my drive
_ Icons from the theme STARK, i'm using only the icons from this themethere's an app for that it's called "Unicon" this needs root and with it you can apply any icons you like from a theme that's only for nova/apex/go/next launcher....
the main reason i did this is because XPosed Framework changes the icons to a strange theme somehow io couldn't get rid of it even with applying other Emotion UI themes.

There are few things I want to change and that is:
- removing the percent for the batt in the statusbar
- Lockscreen with widgets, a la Android 4.2 style. Not the Huawei stock.
I read about this change, but there is not a solution yet. But, there must be a way to change this? At the background is it still Android 4.2 that's running

I'm kind of lost here. I want to buy this phone, but it looks like it doesn't even have it's own page, let alone dedicated developers making ports of roms.
I was almost dead-set on buying this phone over the Samsung Galaxy Mega, Lenovo P780 or Zopo ZP990. But I realize now that the Galaxy Mega has the most xda support out of all four devices considering it's the only one with it's own dedicated page.

6 would be good for a start.
I'm liking this. I won't be using this until it is updated, as it seems it will be updated shortly. But I will when it is!
Suggestion: make the grid size optional (example: settings for 4x5, 5x5, 5x6, etc.). Though that might be hard to implement. Still, I wanted to throw the idea out there.

Thanks man for your mod. really nice! just one question/request. Could you modify the weather widget to be transparent or like 20% translucent? would be awesome!
Would it be possible to add more docks? Like a second dock page as in third party launchers?
Thanks,

For some reason I remember it appeared in the widgets on the Note 4 even with Nova. But, you can't on the Note 5. However, you can use a 3rd party widget application (like Zooper) and install an S6 Weather widget (which is pretty much the same as the stock Note 5 weather widget). Or you could use UCCW or Zooper and create your own. I was going to do that, but I got lazy and bought one from the play store for $0.99 that works with Zooper Pro.
It you're looking for something similar and clean looking like the stock widget you could run a Brightweather and Timely Combination. Have App Overlay turned on and place Brightweather at the top and then Timely below it and stretch Brightweather over Timely to give make it look as if it's one widget and while keeping it clean.
This is how I had it set up for example. I hope this is a good alternative for you!

Xwidget is also a good alternative, although, I have never been able to get the stock weather app to work with Nova.
chronus widget added one that looks similar. need to download the Chronus GS6 weather icon pack too.
There is a way to do it. Technically, won't be the widget but it will be a zooper that looks just like it. You'll also have to add some transparent icons to open the app whenever you tap the widget. I'll find to how to and post it here
Here you go the zoomed widget that looks like the Samsung weather widget https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.designedly.zwskin.s6widgets
And this is what the widget looks like.

Had to post a link because when I try to attach an image using tapatalk the app is FC on me.

I actually used Xwidget and I got it to work. There are so many S6 Weather Widgets that are very similar. I tried several and they worked for me on the Note 5.

Do you mean on the Lock screen or the home screen?
you can get the weather widget on the lock screen when Nova is your default launcher. -
All you have to do is setup weather in your touchwiz launcher - once you have a location assigned in the stock home screen weather widget in Touchwiz launcher - the weather will be added to the lock screen regardless of whether you use Touchwiz or Nova - but you have to turn it on in Touchwiz to get it to work on the lock screen after Nova is set as your default launcher.
I also just tried to add "weather widget" on my Nova Home Screen and it works too - I dont know if adding it in Nova will automatically inlcude it on the lock screen or not - but I know if you follow the instructions above, it does work.
Hope that helps.

not sure - but I just tried to replicate the look of the stock widget with Beautiful widgets and I got pretty close to what you are looking for - just need to use the right layout and correct thrme - I threw this one together without trying to match the exact look - with a little searching, I am sure you could find a theme that is even closer to stock look -
regardless - good luck
