Anybody know which Xposed module will help me remove the cricket carrier label from the status bar? I have gravity box but see no option
Try the module Flat-Style-Bar-Indicators.

Install gravity box so you can access the settings as well as the xposed framework and the above module
Oh man, that's the only missing feature in our 4.2.2.I'll test it as soon as I can but for now what to keep stock because I'll do a full video review of 4.2.2 tomorrow.Btw,I have to deodex the rom for xposed framework to work, right?
You don't have to deodex the rom. Working great on XL.
just need root, the xposed framework, gravity box and the mod linked above. gravity box add's all kinds of neat things though like reboot menu, smaller nav bar, lots of stuff.
not working . i only installed gravity box alongwith xposed to avoid conflicts(both latest version) but quick toggles not working and another issue in gravity box is when i tick the expanded volume controls then it gets working but after reboot, lost it
did you install the actual mod too, or just gravity box and xposed?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494071
And it works fine, I even posted a screenshot showing it works, so I don't know what you did, but works for me.
Works
Its quite nice but would have loved if Sony included it by default

sorry I haven't installed the actual mod
now it works fine but what about expanded volume control always lost after reboot. Is this a bug or I'm doing something wrong here also?

Sorry it works fine, the error was in me.
Xperia L locked Bl rooted, android 4.2.2
??
Have no clue what im doing wrong, but the module doesnt come in effect. All my other xposed modules work btw, including gravity box
Edit : Its working now, but only if i select quick pulldown in Statusbar tweaks > QuickSettings Management > Quick Pulldown or if i tick Auto switch Quick settings in gravity box.
So is gravity box required for this to work??
Think....貌似好爽啊
@getochkn can you make it look like aosp?i mean,to fully remove our status bar and have only this aosp statusbar.here is an image of what i mean: http://www.xda-developers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/screenshot.png thanks!

You have to be rooted with stock 4.2.2 firmware.
Then you have to installed xposed framework apk, gravity box module and xperia flip modules. All modules can be found on the xposed framework app. Just install the modules and activate it through xposed. Check gravity box and you will find a option named status bar tweaks. Just go there and enjoy the mod.
So as the title says, how can I please disable this? I've searched everywhere and was unable to find help.
What happens is I slide to the left on the navigation bar and it puts my phone to sleep. I can't find the option anywhere in Gravity Box to disable this.
I'm running stock with elementalx kernel and xposed framework. Thanks for the help.

It's part of the kernel?
It's part of the kernel? That's a first I'm hearing. I would think it would have something to do with xposed and gravity box. Any way to disable it?

Yes, reflash the kernel and uncheck the option in the Elemental installer.

What he meant was when the screen turns off and become the lockscreen, the status bar part does not become transparent. And yes it won't. U need to modify the androidpolicy.jar for the lock screen transparency
It is in fact this I mean ... how do you change the androidpolicy.jar for transparency lock screen?
I am looking for a lock screen where I can open different apps when I drag from the center to the app icon. I saw it on a custom nexus phone. he lock screen looks like a star.
you can use gravity box ( an xposed module) to add more item to stock lockscreen
Is xposed framework with Samsung lollipop compatible? I read somewhere that I can end up in a boot loop.

if you want a custom locker, check out Hi locker.
Thats almost what I want but I would like to have the lock as a star to have the option of starting 7 apps. With Hi locker I have only 4 options.

Gravity box gives you 8 options.
Backup your rom, install xposed and gravity box and try it.
How can I backup my rom?

Using clockworkmod or TWRP.
I tried to install clockworkmod. Now my phone is not booting up anymore
Samsung Galaxy S5 is not working with xposed modul so I can't install Gravity box.

Which version do you use? Do you use stock rom?
I want to add date and weekday in the status bar, how to do it w/o root?
PS. snapdragon based.
Have you tried Samsung's Good Lock module, QuickStar? One problem with the module is that you have to open it after restarting your phone for the settings you chose.
GadgetHacks site has suggestions of apps that may change your status bar, and also gave suggestions with previous Android versions so you could hide the status bar via adb.
Thank you for the suggestions.
I tried Quickstar and Super Status Bar that found in the Gadgehacks, but neither of them is able to add date and weekday on the status bar.

Thank you. Does the app and it's dependencies (eg. Magisk) require root?
