[Q] Will deodexed ROMs user get future official OTA updates from Google?

Hi,
I found a deodexed stock rom in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060192
Since 'deodexed' mess with file names/class.dex
If I flash the deodexed stock rom, will I have problem getting official OTA updates from Google? (the official updates should be odexed, right? not deodexed)

Firmware Update On Nexus 5?

I new to the Nexus 5, I used to to used the HTC One and on the One I could flashed ROM, radio, and firmware. I know that Google will soon release Android 4.4.3. Currently I have my Nexus 5 rooted with TWRP and PA. On my old One what I did when HTC released 4.4.2 update, was I flashed the phone back to stock (with S-OFF) get the update then rerooted with a custom ROM so that I can have the latest firmware. My question is that will I have to do the same thing too? Does the Nexus 5 even have a firmware update? If the new update does contain a new firmware can I used the method I used on the One? Or can I just update my PA ROM to 4.4.3 and be done?
Thanks for the help, I am just confused right now.

Take a look at the N5 OTA help desk, it will have the answers that you need.

pa will add 4.4.3 into the rom when the code gets released. all youll have to do is update your pa rom when they release it.

haven't tested it on stock rom (odexed rom) but I remember some guys said that it would work.

is there a stock 6.0.1 rom?

I'm rooted, and want to update. I know that the activity on the S5 forum has been slowing as dev's get newer devices...
Is there a stock sprint 6.0.1 rom out there? I keep looking around, but I can't find the stock version of the ROM. Any help?
i am also looking for the ODIN flashable stock rom......... have not blown knox yet - hope to keep it this way
Hit up sammobile. You install through odin and won't trip knox.

You may have to register to download. ..can't remember off hand

A11 custom rom?

Anyone working on a custom rom based on A11 that will be a full rom?
Meaning, after flashing I'd be on A11.
I'd like to see a flashable OOS stock rom.
Can we still do that with today's phones\envirobment?

I didn't really understand everything but OOS 11 stable has been released so you should have stock Android 11.
As for custom ROMs they're in development, it's just not fully ready yet, ROM development is still (and hopefully will keep being) possible.

I'm on a Slrint\Tmo branded OnePlus 8 5G.
They lock out OTA once rooted.
They also got rid of local Upgrade.
Only way I'm getting to A11 is either going back to stock unrooted and using OTA
OR
Someone publishes a stock rom that I can flash.
I'd rather do the rom flash rather than going back to stock unrooted to update.
I would just need to remove magisk and modules I guess.... Prt not that big a deal, honestly...
But I'd prefer flashable a11 rom over going OTA
