Zero lemon battery case Nexus 6p - Nexus 6P Accessories

I just emailed them to get a update seeing how they made one for the nexus 6 and low and behold look at this. Just received it this morning. I will be patient and will not buy another case. Hopefully this brings good news to all.

Its always nice to see more cases being made for this phone. Will keep an eye out for it.

This is good news. It would be great for long trips.

Or short ones...lol. I'm currently getting about 6 hours of battery life off of a full charge. That's with stock Marshmallow. I think this latest March update did something that offends my battery.

That's awesome

Just another update to support the email. The rep said on the Facebook page maybe in may. So we can all cross our fingers a d hope for may.

I can't wait. Coming from my Zerolemon 10000 on my old Note 3 to this phone was hard.

update: should come out mid May according to an email I got from Zerolemon, but I don't understand why they are not posting some pictures and an official release date on their website/facebook page

Why do companies like this wait for so long to release this? If they had it within the first 2 months or so I would have for sure bought it, but at this point whenever it really comes in not so sure. Coming from a nexus nerd I'll have to get the new one that's probably 5ish months away based on typical releases.

They may not have gotten a phone to do development till release of the phone, then it would take time to design and spin up new products.

Doesn't look like it will be released until next month.

It probably won't ever be released by the look of things. Just buy a powerbank if you need the extra juice, that's what I did.

Yep, seems to be DOA...

By the time they release it I'm gonna have a note 6 or nexus 6p.2 or nexus 7(?)

I guess you right.. just when you wanna get comfortable and stay with one phone.

Does anyone else make a product similar?
How much thickness does it add? Maybe there's a picture somewhere online of say a Nexus 5 with and without?
How does it actually work? Does it just charge your internal battery or does it somehow switch off internal and use external battery?

Now they are saying July
https://twitter.com/zero_lemon/status/730314346438369280
Atr this point, i give up. Just need a company to make a small battery pack I guess.

they did this with the 6, I think the case was released a month or so before the 6p was announced. it was a good case though

We finally have a date july 15th. I have been watching this so closely and I hope its made really well and works well. I will be ordering it day one.

Ordered a Nexus 4

Ordered a Nexus 4 today off Google Play Store. 16GB with 1-2 Weeks Shipping according to email.
Love my One S, but I've had it in the back of my mind, and when I checked randomly at work 30 minutes ago, Well behold the things are back in stock for first time in over a month.
It was fate. I snagged one.
Appreciate the all the great Roms and Devs. Hope to see some of you over one the Nexus 4 boards in a couple weeks.
Nice hopefully they will stay in stock till the end of the week. Need to buy mine.
I was thinking about getting one. I probably would have a litttle bit back if it wasn't out of stock. I love the Nexus series as they are easy to unlock and have GREAT developers. Developers who actually code from SCRATCH
I've decided against the Nexus 4 because it is not that much of an upgrade at all to the One S. No more memory (maybe a 3-4gigs if the N4 handles nand differently) and no better performance. I guess I'll just wait for the next Nexus or the SGSiv. N4 doesn't sell it for me...
Have fun, now leave!
Sorry to see you go. You were like a son to me

Upgrade from N4 to N5?

I have had a Nexus 4 since the end of August.
I've been given the opportunity to upgrade to a new Nexus 5. Should I go for it, or should I wait instead and get the Nexus 6 (or whatever it will be called) in October when its released?
Anyone who did make the jump from the N4, your opinions will be greatly appreciated. I can't see any groundbreaking improvements...?
So far I'm leaning on sticking with the N4 for now, its not even a year old yet and does pretty much all I want to do on it. I'm a casual user, no root, stock KitKat etc.
Cheers.

The Nexus 5 is a great phone. Love it and treasure it like a baby
But The Nexus 4 is still a very powerful phone. I would keep it until the next Nexus or something

In all honesty I don't think it is worth it, yeah; 1080p, better camera, processor, and speaker is moved but really..... eh as far as I am concerned.. If I remember correctly you can get LTE on the Nexus 4 (I never did though). I upgraded just because I wanted the latest nexus device.
I also got my N4 in August. I only had it until the week the N5 came out. It was just too tempting! I don't think the N5 is a massive upgrade but my N4 used to shut itself down overnight sometimes. The N5 has been totally reliable and feels much more robust. Its the first Android phone that I've kept close to stock. Franco kernel is well worth looking at.

lte works great on the nexus 4. sure, it officially doesnt have it. but its easy enough to enable.
anyways, in speed and performance, the nexus 5 blows away the nexus 4.
Upgraded from the N4 to N5 since November and never looked back!
If you can wait for the Motorola-Lenovo Nexus then wait for it or if you can't buy it now then sell it later then use that $ pickup the new motoleno nexus
I also came from the n4 and mainly upgraded to the n5 because of the bigger screen, camera, and sd800. The camera itself was enough for me to buy it since the n4 had this horrible over exposure preview problem when taking pictures. Which made it extremely difficult to tell if it was a good picture or not until I went into the gallery to check it.
Either way, I have no regrets
No regrets, had the N4 for about 4 months before moving to the N5. N4 was my first foray back into Android phone since the LG Eve (which Rogers/LG abandoned pretty much, had to beg to get 1.6 when everyone else was getting 2.2). N5 to me feels much more refined than the N4, in terms of just the feel of the phone itself (thinner, sleeker, barely taller but the screen difference was noticeable). That said, it's much more like an evolutionary vs revolutionary device when compared with the N4.
I would say no. I would personally only upgrade ever 2 cycle. Went from an Samsung Galaxy S2X to a nexus 5 and it wasn't that big of a jump, but the price was right.
Snapdragon 800 ia a beast
had N4 from march, changed to another one in August..and in November moved to N5. wouldnt go back in a lifetime!
go for n5
The Nexus 4 isn't that bad although the only thing I miss/don't miss is the glass back. It made the phone stand out but I was so scared of damaging it.
What I really do love about the Nexus 5 is that we now have the option for a 32gb (which I now have unopposed to a 16gb Nexus 4). The screen is also a lot better, camera is a million times better and the speaker has definitely improved over the Nexus 4. I remember being embarrassed when showing a friend or a family member a YouTube video and them asking me to turn my volume up and I'm like "its all the way up".

Really? The tough point for me, watching speed tests I can't see that much of a difference! The difference seems minimal (like 1-2 seconds)... Can you expand on your statement please?

I don't usually change phones very often frequently, so if I did get the N5 I wouldn't be expecting to get an N6 straight after in a few months.
So its really just one or the other.

I've read various reports (rumors?). Are you referring to the one about Google stopping the Nexus line and offering a "Google Experience" phone?
I'm not too sure , I've read on phonearena.com saying during the MWC, a google representative stated there will be no new nexus device before Q4 of this year.

So i had the Nexus 4, changed to Galaxy S4 and i am now on my Nexus 5.
Speed is a reason! You don't see that in speedtests but Nexus 4 and S4 had some laggy feeling that the Nexus 5 doesn't have. I played last week with the nexus 4 of a friend last week an i felt like i went back to stoneage... But afterall its everything a matter of perception.
The second reason to change is the camera! I hated the really bad camera of the nexus 4, i liked the camera of the Galaxy S4 and i love the camera of the Nexus 5. Yes the galaxy s4 has a better camera on high light conditions, but i make 90% of my pictures in parties/night under low light conditions and there the camera of the Nexus 5 is brilliant!
The third reason is Nexus wireless charger with it's magnets and the vertical charging! Really nice although a bit expensive gimmick.Really good to use in your car.
After all everything goes down to the money. I was able to make the change without paying anything, but i would definitely make the change even if i had to pay!

Who cares? Id still be using my Nexus 4 if it had LTE Phones have reached a point where they don't need to be better. It's just a P. ssing contest. The 5 is ideal with a good kernel. Some are never happy. Reading technology sites is to blame. They hype something up for 6months then forget and want the next as their sad jobs need news. True. Although for me I just want something new and shiny because I get bored. Arguably I didn't need to upgrade from my S3 but I wanted to. That said, it's not like I am looking for my next handset yet. Loads of life in my 5 left over.
I always get a little jealous when a couple of newer phones than mine have come out/are coming out. I have no desire whatsoever for a Galaxy S4 or HTC One M8, but the Sony Z2 is shaping up to make me a bit envious. Ultimately though I know my N5 is going to give me a far easier ride when it comes to modding it, stuff just works properly on it.

That there. That is why I buy nexus devices. You don't have to jump though hoops to modify it. I had an HTC one before this and you had to go through HTC dev and then gain s off and everything else. Heaven forbid if you need to go back to stock for repair purposes. Pain in the ass.

True, however it would be nice to see what the devs would like to see on their upcoming phone....and from the latest news, it looks like the Nexus 6 is going to be announced at the end of july. Not to mention, more than likely, with iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy s5 about to hit in mid-end of April, Google will want to release something to compete with the hype. Every article I read stated it would at least have a 2k video display and would follow the lines of the nexus 5 with the upcoming LG G3...so another clone from what I understand, and if that's the case, it looks pretty promising.

[Q] Buying the Nexus 5 today

Im in the hunt for a new phone. Ive been thinking about buying the new Z3 Compact when its launched but I cannot stand the modified android version the different manufacturers are using, I HAVE to run vanilla or close to it. I know I could root any phone and install stock android on it but im not sure if its worth the hassle for me considering it takes time to make a stable rom etc.
The perfect phone would be a smaller Nexus 5 in my mind, good usability in one hand and fast updates. I guess it wont exist in the near future tho?
Is it a smart decision to buy the Nexus 5 today?
Get one. If you don't like it you can return it. Only you can decide if you like the N5

Different colours for different schmullers. Pick whats best for you. This also goes for custom roms. Dont ask us when you get it what rom you should use. Please just make up your own mind.
You have had help deciding whether or not to get the nexus 5 I think it is best you decide which color you like when you get to the store or if your purchasing online then look at the colors there. The color part isn't much of a big deal and mainly comes down to personal preference. So I think it would be best for you to decide on your own

So should I get it or wait?

Should I get the OPO, or wait for the confirmed OnePlus Two? I mean, in a blog post, 3 winners of a photo contest get hands on w/ the two in hong kong. It's coming in Q3. Should I wait? Or gun it? I am stuck w/ an apple iphone 5 so :/
You should go for it. The price doesn't get better than what it is right now, $249 for the 64GB, and $349 with one year of Dropbox Pro. Plus, I read somewhere that OP is going to use the invite system to sell the OP2, which unless you don't mind the hassle is kind of a pain in the ass. I am keeping mine until I get more details about the OP2, if it doesn't come with a fingerprint support, I will probably move to next Nexus 6, but keep the OPO as my back up phone.

If I was faced with the same decision I'd still buy the OnePlus One now. It's cheap, you don't need an invite anymore, and it's a beast of a phone. The OnePlus Two isn't going to be as cheap, and they'll be reverting to the invite system again.

It's hard to know to be honest... I've had the OPO since July of last year and, as everyone in this thread has said, it's an amazing phone, and that doesn't even include the price. I would say it depends on what you're interested in. If you like having the 'latest and greatest' phone with the newest CPU / GPU and most RAM (like me ) etc, I'd wait. But if you just want a great phone that will be able to run the next few versions of Android and all the apps in the world (minus some future games that require OpenGL ES 3.1 or something, but that's a good way off yet!) and has a great community to back that up (even when OnePlus leave it behind), as well as an amazing price, I'd go for it.
Had the same kinda question facing me. Stick with my Nexus 5 until the end of the year when the OP2 or new Nexus' are out, or go for the OPO.
Went for the OPO. Blows my N5 out of the water and will take me until the end of the year. If the phones i mentioned above are too expensive I'm happy keeping the OPO into next year.
Helps i got £100 for my N5.
Feels like such a premium phone. Took it to work on Friday and people were amazed that it cost so little.
Still a fantastic phone for the price had mine well over a year and still going strong was considering upgrading this month but I am sticking with the OPO for longer. It does everything I need on a phone the screen is still good, battery life is excellent, takes decent daylight photos and is fluid on CM12.1.

Hey guys, this seems like the most relevant thread to post in, but I agree with some of the previous comments, I really like the specs on the OPO, I currently have an HTC M8, with the same chipset, which runs phenomenal, however AOSP ROMS aren't the best for HTC Devices, they've always suffered from a lot of bugs, and GPE support has started to lag behind with the M9 being out.
I just purchased a 64gb model and am anxiously awaiting for it to arrive. My question is, how is the overall build quality of this device? I wasn't impressed with the N5 build quality and from videos and pics, this phone looks solid, but I've read about numerous users complaining about touch screen issues. Is this phone pretty solid? And how are AOSP ROMS on this device? Pretty bug free? Thanks!
