When you use an edge panel, the screen below is blurred.
Is there a way to have clear screen like in Note Edge?

Id you run an app with a screen filter like Lux auto brightness, the screen doesnt blur when you use the edge.
Probably root and xposed

I actually uninstalled Lux as I preferred the screen to blur when using the edge... If Lux is installed and not sleeping, the screen definitely doesn't blur out.

Good ..... It works.
Now it would be perfect if some developer could implement only a simple function for have a clear screen instead of blur when an edge panel is displayed.

Really digging this app. There is one minor annoying thing that is happening. When I turn on my screen the application looks to jump to the top of the notification list. When it does that it moves everything down, which causes a bit of shutter on my lock screen.
Have you heard of this? Also, PM if you want a video for this great application.

Yes...Root it and ..install CF lumen or lux
And save some battery juices.

You only need one filter app, but try both and see which one you prefer.

Eyes protector (night mode) works better for me.
The only problem in all is the buttons in screen that are at normal bright

I've used Screen Filter for years, doesn't require root. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.haxor&hl=en
you can also use "Dimly" which doesn't require root either. You can set the screen to whatever brightness level you want, and it has a toggle on/off switch from the drop down notification. Pretty good app.
Just got my Gear S2 Classic. Very nice, apart from one major issue. The screen is so dim in ambient mode its almost invisible outdoors. I don't think the brightness can be increased.
I'm going to get rid of the watch and keep my pebble steel. The gear has failed at its primary purpose - to tell the time.
I know i can wake it up by moving my wrist, but this rarely works in practice, and defeats the purpose of ambient mode anyway....
Try using different watch faces. Different watch faces have different ambient modes.
Other than the stock watch faces you can also install Mr.Watchmaker and Watchland.

Thanks, but as far as i can see they only change the content of the display, not its brightness. It's the brightness that is the issue which I presume is built into the operating system

Are you trying to read the watch with polarized sunglasses? If so, try turning the watch face a few degrees, it should allow more light through the "filter" in your sunglasses.

Is your brightness set to 10 in settings? This is how mine looks in ambient mode and I don't have issues with brightness.

Thanks, yeah, it's set to 10 but doesn't seem to affect ambient mode.
I can see it easily indoors in ambient mode, but outside in sunlight it's almost invisible.
Hi, I just bought it and I'm seeing that the screen contrast is too high, at least for me it looks hard. Do you know a way to change it? I searched in all the settings and I didn't find nothing, I could active sRGB mode but no solution.

I am not aware of any such setting in this mobile. The best you could do is fiddle with the brightness. May be you could search in the developer options settings.

I did it but I find nothing, only, like I said, the sRGB toggle. At least my uncle who is the owner didn't say nothing, so at the moment is fine hahaha.

I found the setting that was causing the problem. searching "screensaver" in settings found a selection for screensaver when docked or charging. I changed it to "none".

Yay! Lol, Samsung's are notorious for their hidden settings. Sometimes in plain sight but others required a double tap on unmarked menu items
edit: I'm aware it's an LG. Koreans are sort of krazy in general... look at their graffiti
