Hi,
I have a Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) and I'm not receinving the update to Android 6. For this reason I search in SamMobile the download for the rom with cdc AUV but I found nothing. So my question is: if I flash an Android 6.0.1 ROM with a different cdc can I have troubles?
Sincerely,
Tinwor

Download the stock firmware for you device (search for it as there as no links on xda for it) and flash it via Odin..
here's a tutorial on how to use Odin..

(don't use the links for the firmware which are on this thread as they are for a different device.)

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. If I understand you, you want to remove the custom flag. Read through this and see if it will work on your device,http://www.xda-developers.com/triangleaway-reset-flash-counter-tool/

I own a samsung Galaxy s4 I9500 with 4.4.2 kitkat version. I am trying to install the 5.1.1 Lollipop by following the steps and firmware given on this site. I've managed to download the Odin_v3.09 however the firmware cannot be downloaded. Whenever I click the download link I am redirected to SamMobile and because of some reason the website cannot be opened. I've tried on different browsers on my laptop, phone etc but still not working. If somebody has this firmware already downloaded on your system please do send me via email. I would be really grateful to you. Thanks

Hello,
I am planning on following a guide to root my Note 3 SM-N9005, currently running Android 5.0. My FW version is LRX21V.N9005XXUGBOK6. The guide says it is okay to flash it with Odin with a package from chainfire's official website which is based on another FW version, LRX21V.N9005XXUGBOA5, but also suitable for SM-N9005 running Android 5.0.
Could you confirm that it is really all right to do so? I do not want to brick my phone or lose data.
Much obligated.
PS: here is the guide, for your reference (URL) nasirtech.blogspot.sg/2015/12/root-n9005xxugbok6-android-50-stock-rom.html
