The sign shows that an app is having root access right now.
Pull down the quick settings and tap on the root tile, it will show you which app is using it.

Thanks. I'm fine with that. Just don't want to see the icon

There is no way to disable the icon other than closing the app which is using root.
You could switch to SuperSU which will replace the builtin root.
I don't have any experience with it on cm13 though.

If you could find the location of the # icon image, you might be able to replace it with a null image.
Anyone know where that 'image' is stored?

There is an xposed module which can disable it. Please check below thread.

Open settings >dev options>manage root access>unmark notification toast Done after reboot the sign will disappear(worked for me lineage os 14.1,nexus4)

You can only add that to a custom rom, or to a stock rom with Xposed module installed.
In either case you would need to be bootloader unlocked and rooted.
The apps themselves are supposed to have a 3-dot "overflow" menu.
Not all apps have been optimized for kitkats immersive mode

1) Install JollaLauncher.apk from below. (This is edited for 4.2 devices)
http://goo.gl/nSI7Hl
Do not turn on accessibility for Jolla Launcher
2) Enable expanded desktop from gravity box (Means no status bar no navigation bar) Turn it on.
3) Install Heads-up notifications from below (Free App)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=codes.simen.l50notifications
4) Open app
Enable heads-up and
Go to accessibility turn on accessibility for Heads-up notifications
5) Go to settings/security and disable lock screen
That's all :good:
Restart your phone
Enjoy it
Thanks riyono for editing Jolla.apk
Notes
Screenshots are captured on Xperia C
I also use full!screen app for anyone interested
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.tsorn.FullScreen&hl=tr
Could you please help me? I enabled it but it's still like this. I don't know why. It didn't hide the navi bar.

[Q] How to remove carrier name

How to remove carrier bame from lock screen, and from notification drawer?
I need a mod only for this.
I know there is one, but that is with close recent all, and it adds the carrier.
I already have close all recent apps from Gravity, and it's more beautiful, the button I mean.
So I need only to remove carrier.

Don't we have that option in Gravity?
Check that in lockscreen settings of that Xposed module, it should be there...
Of it's not there, install GEM Xperia Xposed module and search for this tab

I'm sure you can find Xposed module which will allow you to remove carrier name from notifications drawer as well.
If not...decompiling systemUI will do the job

"Mobile Data is Disabled" Notification

Just a small little thing I'm trying to fix.
When I boot up my Xperia M phone, a notification pops up informing me that "Mobile Data is Disabled".
I never use mobile data, so I would prefer not to see this notification every time I boot up the phone.
So my question is; is it possible to disable this notification from appearing when I boot up the phone?
It's not that annoying. But I see this as an opportunity to learn more about how the Android system works. Do I have to edit a config file in the root folder, or something like that?

Which Notification is that ?
Show a pic if possible.
With the good lock Suite - You can catch unknown notifications and disable them
Yes, I got that today, in the UK.
I just installed it and then uninstalled it, maybe it'll come back but hope not. It seems to be a benign app that links you to the offers on the Samsung site, e.g. Disney+, etc.

disable auto-updates at Google play and disable background run
It is from Samsung Recommended apps app. You would need to disable it using adb
