Is there a way to make all notification sounds (ringtone, text, etc) same volume? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

so basically when i use up/down keys on the side of the phone to lower ringtone volume, it ONLY lowers ringtone volume, i literally have to adjust everything else in the drop down menu up at the top. its very annoying.
any way to make it so that when i press up/down in the volume buttons everything else goes up and down in volume and not just the ringtone??
i looked in settings and couldn't find squat.

Universal volume control (no separate phone/pda)

Is there any way to make the volume slider on my P3300 (artemis) control both the phone and the pda volume to the same level? Right now the volume control will turn the pda volume all the way down, followed by the phone ring volume once it has reached vibrate and vice versa on the way up. I would like the volume slider to set them both at the same level when adjusting (ie have them linked)
Anything like this possible without too much fuss?

[Q] CM7 and changing volume with the buttons

I want to disable changing ringtone states with the volume buttons. For example, if I press it all the way down it'll go into silent mode and vibrate mode if I go one bar up.
I don't actually want that. I change the modes through the status bar. I want to use the volume buttons to just increase/decrease the ringtone volume, but not put them into silent/vibrate.

Sound Low/High!

I have a problem with the volume of the sound, what happens is when I use my headphones the gap between sound volume when I press the volume buttons is too high.
When it's low it's fine but as soon as I press the sound key to make it higher it gets very high.
The solution would be to have between these two levels of sound a level I could also select.
I could do that with Volume++ it could add a different scale for my volume, the thing is it's not functioning right on the JB.
Do you know any app that could do just that, change the volume scale and add more options when you change the volume? I don't want a volume booster or equalizer though.
Cheers

Make Volume Control more Gradual ?

So when you press the volume buttons it bumps the volume up or down in fairly large intervals. It's really difficult to get it just right when using decent in ear headphones. One down, too low.. One up too high..
Does anyone know if there is a way to add more "steps" to the volume control?
I'm rooted.
I have noticed that in PlayerPro the volume slider is superficial and the real volume jumps between steps just as the volume buttons would. There are dead areas that are all the same step of volume.
But with Poweramp the volume control overrides the steps and truly is gradual. But that setting is buried in the app and not nearly as easy as just hitting the buttons. Hitting the buttons when using Poweramp sets the volume in the large jumps.

Notification volume?

I'm getting desperate about the notification volume thing. I'm using volume butler but it's not reliable, especially when switching to DND mode and back. Sometimes my ringtone is very soft while the notifications are really loud.
Looking for a final fix for this, my phone is rooted. Is there some build.prop that can be enabled or a magisk mod?
Hello, you can use Button Mapper here in XDA.
You have the option to use ringtone volume instead of media volume with the + - button.
You can also make applications exceptions. I use that with play music while I use Chromecast.
That's work without root.
Regards.
I used Tasker and set up tasks that sets levels for everything in four different volume conditions... Vibrate, Low, Medium and High. Within each task, I set Alarm Volume, Media Volume, Notification Volume and Ringer Volume. I also created a pop-up to tell me what profile I just set.
Then, I created individual widgets on the screen that are simply shortcuts to the tasks - one for each volume condition. Tasker comes with that widget built in. When I want to change the volume on my phone, I just tap the icon for the volume I want.
It doesn't override DND and it sets the volumes exactly as you want them every time.
