Hey Guys,
I actually want to port some ROM's for this device.
The reason I started this thread is for 2 things.
1. How to port p3100 ROMS's to p3110 and vice versa?
2.Can we port different resolution ROM's to this device?And also I need list of some devices running on 600 x 1024 resolution with armv7 or armv6.

i experience these in other android devices with the same hardware.. like vegan, adam, and gtablet..
i wonder if in galaxy phones like the mini, fit, ace and y could use same rom?

I am quite sure No.
Unless some one modifies it/ports it to galaxy y.
id not recommend it though coz fit and y are two different ohines all together and the software that works on fit may or need not work on y
New ROMs for galxaxy y
See i have tried to work hard for the galaxy y for creating a custom rom.
Well cyanogen will still take anout a month or 2 to test the roms and release the beta version.
For more how to install the new customised rom click on

a big NO..you cannot use one rom in different phone unit because of its structural differences..
i want to be a tester for roms
galaxy Y has better hardware. why would anyone want to limit their phone?
thus, i don't think it'll work.
Once you get an ext4 kernel you can easily port

ASPIRE has right why you limit your phone galaxy Y has 830 MHz ARMv6 fit has 600 Mhz ARMv6 processor

Just picked up a GT 7.0 Plus and noticing very little activity by way of custom roms specific to the 7.0 plus.
Wondering if the GT 8.9/10.1 ROMs can be used on this device or if anyone has tried it. Thanks in advance.

Won't work because the the 8.9 and the 10.1 are both Tegra 2 devices and the 7+ is Exynos. I believe the 3g/4g version of the 8.9 is powered by the exynos.
Should not be in development.

Good news for us 7 plus users and i have installed it and love it.
Works very fast and smooth, only bluetooth not working.
New rom is CM10.1 jellybean 4.2.1

P3100 is different than the P3110 AFAIK. There are 3 different model #s for the GTab2 7" from what I've seen.

P3100 has 3G and GSM functionality, the speaker grill is in the middle of the top front side (verry different than the one reviewed by engadget)
Havn't tested any roms yet. First I want to root it. Now is at P3100XXLC4, 4.0.3

Not much android development for the ZTE Blade III so, a question: If I flash a ROM built for a device with identical or near-identical hardware, to my device, will it work? Btw, I did try to search and found a guide here on porting a ROM in these circumstances (same hardw..), but I'm not sure if it applies or if it's a different method..
There are Galaxy S Duos S7562, Desire V and perhaps others that are identical to the Blade III in hardware, according to GSMarena. There are devices that differ slightly, like the XPERIA J and Optimus L7.
Bottom line, if there'll be say a Cyanogenmod 10 for any of those devices would it be safe to flash my Blade III with it?

EDIT : @fir1996 did u know which devices to possible port ? but there's a problem. MODEM !!! where u fail to port, ur device FULL BRICKED !!! I'M not port modem I port only kernel and ROM. my old device s3 mini full bricked to fail port s2 modem.

The best phone to port from is galaxy mega 2 i think unfortunately arter port kitkat rom of this phone but never told any body how he is the only one.

because arter and justarchi's port has same chipset devices note 2 and e210s
woow !!! mega 2 is possible yeah !!! when im free I starting to port thanks because mega 2 has exynos 4 4415 and s3 has 4412 , same cortex a9 and same mali-400 mp4 )) first trying 4.4.4 kitkat because has stock s5 features here (I like s5 camera ) and run stable to xhdpi apps
@arter97 I think give permissions because I use FIRST he's rom to port easy
EDIT : this 70% not works but I try cos mega 2 245 ppi and s3 306 ppi
EDIT 2 : Arter97's port based s3 firmware but I make base to mega 2
