Stuck on Initial Screen - Asus Transformer TF700

Hello,
Decided today after a couple months of non-use to fire up my TF700 and update it. The device has been unlocked prior and KitKat4.4.4 installed with TWRP 2.6.3 I believe.
Today I was going to put TF700 LP 5.1.1][ZOMBi-POP OMNI KANG RC2][DEC 10] on it.
Reading the instructions I saw I needed TWRP 2.8.7.4 so I booted into Fastboot and was able to load this img file.
After that I could no longer go into Recovery. It just hung on RCK (stopped flashing) and a power off was all I could do.
So then I notice that I was supposed to have boot loader 10.6.1.14.10, mine was 10.6.1.14.8.
So I believe I downloaded a kernel file instead of a bootloader and probably uploaded the wrong thing to the boot loader.
Now upon powering on the device, I see "The Device is Unlocked" at the top left of screen and the ASUS and NVDIA logos and that is all it does (regardless of the power/dn vol combo).
PC does not recognize anything is plugged into it (I assumed it wouldn't)
Any hope here, or should I toss it? (sad as it was working good, just wanted to update it).
Thanks.

Stuck at Boot Screen

Ok like an idiot I went to install the stock Asus rom over my AKOP rom using twrp. Now it just sits at the Asus logo screen and will not boot. How the hell do I fix that?
If you still have fastboot flash cwmand do it again
And if I don't have fastboot? I mean right now if I hold vol down and pwr all it does is turn the screen off. It will not boot into twrp

Turn the screen off? Screen shouldn't be on when you do it, shut it down, then hold Power+VolDown until it turns on and the white text comes up in the corner.
then you will see 3 icons choose the usb icon with Vol- and Proceed with Vol+. Then you are in fastboot.
I got it thanks! She's back up and running.
Hello,
I also have the problem to get stuck in the boot screen. I have a brand new TF300TG, only installed some apps (not unlocked, not rooted). I only made the automatic update to 9.4.4.40, after that it always stops at the boot screen.
What I already tried:
- cold boot
- wipe
- RCK (Android with rotating things shows up short, after that the Android with the warnings sign shows up)
I also downloaded the whole WW 9.4.4.40 package from ASUS and put it on a MicroSD. If I make RCK with this (if I rename the file to EP201_768_SDUPDATE.ZIP) the Android with the rotating thing shows up longer, but I still get stuck in the boot screen.
I already contacted ASUS support and will also return it to a service center, but I'm in China and expect a long process with some troubles, so I wanted to ask if anyone has another idea what I can try?
Ernst
Update:
I think it was now possible to update WW 9.4.4.40 again (renamed to EP201_768_SDUPDATE.ZIP). I now used a different MicroSD with only 2GB. The first time RCK it stopped in the middle of the update (after that the Android with the warning sign came), the second time I tried it, I think it finished, but the TF300TG still stops booting at the ASUS boot screen.
If I try now to update over MicroSD again, it doesn't work.
I have the same problem, only difference is that pressing vol down and power on makes no difference. When its on I also can't turn it off. I just have to wait until the battery is drained.
you have flashed ICS ROM in JB bootloader as far I see - hardbrick if you don't have nvflash files - only service.

Its not me Its the Drivers!!!
So I have a TFT300T, unlocked and rooted, all was fine till i decided to try another ROM. So I installed CWM no problem. Once I installed the ROM problem. I seem to be stuck at the ASUS screen. I have tried loading boot loader to do a wipe and factory reset and that simply boots me to CWM, tried the same thing there but to no avail. So researched bricked Transformer and came across the Nvflash method as well as the Asus Transformer Kit (US ONLY). However I cant proceed cause of the APX driver issue. I tried the included drivers but Win7 wasn't interested. I tried 1 desktop and two laptops, same thing. I even tried my bench tester. Now Universal_Naked_Driver_0.72 seems to install but no communication between the PC and the tab with this driver.
I tried bootloader to try a fastboot command but then the Device manager demands a driver for "Transformer". Same issue. Tried downloading from Asus plus a couple on the web. It seems its the Tablet. I thought to try CWM and an sdcard but it doesn't give me the option to mount it. So if any one knows a fix I would be forever grateful.

I also found the asus transformer kit(us only). But the same problem. I am able to connect my tablet with apx mode, in my device manager I see apx device. but in the tutorials it says that I have to force install de driver, but I don't know which driver to install. I tried the asus driver and every file in the asus transformer kit but nothing. I triend the universal_naked_driver but I can't get it to install can anyone tell me how to proper install that?

Am I bricked?

So I made the mistake of installing Clockwork recovery mod when I installed Rom Manager on accident. Stupid mistake. I tried getting into recovery after that and it would hang right after pressing volume up at 5 secs. I did a normal restart of the tablet and decided to do a factory reset and see if i could restart with with and install TWRP. I ran the factory reset and restarted my tablet when prompted. This is when the issue started and now I'm stuck at the boot screen, the first screen you see when you start up. So i tried to start it up into recovery and it still wont budge. whats weird is it doesn't ask to press vol up it just says "Android cardhu-user bootloader <2.10 e> released by "US_epad-9.4.5.26-20120720" A03. Checking for android ota recovery. Booting recovery kernal image." Yet nothing happens. So am I bricked... is there any way out of this. My bootloader is unlocked and i am rooted... am i screwed? I read somewhere I might be able to fastboot, but is that possible if i cant get into recovery?
UPDATE: After doing some research I discovered that it might be possible using the NVflash method using site below but unfortunately NVflash is not compatible with the tf700 atm. Meanwhile I have submitting a ticket to asus but i do think NVflash would be my only hope if it actually worked for me.
androidroot.mobi/2011/06/13/nvflash-on-asus-transformer/
NVFlash will *not* work on the TF700 - others have tried - it will probably make your situation even worse.
I don't know the answer to your question off-hand, but I'm sure someone will be able to provide a method to get you back up - just stay away from NVFlash on the TF700...

[Q] What to do? Unlocked TF300T hanging at ASUS screen

Whether my device is soft bricked or fully, i do not have the slightest. It accepts a charge but will not boot past the "This Device is UnLocked ASUS INSPIRING INNOVATION ....."" Screen nor will it boot into the RCK, Fastboot, menu.
Heres what happened:
I am on the JB Bootloader running CM10 Nightly-11.17 . This happened after upgrading to TWRP 2.3.1 and using terminal on my linux computer to push the TWRP 2.2.1.blob(as I was having issues with the Google Play Store saying it wasnt installed, despite the fact it was) So... I renamed the openrecovery-twrp-2.2.1 to twrp.blob (as per the directions on the TWRP website and look to have successfully pushed the lower version but now I am at a loss. I have yet to let it run completely out of battery but since i have voided the warranty I am not sure what to do. I can hold the power down and press the top volume button to turn it off but i cant boot into the screen with RCK, fastboot, and the other images.
Please help! I appreciate any advice you guys my have. Thanks

I might already know my answer, but...

I have an Asus tf700t that i rooted a long time ago and was running Cromi-x 5.something. I also have TWRP recovery installed.
I can't even remember the details now but at one point about 12 months ago, i when to do a wipe & flash (which i did many times and I felt very confident doing with TWRP) and something went wrong.
All my tablet does now is turn on and flash at the TeamWin screen, that's it. I've allowed for the battery to drain, I've attempted holding the volume key in to boot into recovery, I've removed the SD card...nothing seems to get me un stuck.
I attached my tablet to my pc (which now is windows 8.1 x64) and all I get is an Unknown Transformer device. I have attempted to download and install the google SDK kit along with the original items i used to root my device, none of them seem to "click in".
Am I looking at a dead unit here?
cheers,
Dave
Did you use Wipe Data from the bootloader menu?
If yes, you may be in a forced reboot to recovery loop.
First thing to try is to connect the tablet to power and leave it in TWRP. If you're lucky it'll sort it out and eventually execute the wipe data command. I would leave it for 8 hours or so....
Can you get into the bootloader = fastboot mode?
When in TWRP do you get it recognized with
Code:
adb devices
?

[Q] I think I have bricked my Asus TF700T Help!

I have messed around with all my electronics in the passed, rooted them, put custom roms etc. with no trouble. So after getting frusterated with my Asus TF700T, I decided it was time to put Cyanogenmod on it. I read up on the forums and it recommended TWRP, I have always used clockwork mod but because TWRP was recommended I used that. I followed the directions and rebooted to the startup and it is stuck on the Cyanogenmod startup screen. So thinking that maybe it was just taking a long time because it was the first time, I waited and waited and waited. 24 hours later still stuck on the startup screen. I decided to try again, I pressed the power button and the volume down button and this is what I see:
Key driver not found.. Booting OS
Android cardhu-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "US_epad-10.6.1.14.10-20130801" A03
Starting Fastboot USB Download Protocol
Than I have 3 choices to choose from: RCK, Android, and wipe data
When I press volume up once to select RCK I get a message stating:
Booting Recovery Kernel image
Booting Failed
Unrecoverable bootloader error <0x00000000>. (This part is in red)
After reading I decided to try tranformer tool kit. So I put the tablet into APX mode. Seems to work, tablet restarts with a blank screen, the computer makes the appropriate noises expected when it detects the tablet, but when I check ADB I get a message ADB is not working or communicating with your pad. Evidently I screwed things up somewhere but I don't know where to go from here... Please, If anyone can help, It would be so appreciated.
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Good luck
I sounds like the recovery flash failed. If you haven't already, I would try to re-flash TWRP through ADB and fastboot.
If you aren't sure how to do that through ADB use this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688891
Its the beginners guide in the general section.
I may be wrong here, but I've taken my TF700 from the brink of death and back again a few times.
What TWRP version did you flash and how???
The unrecoverable bootloader error is not good news. Usually you need a buster99 to get your tablet back - if you still can get into the bootloader and fastboot.
If you can, follow the instructions below to the letter (naturally you have to flash the TF700 system blob, not the TF300!), then flash a compatible recovery and a rom compatible with your recovery and bootloader. And if you're not sure ask first, then flash....

Ummmm let me take a wild guess what customer support will advise:
Sorry you unlocked so no warranty but send it in and for $300 we may repair it. If we can't we only charge you for shipping both ways.
Nice to see you, Asus! Where've you been the last 2 years?

Hush! @Asus_USA wanted to anounce the roll-out of Android Lollipoop for ASUS Transformers. Or was it the source code of bootloader?

Yeah - I had that dream too one time or another....
Hi all, I just encountered this same error message for the TF700T when going into fastboot mode
Key driver not found.. Booting OS
Android cardhu-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "US_epad-10.6.1.14.10-20130801" A03
Starting Fastboot USB Download Protocol
All I have done is unlock the tablet. I was on the "Practice/Background" step in berndblb's (awesome) custom ROM guide before starting to load up fastboot and adb, when I saw the message in the upper left corner. When I go into RCK, "booting recovery kernel image" then appears under the error message. After 3-4 seconds I get the dead android with "error!" screen. When I power off, the tablet goes into normal bootup and the stock ROM still works perfectly fine.
Since it does, is there something I should do to resolve this issue BEFORE trying to push TWRP to the tablet? Just trying to be prudent...
Many thanks,
MM
Every Asus tablet I have seen has the "key driver not found" on boot - ignore it.
The dead Droid also is perfectly normal. It's the stock recovery not finding a firmware file to flash. Just keep going
