Hi,
I have a Samsung S III Mini, and I was wondering if I could put a custom rom on and remove it later?
i have to get a new phone in September and may have to trade it in. I have also just managed to use Odin to fully remove root but I am happy to install it again need be. If anyone could answer this question then it would be appreciated greatly.
Also if anyone could give any links to installing (and possibly removing) a Custom rom on a S3 Mini it would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hello Guys,
I wanted to install S5 rom on my S4 Gt-i9505. So, i firstly tried to root it with Kingo Root but i think i couldnot root it completely. Now, when i talk over phone it shuts down etc etc.
Plz help me can i install S5 rom or should I go to previous rom (how can I???).
Any help will be appriciated
Hello. The first thing I would advice is to get your device working correctly before proceeding any further. Secondly I would highly suggest never to flash a Rom that is not specifically for your device. Meaning, do not try to flash an S5 Rom on your device. Unless of course it has been ported over. The links below should help you get your S4 up, and running again. Best of luck .

Hello. I am in need of deleting an OS/ROM I installed on my device. I was trying to fix my Samsung Galaxy S3, and installed a ROM with a really crappy kernel, so now it doesn't work in any useful manner. Since I don't have an SD card, and can't install a new kernel, I was wondering how I could delete the OS, so it is soft bricked in order for me to re-install a better OS/ROM? I have what I believe is a better ROM, but I can't override the one I have installed with Odin, as it says FAIL!. Please help me, I am desperate to fix this phone, and I need to completely restore it to original STOCK functionality, so I can use it again. If you can help me reset the phone, and get it up and running again, that would be amazing. If you can please walk me through resetting it, installing a new ROM, and Kernel if possible, I will give you my soul ( or a Thanks!).
Info:
-Samsung Galaxy S3
-Not Connected to a Carrier ( Pay as you go thing)
-Model: SGH-I747
-United States
-Was Rooted, Then Soft Bricked during an Update , Then This Mess
-Android Version 4.3
-Kernel Version 3.0.31-2024954
-Build Number JSS15J.I747UCUEMJB
-Currently NOT rooted
Things I can't do:
-Use an SD card, I don't have one, and I am broke
-Sodder or mess with the phones internals
Please, if you can, provide links and instructions, I am out of options.

Cool. Thanks!
Thank you, thread closed.
Is there currently a way to do a complete ROM backup before rooting, before flashing a custom recovery to be exact? After loading a custom recovery on my Sprint Galaxy Note 3 it immediately triggers the KNOX security feature. I would like the option of reverting without the security feature being flagged. Thank you for your time!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.

Good Luck and happy rooting!
I just flashed a custom ROM and my phone gets stuck at the Samsung screen. That is no problem, as i will download a new one on my SD and flash it to fix the problem.
And so, I need the most stable custom ROM for i9300. Most crash on Injustice and Hearthstone, which I really enjoy playing. I have already tried CM and Dirty Unicorns, but neither are good enough.
Any suggestions?

Guys please help me. I really need it. I was about to root my galaxy V. i rooted it using odin, but after the process, my phone won't install a custom rom. Then I tried rooting it again. It failed, and now even the RECOVERY MODE doesn't open. The screen just shows GALAXY V then turns to rainbow colors. What can I do to fix this problem?
