[Completed] error 2004 on sp flash tools need help - XDA Assist

somebody already post a thread about this it seems but when i go read it, it doesn"t seem to say anything about it or it was edited already. anyway i need help with this error. just tried about everything i read in other places on how to solve this but there seems to be no solution to it. i think this is one of those problems asked in the net with a lot of answers given (almost all the same) but was really not solved. and if you"re going to tell me to change cable or port or install vcom drivers, i have done that and dtill error 2004. i have tried every version there is of sp flash tools and error 2004 is still the result. there are about four or five people i read who has the same problem, one even used three computers, but they were all unable to fix it there is just no communication between sp fllash tool and the tablet or phone. anyway i am not expecting any answers on this thread. i am thinking seriously of the last recourse which is to strike this damn tablet with a hammer and problem solved. thank you for any help i can get.

Help with rooting my HTC Sensation

I`ve tried for one week now to root my phone. I`ve read all help that you can get from the forum but it still doesn`t work... Please does somebody have any ideas..?? Sometimes when I connect the usb it disconnects by it selfs..Thanx for the help
Stupid buttons...I'm so used to my other forums' reply being where the thanks button is I didnt even look...
Anyways, some more info would be helpful here. OS that you are working off of? Have you post the issues you are getting in the actual temp-root thread (you've got the post count to do that)? Have you seen that there are now a couple different methods to root the phone (one is temporary, the other appears to be permanent)?

Bricked A110 - Calling for help

Hi Guys,
Calling for help,
Post flashing new ROM, android device has got bricked (no offence to ROM, I’m sure it’s just my ignorance that has caused it).
Device isn’t responding, tried flashing SP tool, installed drive devices no luck what so ever, in fact SP tool doesn’t detect the device. As an alternate downloaded volcano & Miracle app just to realise that he does require hardware, which i don’t own.
Now before banging my head to the near wall , can somebody please advise if there is anything else i should give it as a try?
Any thoughts/suggestion would be appreciated. It has been 2 frustrating days since trying to jig with the device in bricked condition.
Thanks in advance

Yaar, you have 13 post of which none for brick.I suppose your are referring to this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2376667) which is for soft brick. Hard brick implies your phone cant be turned on.
If im wrong than i would request you to share the thread which are referring to.
thanks in advance.

if sp flash tool doesnt detect device then manually install vcom driver as explained below

[Completed] [Q] Could we please start a forum specifically for ZTE Supreme/Vital/Quantum/N9810?

I've been searching for info specifically for rooting/CWM'ing/ROM'ing this phone for a couple of weeks now and this device seems to be the bastard child of the Android world. If I owned a ZTE Blade I would be fine already. I know that help for this device exists somewhere, but using the XDA search tool doesn't pull up anything. I've searched for "Supreme", "Vital", "Quantum", ZTE in general, etc, etc, and the only thing that comes up is the LG Quantum which is obviously no help at all. And it seems that none of the other Android "help" sites have any better luck with specific information for this device (it's always a "this works for most devices, but your mileage may vary" kind of thing).
Basically I broke my phone from Virgin Mobile, bought a cheap used one in good condition off of eBay, but unfortunately the new one is tied to Sprint. Doing an ADB backup/restore from one device to the other does not copy over any of the carrier information so that was no help. It appears that this info would be copied over with a Nandriod backup, but I can't do this until I install CWM. I can't use ROM Manager to flash in a CWM image because this is not a "supported" device. I've tried using fastboot but it just waits forever for the device to connect whether I have the ZTE or Google USB drivers installed. I've tried flash_image but it throws an error saying the recovery partition was not found. I've tried just about every solution I can find any hint of anywhere online and I'm at the end of my rope. The only good news is that I was at least able to root my device using KingRoot! It's everything after that which has been the problem... I'm hoping somebody here can point out a link to a GOOD source for exactly how to at least load CWM for this specific device so I can get Nandroid going. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind experimenting with building this from source myself, and I'm sorry for taking the lazy approach and asking for somebody else to do the grunt work, but I work 12-16 hours a day and just don't have the brainpower available to deal with this right now. I just want my phone back!
As a second item, I would very much like at some point to play with loading Lollipop on this device. I've found a link which on the surface seems to have good info, but then when you try to download the image they hold the data hostage and expect you to "complete these dozen offers". NO, I'm not going to give them all of my personal info, and I'm also not going to jump through their bs marketing hoops. But anyway, this is entirely secondary to getting my replacement phone up and running. The link to this info I found is:
cwm-twrp-recovery.org/2015/03/zte-vital-n9810-5511.html
Copious thanks in advance for helping me to keep my sanity!

Unbricking Issues, Help please. (Sahara fail) [Qfil, MiFlash, OPO Recovery Tool]

I've been going at this for 24 hours straight, trying to figure out how to unbrick my OPO. I got the OPO Recovery tool to work once, but it lost power on CM11 when I was installing the SuperSU from the play store through TWRP's automated process. Now when I try to flash with any tool, I simply get "Sahara" displayed in some form or another. The OPO recovery tool still logs that the OPO is fine, however, the device is completely bricked, no boot, no recovery, nothing, no vibrations, etc.
Here are the results of my attempted flashes through various tools.

Any help on the topic would be extremely appreciated, I really didn't mean to brick my phone, the only reason it happened was because I accidentally wiped everything, including internal storage when flashing BlissPop, oops. However, I am also very confident in the Snapdragon 801 and its invincibility when it comes to bricking.

Sadly nothing in that thread works, if you'd bothered to read my post you'd understand that nothing, no method to what is detailed in that thread is possible for me. It's not even slightly relevant to the sahara error.

I'm taking time out of my day to try to help you and that's the response I get? I did bother to read your post. I guess I won't bother attempting to help you any further, I've successfully helped many people unbrick their devices though. Good luck with your phone, I hope you revive it.

You didn't try hard to do anything. You gave me a standard, measley response with no thought to my actual dilemma. I'm a new member, I won't be staying. I'm not trying to start an argument with you, stop being petty. I literally said that everything in that thread didn't work by my original post. Do you really think I haven't followed that thread in and out, I've read every single page for a solution to my problem, I didn't come here to get a repost to an article that doesn't help me. People who ask for a solution to the sahara issue here get ignored, which is why I'm attempting to get an actual answer out of someone.
@PikuChan
i am also facing same sahara issue when i am trying to unbrick my mobile which has qualcomm chipset,i searched everywhere in the net but not find solution ,firstly i want to know why sahara error occurs is it because of drivers problem or is it because of rom, experts please help us to get out of this sahara storm(i mean error)...

There are many of us with this issue, sadly. I, for one, have exhausted all the known methods for reviving this phone, but when the Sahara error comes up all the listed methods do not work. I have used the standard method listed in this forum to revive one of these devices and it worked flawlessly. However, this one I'm trying to revive just refuses to work, always throwing this Sahara error and then everything stops. I would appreciate if anyone else who knows how to help us can chip in, or do we just conclude that the device is gone forever? This is XDA folks... There's always a way...
Thanks everyone.
HELP:::!!!!

Is there any solution to this error?
I had a glimmer of hope when I read the threads about unbricking the opo.

Boot Loop - Can get into Recovery

I can get into P0010UU_V16 but thats it. Reset and clearing everyting gets me no where. When i restart, i get the White boot screen with Blu, then it turns off. Sometimes i get a flash of a matrix looking green lines but that is it. I can't get it to recognize on my PC either when plugged in unless I put it in ADB mode i can get it to show up as a MT65xx Android Phone. I have tried the "SP Flash Tool" but it does nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks for no help! Maybe a check this thread with a link? i don't need the passive aggressive response. I was using the unbrick thread already...
who's the one being passive aggressive? read the thread... its not my job to spoon feed you... look who posted tons of help in those threads... ME
I've already helped more than just you. oh but wait... since YOU need help, by all means let me retype all of the stuff i already typed, in that thread and put it here... JUST FOR YOU....
when your main question is "i already did a thing, and it didn't work" when you obviously haven't even attempted to read the thread, to gain the knowledge of how to do the thing correctly... there is EXACT problem you are having, and how to fix it... no im not going to dig through it for you, I had to learn how, so do you... and i told you EXACTLY what to do...
so good job getting on the bad side of the guy who could have helped you, by being entitled ... no one here works for you, and we help those who help themselves... or at least have enough sense to research their issue and maybe read a little before acting like we owe you...
"MOOOMMMMMY I WANT TENDIES... TENDIES FOR MY TUM TUM"
check THIS Thread
edit since you did...
Wanna know how I know you arent reading that thread? If you were there are step by step instructions... there's even alternate fixes... I am not going to tie your shoes for you; especially after you got all butthurt...
all the information is there... including...
I will throw you a bone... you prolly are doing 1 of 2 things wrong...
1. dont have the right drivers for the MT chipset (the one that "pops up in device manager" as you said (yet anopther clue to you not reading the thread)
2. you arent using the correct procedure for SP flash tool...
the fact you can get into recovery even opens you up to another possibility to fix (and also points out the fact you arent reading the thread, 3 so far...)
All you need to do is read... it isnt 100000 posts...
Ill even make it easier yet... maybe search my post history.... Maybe me saying I typed it elseware was yet ANOTHER hint...
