Cloudy G3 supports all variants, also some people have had no problems flashing other roms, just flash a D850 kernel, i came from CM11 to miui, but its didnt have the right kernel, all it did was just black screen, i could go into recovery no problem, im probably going to download the D855 lollipop and D850 kernel today

Hi there
New to posting here, but I've been a reader for a few years.
I'm wondering if people in the know could help me out. I'm looking to purchase a new device and I'm looking pretty hard at the G Flex 2 (its really cheap).
The model is a LG G Flex2 4G LTE H959 varient with 2gb of RAM.
Has this model received an update to Lollipop 5.1.1 yet? How is it's performance? I see wildly differing reviews online.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Yes it does, it's a lot better with 5.1.1
There is a thread here about it
Ugh sorry I missed that.
The thread is talking about updating via flashing KDZ files?
Isn't the update available via OTA?
My HK version still hasn't received it OTA if it helps.

The OTA is still not released and KDZ seems to not be published by LG as well because of a message from your phone when you boot it.. But it works just fine so

It's for the Indian dualsim style
Posted it here for the dev's to take a look at it and create something for all pure and style owners to benefit.
If you do decide to flash it...I'm not responsible for the outcome.

Flashing it on a single-sim version won't brick it. There are several people doing it because they want to get dual-sim working. I am currently making a backup and trying to flash it on a german 1572.
Like I said. I'm not responsible.
Sent from my XT1575 using XDA Free mobile app
Downloading and backing up current rom.
Edit:
Getting this error: error executing updater binary in zip
Will take a closer look at this.
Like i mentioned, this rom is for the Indian dualsim version and probably won't work on other style/pure phones
Sent from my XT1575 using XDA Free mobile app
And I repeat: It doesn't brick the device! It's the same like with the Moto X Play. You can also flash on a single sim device a dual sim rom.
Where did I mention anything about bricking?
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Oky to explain what changes for a single sim Version: you get a menu for dual sim, but the options change nothing.
Hi @alex1301. I am from Australia. I have a single Sim XT1572. Can you point me in the direction of how to flash the new Indian OTA zip going around? Was there any complications doing it on your European XT1572?
Also do you know what is the safe way to make a backup of my stock 5.1.1 rom in case I brick it and need to try and flash a back? I am familiar with Nexus phones but unsure how this works with Motorolas. Thanks!
The problem at the moment is that it doesn't flash correctly because it only patches existing files. We need to wait for someone who makes a backup of an updated factory resetted marshmallow rom.

I just upgrade to H960A30b KZ. I tried to do it with LG Bridge no way then with Lgup _ Uppercat the operation get succeed.
My first impression is the Atr and EU version are similar except :
Radio FM is appear in 30b instead Atr
Radio band are surely better in Atr than EU version, because first the network was always 4,5 g every where, tested where i leave and was not a fake, suddenly now with EU 30b is 4g and sometimes 4+.
That' all folks for now... To be continued..

The battery health is so great with EU version, more better than Atr.
But still missing the fantastic Atr Radio Band...
