[Q] Custom Recovery without Triggering KNOX? - Sprint Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I figured I would give this a *bump* - is there any way to remove the KNOX bootloader without triggering something? I've been searching the forums for a few days and can't find anything that isn't from around 2014.
Thanks in advance!

Knox AND Root possible??

Is it possible to root my S4 with saferoot, and also keep Knox functionality? Or does Knox completely invalidate rooting?
Thanks!
Any takers?
I figured this would be an easy question for someone, am tied to wanting both knox and root. Mostly for the secure partitioning. Someone has to know something. Thanks!

Samsung Galaxy s7 Locked Bootloader help

I need to know if there are any solutions on how to crack this sgs7 to gain root access. If not now, then does anyone (like the top notch coders that are totally in depth with hacking phones etc) know if it'll be made possible to root. I'd absolutely love to gain root access on this phone. Im sure a lot of people are fuming right now.. As am. I. Any help will he greatly appreciated on this subject
You can learn all you need to know in the AT&T AND T-mobile S7 and S7 Edge forums. They have active discussions going about the state of the bootloader.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that someone did try kingoroot and it did not work.
Supposedly someone has got root, but I guess we're still waiting for confirmation from a reputable dev.
Any word about hellsgod91? About root?
dude chill out. when and if the root comes out you'll know about it. trust me.
I apologize in advance for my ignorance on the subject matter at hand, however, I lost many pictures on my S7 (stored to the internal memory of the phone) and have been diligently attempting to recover them since Friday. Is it possible to recover them without the root? I have tried a number of software (rooting and recovery) and nothing has worked.... I started researching a few things and found the locked bootlander to be the reason it will not root and recover? Is this correct and if so, is there any possible way around this? I am truly shocked that I haven't bricked my phone yet with all I have tried. My email is [email protected] should anyone have any suggestions or valuable help. I am desperate!
I wish someone would just create an app that can unlock bootloader and such models such as the SM-G930P SGS7. Patience.. Yes I know.

N00b question about Knox, Root, Sim Unlock and 5.1.1 (DOJ7)

Hey guys, thanks in advance for your help.
I am not new to rooting, but I'm new to T-Mobile S6 G920T, so I had few questions.
Some info about the phone:
Knox status is 0 (not tripped)
SIM Locked to T-Mobile
Firmware: DOJC (g920tuvu3dojC)
I recently bought this phone refurbished, and I have hard time finding the answers I'm looking for in the forums (I've spent about 4+ Hrs in searching so far)
So my questions are:
1) Is there a "non-root" way to SIM unlock this phone? I tried using the "cable" method from unlockbase, but it looks like they can't implement the temp root method, and therefore it doesn't work
2) It doesn't look like there is currently a way to root the phone with this firmware without tripping KNOX, is this correct? Can I downgrade?
3) Is the bootloader of this phone unlocked? I see that there is an OEM Unlocking option, but some users are saying that this doesn't do anything on DOJC (The primary reason why I bought this model was the notion that T-Mobile has unlocked bootloader)?
4) What happens if I trip KNOX, it looks like I can still flash the original firmware, but the counter will still show 1+ instead of 0 - is this correct? Or rather - is there a fool-roof way to flash new firmware and reverting back to the old one with clean KNOX if needed?
Bonus Question) What is a good 6.0 Rom to flash in my case? Are there SIM Unlocked ones? What about CM13 - if I flash it, I lose TouchWiz along with some of the apps and possibly the FingerPrint scanner?
Thanks for your attention,
A.
hi
ad.4 Knox show +1 so You broke warranty - Im new on s6 (I will buy soon) so I don't look about it yet but I think You have to try find KNOX reset (De-Knoxer) or something like that.
Look on the threads about ROOT or Recovery - maybe into is the KNOX subject.
[EDIT]
Try it from THIS thread. Maybe works.
Sorry for my bad En.
No known way to revert Knox to 0, once it`s triped, there was a ping pong root available on 5.0.2, which didn`t trip knox, but 5.1.1 and later root methods always trip knox, and there is no successfull way of downgrading to 5.0.2 that I heard of.

Root method without tripping knox?

The title is pretty self explainatory. Any known rooting method of the SM-A530F without tripping the knox efuse?
Thank you for answering.
Unfortunately not. The only way to avoid trusted boot to trip the warranty bit is by using signed binaries, and 'till now we can't sign custom binaries since we don't have Samsung's signature keys. Cheers!
Thanks for answering mate. Cheers!

Trying to achieve root. Help?

Hello All,
I've had this device for a year and a half now and I still have yet to find a reasonable and reliable FREE way to root or get another rom on here. My bootloader is still locked and I'm on latest system update. Has there been any recent success with unlocking bootloader? There isn't a free way to do this? This tablet would be awesome if I could just get stock Android on here...I hate emui! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
