So today I was using my phone and then i could turn the screen back on. So i pulled out the battery and tried to turn it back on, however it didnt work. I tried plugging in the charger, but there wasn't any orange charging light (it was on around 60-50% battery when it stopped working). I tried connecting it to a pc, but there was nothing, i couldnt access the sd card and there was nothing on the device manager. I tried doing the volume down and power button and other stuff, after a while i managed to get the phone to boot up but it died before it made it to the lock screen (not charging). Is there away to fix it?

Try removing your battery and then plug in the cable connected to PC USB. I would also try doing the same with a unix based system, just to be sure that there are no driver issues(though windows should at least show an unrecognised device in device manager).
Also, can you keep it on charge for some time and see if the phone feels a bit hot...? If not, it seems to be hardware fault.

Maybe your phone is bricked, but the way you explained it seems like a hardware problem !
Do you have warranty ?
Woke up one morning and the phone was stuck on the startup screen. Turned it off, and when I rebooted, it still was stuck on the startup screen. Then, after a day or two, it would not reboot at all. no red light when plugged in charger. also when its plugged to pc, pc is making sounds like its plugged and then unplugged many times. is it possible to fix it? or its dead motherboard?
Are you able to access the bootloader?? By pressing volume down and the power on button simultaneously while no cable is connected to the phone?
So I decided to update to OTA 4.1 today and finally got everything to work (but did not connect to the internet). I got home, connect to my home wifi, and left to charge. Came back from dinner with a dead tablet without a battery charging screen nor ability to turn on the tablet (long hold power or long hold power + vol down). any suggestion on what I can try to do?
[UPDATE]
Left the tablet plug in over night..seems to be fully charged, per the green LED charge light. However, still refuses to power on. This is the old B1 battery tablet. Assuming that I forgot to flash the nomoreota.zip and the kill switch is activated, will the tablet refuse to turn on?

Technically, the tablet does turn on, but the kill switch modifies the staging partition so it can't boot anything.
darn.
Hello people
I made some settings on cenovo mini pc 2 bios and now i have no video exit on hdmi.
When i turn on, looks like working but nothing on tv
The cenovo support don't answer my email
I need to reset bios to defaults
I disconnect the battery for days but nothing...
any help on this?
thanks
Same thing happened to me. What I did was disconnect the battery. Plug in the power while holding the power button for around 10 seconds (maybe more) until the blue light went off. After taking my finger off the power button, I pressed and held the button until the blue light came on and the sucker booted up. Hope that helps.
MWA.
Anybody know how to set the bios to auto start when I plug in? Without physically pressing the power on button? No normal bios configuration that I can see? Any help greatly appreciated

I also change som video setting in BIOS and had no video on HDMI output.
It is possible to reset it, but I can not tell yuo how. I already did it two times, but each time after two hours of experimentation. You have to play with power button (long holding and clicking) after unplug and plug again power cable. Getting red light is definitely step towards success. I hold your thumbs.
Also need to reset my bios, since my unit is not booting properly, blue led keeps blinking.
Any suggestion?

Hello. The pc has restarted. I left it unplugged at night, and in the morning I turned it on and it worked.

Have to try that, mine has been unplugged for several weeks now
Hi guys, made a similar mistake apparently.
Story:
Tried to reuse that Cenovo Mini PC II as ioBroker server for smart home.
Installed CentOS 7 onto it, install went fine, first boot = Kernel issue.
Installed Ubuntu 18.04 live server, all went through, first boot = Errors a la "Cannot enable port 1. Maybe the USB cable is bad".
Now i have no USB enabed and therefor i cant use a keyboard and do nothing.
Tried a BIOS setting found in a launchpad, now apparently the system boots very well in Ubuntu till Login screen = but no USB keyboard. Cannot do anything, as SSHD isnt running yet.
xHCI handoff - Disabled
EHCI handoff - Disabled

Apparently i disabled something i shouldnt have done.
The tips on resetting the BIOS in this thread here didnt helped yet.
Did anyone come across the actual repeatable way of resetting the BIOS on that Cenovo?
Unfortunately, I’m in the same situation. Does some of you maybe have some tips how to reset the cmos? Already tried by holding the powerbutton & pressing some times, but without success. Hope somebody had a magic tip for me.
Thank your very much!
Regards, Tom
My phone's battery has been bad for a while now, and its just been sitting in a desk for about a year. I replaced the battery since my sister wanted to use it and upon turning on the phone again, I am getting screen feedback but only in the form of a black screen. I don't see any bootup screens, even if I try to go into recovery mode. Once again, the screen still lights up black if I do things like plug in the charger or press the power button. I've reseated the display cable and battery cable but to no avail. HiSuite recognizes that it's plugged in (although I can't do anything because HDB is disabled). Anyone have any ideas on why the screen is dead?
Make sure all connections are firmly connected.
