Hello everybody
I need help. I got a rooted LG CLASS H605 (or so) and installed TWRP some weeks ago. Since then on my boot Screen is written secure booting error [....] 1003. That didn't bother me because it didn't seem to affect my Smartphone. Today I tried to hard reset my phone but it didn't work, I think because of the secure booting error. THen I installed an application from the Google Play sore that should reset my phone. The application work like this : You press the big red "start" button and after 60 seconds, the device would reboot and reset to buy-status. Now this didn't work either and the phone rebootet normaly. But the application still thinks that it has to reset the phone and after 60 seconds it will reboot again and again and again... So I got one Minute to fix the Problem before it will fail. The bomb is ticking.
Please help
I have a LG Class too, LG Class F620L. I've rooted it but i can't access to Recovery mode. Some one help me, plz

Hey XDA,
I have a D800 that is totally stock. I have no custom recovery, and have never rooted the device.
A couple days ago I got the notification for an OTA update. I hit the notification, and rebooted the phone. It started the update process. It got through the first step. When it started the second part of the update, a black box popped up, and a code like "ERR 0x04ff" or something like that popped up. The phone rebooted, and got stuck in a boot loop with a "Security Error." The phone will boot up, show the LG logo, then show a slightly different LG logo with "Security Error" underneath it, then reboot and start the process over. I started messing around with the power button and volume keys to see what different modes I could boot it into. Initially I could boot it to the Factory data reset screen, the Hardware Mode Keys screen, and I got it into Download mode once. I didn't have any of the software or files available at the time to do anything with Download mode, so I opted to try a Factory reset. The phone attempted a Factory Reset. The little android with wiggly ears, and the spinny cube thingy popped up for about 4 seconds, and the phone rebooted.
Since trying that initial Factory Reset, I have been unable to get the phone into Download mode. I've tried doing the Factory Reset multiple times to no avail. I have not seen fastboot at all.
At this point, the only thing I can do with the phone is boot it to the Factory Data Reset screen, and to the Hardware Keys Mode screen. It will not do a factory reset. The android pops up for about 1-2 seconds, and the phone reboots, and goes right back to the boot loop with the security error.
I'm at a loss at this point. I've called AT&T, and unfortunately my phone is out of warranty by about 3 weeks. So they can't just mail me a replacement. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to get it to be recognized by my PC, on Windows or Ubuntu. I get the feeling that it's just hard bricked, and there really isn't anything else I can try.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
TL-DR: Totally stock D800, no custom recovery or root. Security Error Boot Loop after OTA attempt. No download mode or fastboot, factory reset is ineffective. Not recognized by PC. What do I do now?

Thanks for the reply. I was about to reply saying my phone wouldn't go into download mode, but then I randomly decided to use a different usb port, and now it went into download mode.
I'll give it a shot now and see what i can do
Ok, It seems I'm back up and running. I followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 which re-flashed me to 4.2.2. I'm going to try and upgrade using LG PC Suite from my laptop, and see if I have better luck this time.
Lesson learned, try every USB port when trying to boot into download mode.
Thanks for the help
I am really not sure what happened to the phone but I will tell all I did that might have connection to the current sitiuation.
I rooted the phone a while back , no issues with root.
As internal memory is low on this phone (4 gbs) I used link2SD.I have used in past with other phones never had a issue but this time the apps which were linked magically disappeared and some wont start saying " Application has stopped working " , So I decided to , oh wait I forgot I also had TWRP custom recovery on this phone too , no issues happened with it either, yet. So I decided to restore to a backup I made with TWRP a few days ago, I have previously done this thing and it worked perfectly unlike this time.I booted to recovery then restored to that backup but when I booted back the device wouldn't start! All it was showing was the boot screen(circles moving in weird pattern) I waited around 3 hours then I decided to factory reset , I took out the battery (BAM I did a mistake here I guess) went to recovery did a normal factory reset then again I was at the boot screen looking at circles This time I gave a around 10 hours but it still didnt load up , then I took out the battery again next what I see it when I try to start my phone NOTHING WILL HAPPEN only screen turns on for like few miliseconds showing only back screen (NO KARBON LOGO OR ANYTHING) and goes off again. I tried pressing Vol Up and choose recovery mode but it wont let me go in recovery it turns off again as soon I choose okay (RECOVERY DONT LOAD AT ALL NOT EVEN THE LOGO). Please explain what happened to phone and how can I fix it. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

So, I am fairly new to rooting and flashing roms, but I have done it successfully a few times. This past time, I flashed Cloudy Flex and everything was fine until my messaging was not working. After a quick google search I found a solution that said I needed to purge my internal memory cache and relfash the rom. I took this as wiping my internal memory and I went in to recovery to wipe everything before I flashed. When I got back into recovery, however, my rom was no longer there. I then made the mistake of rebooting my only to find that it can not get passed the LG logo. I also am unable to turn the phone off or enter recovery using the power and volume button. Any advice is helpful as I am stuck. When I attempt to enter either recovery or download mode, the screen remains black and the LED flashes red.

If you can't access recovery or download mode then your phone has become an expensive paper weight. You should take it to a service centre for a final verdict.
Hey, my phone has been playing up and generally malfunctioning lately. It seems to work fine for a day or so before freezing, and either rebooting itself or forcing me to manually reboot it using power + volume down. This seems to send it into a bootloop where it generally freezes during the Samsung animation with the pulsing squares. This sequence continues with me manually rebooting, also trying to boot to safe mode and to recovery and after various attempts, i successfully got into recovery without it freezing on the blue android.
I then decided to factory reset as a last option, having looked around on forums for solutions. However, I now do not know what to do as it seems to have frozen during the factory reset. I dont have screenshots but the script reads as follows :
dm-verity verification failed. . .
-- Wiping data. . .
Formatting /data. . .
Formatting /cache. . .
It has been on that for the past 30 minutes and so i have assumed it has frozen. I'm afraid to force another reboot in case it is accessing memory, any suggestions on what to do?
It is up to date on fully stock software, has never been rooted and i have never attempted to do so. Also only around a month old.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
I did not try to perform a factory reset yet, but my S6 shows the same instability issues.
Random self reboots with getting stuck at the boot animation.
I furthermore cannot enter the stock recovery mode (get stuck at full cyan screen with android logo), only can access the ODIN mode atm.
Booting that device atm is a hit and miss.
(everything stock, never touched that device in the XDA way! )
Update: I had to repair my S6 as instability increased even more.
Samsung licensed repair shop exchanged the mainboard of my S6.
All is fine again (except wireless charging, but I guess they broke it while repairing)
I bought my phone about 3 months ago (Gionee p5w) and i had no custom roms installed. Yesterday i saw that there is a system update available. I think i rooted my phone using king root(not sure of version). Update on my phone wouldnt install... so i factory reset without clearing the phone memory thats when problem arised, nothing was reset except the text size setting. So i thought of going into factory mode to reset my phone and started phone with vol up and power key pressed . Factory mode didnt show up and now i am stuck in a bootloop. It shows bootloader logo and restarts again and again. I cant even go to normal mode and start my phone. I remember booting into factory mode when i bought it. Please help me fix it

Hello & welcome to xda-assist,
first of, we don't provide technical support here our job is to direct you through the boards here on xda-developers.
When you root your phone system updates will cause serious problems if you don't unroot before and revert all changes on system partition. So bootloop was expected to happen.
Only cure for that would be to reflash your phone's firmware, to find A) the appropriate firmware for your phone model and B) lern how to flash on your phone I would suggest you to visit this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
and
Do a basic Google search on "your phone model + firmware" and "how to flash stock rom on your phone model"
Good luck
