Hello,
This forum is for newbies finding their way around XDA Developers, it isn't for requesting roms.

Hi all I have an Alcatel One touch POP D3 running some weird internal specifications. I have my phone rooted and working fine, but I need to know the series in which to go looking to get my custom rom. Here are my phone's statistics:
Model: ALCATEL ONETOUCH 4037R (SOUL4NA_US)
Manufacturer: TCL
Hardware: mt6581
Android Version: 4.4.2
Bootloader: unknown
Kernel Architecture: armv71
Kernel Version: 3.4.67 (vD2M-0)
As you can see I am running Android KitKat 4.4.2 and have 3.4.67 as my kernel version. The problem arises where I can't find the right MTK series to get my custom rom from, I have the MT6581 which is not the MT6582. All comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Please help me out here!

Hi and welcome to XDA.
I couldn't find much information about your device here except this thread > [Discussion][Guide][Root] Alcatel one touch 4037A/N/One Touch Evolve 2. Try posting your query there or in Android Q&A,Help and Troubleshooting. Experts there may be able to help you.
Good luck
Hi all,
I am requesting every user to post the following info about their device the are using to help porters in porting roms from other device.
The following information should be posted.
1. Your device name.
2. Android version
3. Kernel version (this is most important)
4. GPU ( which GPU it has such as Mali 400, Mali 450, etc).
5. CPU (which CPU it has such as MT6572, Snaapdragon 650 etc).
You can get this info by installing CPU-Z or AIDA64 from playstore.
As for porting the most important things are
1. Kernel version must be same
2. Your processor must be of same manufacturer such as MediaTek
3. Its Gpu must be same.
By this success of porting is 70 to 90 percent so please i request you all to post your above given device info here.
This will become a list and will help porters to find right devices for porting.
Starting myself
My device is Qmobile X35
Android version 4.4.2
Kernel version 3.4.67
GPU is Mali-400MP1
CPU is MT6572
I have ported miui8, cm12.1, cm13, ressurection remix 5.5.9 and 5.6.7 on my device successfully.
Now i m going to port pure stock android lolipop on my device if i find same kernel version to my device with lolipop rom.
I hope this list will help a lot as it will have full list of all devices info.

There is no guide for normal users , this needs coding skills to compile it into the kernel, just request this on the developer`s forum

Greetings and welcome to assist. You can't install a rom that has not been made for your device, the best thing you can do is try an port a rom from a device with the same chipset. If you want to try and make your own rom there is an excellent guide here
