[Q] Changing Emojis - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi guys! So I am receiving my s7 from sprint next week. In my opinion, I really don't like the Samsung emojis and prefer the stock google ones. Is it possible to create a flipfont with the google emojis that would replace the Samsung ones without root?
Thanks!

No, not that I know of. It requires a root.

Yes download emojis for flipfont and set it as font. I made mine srock

Me too, in SMS. Though in WhatsApp and other such messaging apps they have their emojis built in so I use them instead. However, receiving calls on those apps incurs a nasty Samsung bug whereby you can't adjust the in-call volume - no matter what any of the volume sliders say it's maximum volume, which is extremely uncool.

I use the app Hello SMS and it uses ios emojis. The app is basic but works fine, I've been using it for a long time.

How to get emoji iOS 9.3.
1. Deleting SamsungColorEmoji file from system/fonts
2. Download this one > Click!
3. paste it in system/fonts
4. give it RW- R- R- permissions.
5. reboot.

[Font] Segoe WP flipfont apk

Hi there,
In Note 3, flipfont has changed their verification mechanism so that a home brewed apk flipfont can't be used. However, I've found an apk of Segoe WP font that really works with Note 3 and would like to share.
The apk does not require rooted device. It just works with the stock rom
It contains Normal and Bold faces of the font, and the font seems to be pulled from WP8.0 emulation img. The apk was made from HelveticaNeue apk and the icon is the same. But it works
Have a look at the screenshot below:

My personal observation is that the font works very well just like it does on my Lumia 920.
Here is the link to the apk.

I'm not sure if the following one is the correct one. You should extract the apk and check if it contains the correct font I remember tried to install to a Note 4 and failed so I deleted it on my computer.

Has anyone else noticed they can't change fonts to any downloaded from a font app, i.e. HiFont or flipfont, since updating to Marshmallow? I've tried both apps and none of the fonts I download will work. I was using HiFont before the update and now the fonts I downloaded back then won't work either. I get the "font not supported" error. Any solutions out there?

Strange, the colours don't appear for me. I was confused at first because I used black keyboard theme and I couldn't see anything. But Apparently it's just they don't have any colours
Also just noticed that the flags are just broken with 2 boxes with X
This is very similar result to what I got when I merged Roboto and openmoji on computer, the emojis lost their colour
Update: after I installed the Root file and then installed non-root again, it started working suddenly as expected. I probably just accidentally chose the wrong file/theme.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
