Phone is restarting and saying kernel is not seandroid enforcing - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm new to the forums and rooting in general. I tried to root my 5.1.1 s6 edge with Odin and unikernal using a guide online, and now its restarting over and over showing that message in red. I really appreciate any help in fixing it. Ideally, I would like to root the phone, but I need to at least get it running again.
I've tried searching for this, but everything I saw just said it was no big deal and to put in stock kernel. However, I don't know how to to that. Thanks guys!

Looks like your phone is in a boot loop. Did you recently flash a custom recovery?

I think so? I put it in download mode and used Odin to put on the unikernel. I think I know why now, too. I had Knox on. From what I read, this can mess it up. I tried to factory reset, but its still boot looping.

Just flash stock firmware using Odin to fix the boot issue. Which Unikernel version did you use? Use unikernel_v8-0002
What carrier? I probably have a firmware link in my dropbox you can use for a fast download.

I did use that version of unikernel. My model number is SM-G925F. I'm on straight talk, so I got an unlocked international version off amazon. If I put the stock firmware on it, could I then use unikernal to root it?
Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

I would flash stock firmware then go to recovery and do a factory data reset > wipe cache partition > reboot.
Boot up then go to settings > about and tap build number 7 times > hit back once and go to developer options and enable "OEM Unlocking" (Pretty sure G925f OJC has OEM Unlocking, but could be mistaken)
Then go to download and flash kernel.

No, mine doesn't have OEM unlocking option. Could you point me to the exact file I need to run threw Odin to get the stock firmware?

What country and carrier was it originally?

This is the one I bought;
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00TX5PL52/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
All it says it that its the international version, I don't think it was ever linked to a carrier
Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

Is there another way to find those out?
Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

On the back of the phone it says "SM-G925F SAMSUNG, YATELEY, GU46 6GG UK
MADE IN INDIA BY SAMSUNG"
So possibly the UK version. I can't find any other way to see

[Q] Unroot Verizon Galaxy S3

Hello all,
I recently rooted my Galaxy S3 only to have my Mic fail on me 2 weeks later... Very dissatisfied with my Samsung about that - even though I am loving the phone. Anyways, back to the issue. Verizon has agreed to send me a replacement and I have to send them mine back. The problem is that I know that if I send them a rooted phone they will not honor the warranty, and I am having a very hard time flashing the Verizon Stock rom.
More specifically, and to see if I am doing anything wrong.. I used ODIN to flash a custom rooted rom onto my phone which worked perfectly, and now I am once again trying to use ODIN in order to flash the stock rom which I downloaded from goo.im - the file that I am using is HOME_I535VRALF2_I535VZWALF2_618049_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Simple steps - reboot into downloading mode -> check auto-reboot and reset time on ODIN and choose the file above under PDA. All works fine, the phone reboots and I get a PASS, and yet my phone is stuck on the Verizon 4G loading intro. I think that's what they call a soft brick.
The first time this happened, I flashed a different rom and the phone loaded properly but it had the open lock symbol under Samsung which I think means that it was unlocked.. Either way, it was not the unrooted and official stock rom which is what I need on my phone in order to keep my warranty. The file that DOES work is COMBINATION_I535VRBLJ1_I535VZWBLJ1_381038_REV09_user_low_ship(NO_WIPE).tar.md5
I have followed the above steps over and over again and I always get the same result - stock doesn't work, the other one does.
Any ideas? What could the issue be?

Personally I would try the files found in section 5 of this thread.
According to Droidstyles guide before his recent edits, if it freezes on the boot logo after a successful Odin factory flash then you're supposed to pull the battery, boot into recovery, and do a factory reset. Try that.

Yes this works, also had this happen to me, and to boot to recovery just hold home+volume up+power button. It should work.

You should probably factory reset after flashing, for you don't want to be running a buggy phone.

Use a full wipe version and this would not happen...part of the reason why i removed nowipe versions such as f2. But yes as slimsnoop said, data wipe /factory reset will fix that.
So I bought the s3 Verizon it was rooted and switched to cricket pre paid before my friend sold it to me he tried to root back to Verizon but of course he failed, is there anyway to get the phone completelyback to stock even though he switched providers cuz the phone is stuck on the activating part I'm no noobe at rooting just don't know much bout this phone

Follow section 5 of Droidstyle's (the guy above you) guide. Click the link in his signature. I'm not sure about how this handles modified network configuration though, that's not something I remotely know anything about.
I thought there was a way to bypass the activation screen? On older phones, you could tap the four corners of the screen or something like that? Anyone ever heard that before?

Pretty easy. First put the 4.1.2 Odin tar on your internal or external sd card as well as the stock kernel which is also a tar file. You can get these from Samsung's site or from the stickies here on xda. Remember the ones on Samsung site will wipe internal. But you can grab no wipe version here on xda
Now just go grab the app. When you open it it will ask you to download an add on. Say yes. Now it will tell you that you must have an unlocked bootloader. Say Ok since we know you have one. Put rom in system and kernel in kernel slot. If you wanna keep root and you are not flashing a rooted stock rom turn on ever root. Flash away!

SM-900V Hardbrick? Softbrick?

I have been looking for something similar to what is going on with my phone and I found nothing. I have been rooted for awhile (so I could use all my apps with MW) but decided to flash CM 11 and get all the bloatware off. I followed a youtube tutorial to flash a custom recovery but I seem to have been unsuccessful in unlocking my bootloader first and so I get the following error.
System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn your phone off and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for help.
Yeah, that's not gonna happen. Any help would be appreciated.

That's exactly what I had to do, problem I had though was Odin would fail as soon as I clicked start. Then for no damn reason my (still without a successful Odin run) my phone boots up like nothing was wrong. But I shot myself in the foot cause towelroot isn't working. Boooo....at least I have a working phone. Thanks for responding.

S3 stuck on red Verizon boot screen

So I've been working on this all night last night and all day today.
The issue- phone will boot, get to the red Verizon boot screen, sit there for approximately 45-60 seconds, then go to the lock screen. Within a couple of seconds, Then a message pops up that says process com.android.phone has stopped, then the phone reboots.
What I've tried- flashing various Vralec boot strings through Odin 3.2 and 1.3. Also tried five different stock ROMs and a CF Auto Root, in the hopes unlocking the bootloader would allow me to get a ROM to flash. Each and every one of these things has had an AUTH fail in Odin. Can anyone help me please?
I've also googled stuck red verizon screen, verizon s3 boot loop, process com.android.phone has stopped. None of the solutions I've found have been helpful, and are usually what led to the actions tried above. I believe I've encountered this before, but I checked my post history and wasn't able to find a thread, so I assume I found the solution on my own the last time.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

This is a warranty replacement from Verizon. Since I can't get it to boot, is there an alternative method to find those versions?
I have another S3, replaced less than a month ago, so I would assume they are the same software version and basebands, and that one is running 4.4.2 and I535OYUDNE1
The soft bricked, boot loop, S3 belongs to my girlfriend.
Flashing other ROMs on the S3 4.3 and newer will brick it. The bootloader was never unlocked. I'll try to find the thread describing the issue and post it here.

Flashing the ROMS through Odin failed every time, and none of that was done until AFTER the phone went in to a boot loop. It was already soft bricked, so I tried various different methods. Now I know, for future reference, that attempting to flash ROMs without unlocking the bootloader will brick it. Good to know.
If I can work around the Odin failed authorization, I believe I can flash a stock ROM to the phone and be all right, OR if someone can tell me how to unlock the bootloader, I should be able to flash a custom ROM, correct? It seems that the boot partition permissions were changed and have now affected the boot process, from what I've been reading.

edit: ok, I looked at the download mode accessible link, and that is one I'd tried before. Flashed the ALL I535 .tar and ran in to the auth fail message on odin. Going to try the other method now.

Bricked no, if your able to install apps it's far from bricked. He is correct however once the bootloader is locked your pretty much stuck. Replacements directly from verizon are coming back with 4.4.2 installed.

Unless you can find a fully stock ROM to flash via Odin, you may be in trouble. Unlocking the bootloader isn't an option. Without seeing your phone, I won't say it's bricked though.

All right, tried the recover from computer, it's to recover a bricked bootloader. My bootloader isn't bricked, it's the actual ROM that's non functional. So that didn't help. Just need a stock ROM to flash to the phone, can still get to download mode, which connects to Odin, no problem, can also get to stock recovery, Volume Up, Menu, power. Just need a stock ROM that works, or a way to get whatever authorization Odin or the phone wants in order to flash a boot chain and stock ROM. (I do know now not to flash a custom ROM, thank you for that!)

I definitely would not call that soft bricked. Can you get into recovery and try clearing cache and reboot? Worst case, factory reset from recovery and you should be good to go.

have you tried using odin or kies to just flash the stock NE1 4.4.2? youll have to reroot with towelroot afterwards but atleast the phone will be functional. as for the bootloader, sounds like its locked anyways so it wont be no worse than the shape youre in already.

that last link i believe is the actual tar file for NE1 if i remember correctly, i used kies when i updated mine and i didnt encounter any errors. did you delete the .md5 so it was just .tar (not .tar.md5) before trying it in odin? i know most people prefer odin over kies but if youre having this many problems kies is worth a shot.

You can download to previous bootloaders if you take the OTA to PD1. I'm not rooted and had a problem with my bluetooth on PD1. I didn't wanna lose my hotspot mod so I wanted to downgrade to OK3 and then take the OTAs to PC3 and then PD1. Here are the steps I used:
1. If on PD1 reboot to Recovery and wipe factory reset however many times you see fit. I only did it once.
2. Reboot to Download Mode and flash PC3 tar file via Odin
3. Once phone reboots to Welcome Screen power phone off by pressing and holding Power button
4. Reboot to Download Mode and flash OK3 via Odin
5. Once phone reboots it will sit at splash screen
6. Reboot to Recovery and wipe Factory Reset however many times you see fit. I did this once.
7. Let phone reboot and Profit
Thanks for the info

If I can downgrade on Verizons supposedly locked bootloaders, then you should be able to do it with Sprint because they're not as tough on the bootloader locking like Verizon is.

Yes. I just checked the downgrade from PD1 to PC3. It was just fine. So i checked the downfrade to OI6 and had no problems with it either. I think i had repartition checked when i started this thread. That is the only logical explanation. Yes... you can down grade afterall. I stand corrected in myself. One thing to note is that after the downgrade you have to factory reset in recovery, or it just keeps bootlooping.

Thanks for your confirmation. Good to learn that I can downgrade anytime I feel like

IF you take the PD1 update you won't be able to revert to previous bootloaders. It contains nothing interesting except security enhancements. It is only 28mb and does nothing good for us modders.
