Please help me out to root my Moto G 1st Gen and updated to the latest available OTA on Lollipop.
I wanted to run HTC sense UI on my Moto G. So guys please help me out.

there are lots of threads here on that...but you could start by telling what version of stock rom you're running on it

i already check for update. still cannot appear the update 4.4 screen.
i look at the forum most of them already update their moto g.
but my moto g not yet.
the update 4.4 are not the same time for moto g in malaysia?

[Completed] [Q] xposed installed moto g looking for OTA (Andriod lollipop) update

i have recently unlocked my boot loader and installed xposed followed by some useful tweaks. after hearing the announcement of andriod lollipop i was awestruck and now i feel guilty about rooting my mobile. can i get OTA update for andriod 5.0??? if yes what am i supposed to do before installing the update??? (i know it's too early to talk about it, but i can't handle my anxiety)

You can read about the planned Android L update for your device here: Moto G > Moto G General Moto G will be upgraded to android L.
So it is officially on the list of devices which will get Android L.
But it's not released yet. So you have to be patient.
BTW, you may have to flash the update manually as long as you are rooted. To get OTA updates, you have to be "stock" (on official firmware).

Do I need to first update to 4.4.4 to get the Android L update? I have a 1st gen Moto g running 4.4.2 Please revert.

Android M is not released yet. it will be available on Nexus 5,6,7.9 on the 5th of October, so you will need to wait a bit till Motorola will make the update.

How to update Motorola Moto X 2nd gen. without opening its bootloader or root?

Hey Guys! Can someone please tell me that how can I update my moto x 2nd gen. (verizon variant, xt1096) from lollipop (5.1) to stock marshmallow (6.0) without opening the bootloader or root. I am not on CDMA, using GSM network. Please guys help me. :crying:
