This sounds interesting! I will definitely give it a shot (haha!)
I've just installed it on my OP2. Let's see what it can do for us
Pretty impressive. Here's a comparison with a photo taken with the stock app.

Oh god that pun haha
it works good,
still shots have best results,
low light has similar results too (they get bigger shot with same quality dont expect to see more light than you usually get)
great work though, looking forward to to enhancement, if possible more control
Crashes when processing photo on OnePlus 2 with AOSP TipsyOS
Works great for me! I'm using it for Landscape shots but i guess theres much JPEG compression because the pictures just take ~100% more storage than 13MP shots :/

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Actual version encodes JPEG with a fixed quality of 95, this will be configurable inside settings on next version.

Camera opens but on screen camera button inside the app not working, not able to take photos. I'm using official cm 14.1, that may be a cause?

Okay, usually I don't take photos with my mobile, I'd rather choose a DSLR because of the better quality. Anyways, here is one I've taken. The phone was running MIUI v9 (as far as I know). I used the MIUI Camera App Port from the i9003 Themes and Apps section. 5MP, exposition -2. Not the best photo I have taken, but quite ok and the quality is ok for a mobile, but unfortunately I needed to compress it, before uploading.

He's obsessed with the cm7 camera for some reason. When the moto x or GPE and even regular s4 touch whiz camera options are better with much more support it doesn't really look like that camera takes really good photos in the pictures he posted.

Is anything bothering you atm abt my post? If you are not interested just stay away from it
I've tried many camera apps and its been pretty laggy and I'm not sure if it is only happening to me.
So I've been searching everywhere for a camera app that is simple and supports 4k video recording with save to SD Card feature.
I finally found it after searching around the OnePlus One subforum! Test and works smoothly with CM12.1.

p.s. not sure if this has been posted before at LG G3 forum..
Hello. I too feel most cameras are laggy so was keen to try. Installed on cloudy 2.2 copies the 2 files and changed permissions. However app will not open? Any ideas??
well they only work on cyanogen mod based roms
Tested it on my CM12.1-running G3...
It works, but the quality is just not that good. I compared the shots taken with CameraNext and Google Camera, the Next seemed very poor.
I've already installed it properly and set it to 13MP and 100% quality.
The 4K recording also doesn't work well, it stutters pretty bad. The frames are too low.
Any of you guys know how to figure this out?
In case this helps:

4k for CM 12 based roms on G3 is crap.
I can appreciate the OP coming here to share but the frame rate is low and barely looks like 4k, same with Snapcam which also supports 4k.
Recording 60fps?
Hello (or something)
This is a Magisk module.
It enables you to record 4k videos and shoot photos in manual mode via MIUI Camera.
It may have some flaws (but wasn't reported to), as the base xml config file was taken from Chinese 8.1.
If you have any suggestions or non-placebo problems, feel free to tell here. Especially if you got some know-how about device_features modding on MIUI devices.
Confirmed to work by @xdatman

Hardware could handle that, but Xiaomi didn't include such a mode. One day, maybe me or someone else would hax the cam lib for that, but don't hope for it.

Anyone tried on miui 10 Global Beta 8.6.28?
I really need this feature and it's gone since Pie update , I wonder if it's a bug or they intentionally removed it?
Anyone able to get the stabilization to work or any method to revert the camera app to the older version?
Please help!!!
I was under the assumption video stabilisation is on always.. You can't turn it off. Hence there's no option in the settings anymore....

I wish it was like that but I'm pretty sure it is not!!!
The video recording is shaking as hell and it doesn't make sense to have in on all the time since EIS doesn't work with 60FPS and 4K and that would be really confusing.
Using gcam you get the option to turn video stabilisation on/off.

Your quite tight you won't find it in the Playstore as its a modified version of the camera app that goes into the pixel phones.
There's very little versions, if any now, that work OK with this phone. Not many developers are trying to port the app to the honor note 10. Not popular enough or to old.
The one I'm using is the latest version I can find that works OK with the Note 10. Albeit an old version now as the latest version of Gcam have loads more features..
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pgiqyolksmycxbf/GoogleCamera_5.1.018.apk?dl=0
Download it and see how you get on.
If you're in tested in trying other modded apk's, then check out this Web page. It has hundreds of modded versions....but beware a lot of them just won't run of freeze the phone when the app is opened.. Good luck.. [emoji1303]
