I recently bought an unlocked Samsung s4 and couldn't manage either to upgrade it's firmware or to root it!!
help me please!!
my phone specs are the following:
Model number: GT-I9505
Android version: 4.42
Base bande version: I9505OLBFNB4
Kernel version: 3.4.0-481102 [email protected] #1
*#1234# says:
AP: I9505XXUFNB7
CP: I9505XXUFNB4
CSC: I9505XXUFNB3
in odin downloading mod it shows:
model NO: SPH-l720
in some how it's a combinition of GT-I9505 and SPH-l720!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN ANYONE HELP ME!???????

I need to install a custom rom on my samsung duos gt-s7562 but unfortunately the driver does not work.
it's now three days I'm trying KIES (updating it) and samsung drivers available on the forum [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961956] and everywhere else, none of them was useful.

I recently bought a Samsung DUOS Young.
I am trying to root it. I am not very expert with the procedure. I have failed with Kingoroot, RootGenious, android_root, towelroot, towelpie, framaroot.
I copy from "About device" section:

but my note 4 has the ANDROID VERSION: 5.0.1, does it change anything?? because on one of the 2 link you gave me says version 4.4.4

But unfortunately, from SamMobile firmware website, they do not have that kind of firmware on my phone.
Can you please, if any, share your firmware . Any help will be appreciated.
