Any good protective case available for the Z5 - Xperia Z5 Accessories

Well I have a bit of trouble searching for a new case for my Z5, currently I using the Love MEI case but that thing too big for me so i need a new once.
I've read pretty much all the threads here but couldn't find any good case so i would like to ask which case suit for my need.
- Front & back protection again small drop(a bit buk is ok but not too much)
- I never use the finger print so I am not really care about it been cover or not
- If best can I ask is any case have mental back, I afraid that I will bend my phone even in my front pocket. ( again i dont use NFC much so i dont really care)
The best I've seen so far is the TUDIA Dual Layer Protective Case but it is for the Z5 Premium

You also have TUDIA Ultra slim Z5, but it is not dual layer. Check their website.
I have bought 5 cases so far for my Z5 (video review of them coming soon) and I must say I like two of them.
Custodia Cover RINGKE FUSION Case Trasparent - if you have black version I recommend smoked black edition or
Orzly® FlexiSlim Case cover 0.6 mm Super Slim for Sony Xperia Z5 - this one is really very slim and it really gives you the feel of the phone, but I think it is not very protective if you drop the phone. I am not going to test it

Have a flick through Roxfit, they've got some decent cases and screen protectors (including tempered glass).
I've got the Ultra Slim Book Case for mine. it's a really nice case and I've had the same case on several Xperia's before. All of which survived drops, crushing and other general abuse.
https://www.roxfit.mobi/collections/xperia-z5

Indeed, it looks like cases are kind of hard to find. Going to give one of these recommendations a shot and I'll throw up some impressions once I've used it for a few days. Loving the phone overall.

After spending time looking for a case, I went for the Roxfit as it met my requirements (folio style, slim, credit card slot). It's been pretty good and has protected against a couple of 'small' falls onto floor / ground - unusually for me, I did use the provided screen protector which is starting to show some wear but hasn't affected the use of the screen in any way so it must be doing a good job.

I use http://www.amazon.de/Spigen-SGP1180...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
&
a gorilla glas.
And im happy with it.

I bought RINGKE FUSION Case Trasparent.
Love it!

just choose a transparent soft case, simple but elegant.

I think you can get Case-mate tough case. I am using it myself.

Great case AMZER Crusta!

Hi folks,
Just wanted to share my experience with this new case that I got last week, it's called Crusta, made by Amzer, I have used Amzer products in the past, but this case is something very different from their regular stuff I have used in the past.
Since, I have replaced 2 screens on my S5 in last 4 months, I really wanted to get something which protects the device, don't want to spend more money on repairs, initially thought of going ahead with OtterBox but I saw an ad on Facebook for Crusta. Having used Amzer in past, I ordered it (even got 25% off part of their promotion!)
Really loving the case, it is a bit on the bulky side, but not as much as an otter box, it is right mix of protection and style, they claim it is 6 feet drop proof, it did fall out of my pocket 2-3 times and no visible damage. The thing i really like about this case is that it came with a very nice and tough glass screen protector and a belt clip. Really neat bundle. The back of the case is very nice and stylish with clear backing. Only wished this case was waterproof, but for $45 its a great buy, I got yellow and black combo, but really good color options, lots of them.
If you are looking to get an otterbox, i would suggest you give this a try and save some money!
Have a look here - www.amzer.com/crusta
I will be posting pictures after I manage to get some decent pictures from my second phone

I've been looking for a case/holster combination and just came across this one. I had previously ordered the Seidio Dilex and was not happy with it mainly because it is so slick. The Seidio adds quite a bit of bulk also but I think I'd be ok with that if it just wasn't so slippery. Can you tell me a little about the holster? I need something that holds the phone safely. I prefer holsters that rachet and need a little force to spin around. What do you think about this one?
How'd you get 25% off? I'm interested in possibly ordering one.

Back2School is the code. It shows it right on the top of the amzer page

So I also have the Seidio Dilex and I ordered a Crusta just to see what the differences were. Here's what I noticed aside from what the OP stated:
-The belt clip, where it attaches to the belt, has a lot tension so it grabs tightly
-It is a U-Clip on the clip, but instead of a solid piece it is two "teeth" that wrap underneath the belt
-Phone case seems to fit loosely when the screen is facing out/clips in very tightly with screen facing inward (I prefer screen facing in)**
-The rotating clip looks like a gear assembly. When you turn it, it settles into the grooves and won't spin so it is omni-directional
-Online photos looks like the camera would be touching if laid on its back. The outer edge of the case keeps it from touching so no worries there
-Heart rate sensor is easily accessed and works well. Fingerprint scanner will work, but you will have to be accurate since the rubber has no give
-The Amzer is thicker overall than the Seidio Dilex and probably the exact same width as the Seidio would be if the kickstand went all the way up
**Might just be my case, OP would have to chime in
My overall so far is that I like it, but I want to test out the belt holster more before I wholeheartedly recommend it. The case is good and I love the tempered glass screen protector that came with it. The rubber is not slick at all and has a fake stitching look around the front face for aesthetics I suppose? Also, with this case on it barely fits in my Nathan's runners belt. Granted it is the smallest runner's belt, but with the grippy case rubber around it I won't be able to easily take it in and out to change songs or answer calls after I get it in there.
I'd like to post some pictures, but I need some suggestions of the best place to upload them for posting here? I just wondered what others would use and if you would like any specific pictures I am happy to oblige. I'll do a breakdown and couple of size comparison shots with the Dilex.
Edit: I personally won't be using the fingerprint scanner because as I found out, it you register a fingerprint while the case is on you should be able to unlock it. If you register it with the case off and put the case on, it most likely won't accept the scan. My experience was scanning in a fingerprint with the case on and took the case off to take pictures and it wouldn't take my fingerprint at that depth. If you are never going to take the case off this may work for you. However if you have pre-registered fingerprints and you put the case on you may lock yourself out. Just my experience.

I would suggest this case for sure, though I don't buckle the phone to my waist much, but the holster is really nice and high quality, the clip for rotation is also very smooth but at the same time not 'loose'. The video on their site says to put the phone face in for best results, but even face out is ok, the holster really holds the phone in really well.
My past experience with a seidio case for my S4 wasn't that great either, they tear up after some time and the support team is really not upto the mark. This case is not exactly thin, but it's a lot less than Otterbox, also this case has very very good grip on the TPR ring they have provided, so it won't be slippery like Seidio for sure.

I ordered during the independence day sale, i think they have back to school sale right now, which i'm going to use to order a case for my friend's iPhone 5s for which they have the crusta now. Try code BACK2SCHOOL - might work.
I will try to post some pictures today.
Regarding the Amzer Crusta!!!!
OMG that case is beautiful. Just looked online. That is absolutely a find. Called then and long to order.
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
Any cases to recomand to keep the phone well protected but also to keep the design of the phone ? I'm tired of those cases that make my phone look like it's old when it's not !

Then keep it out of a case, naked as god intended
In 10 years with smartphones, I only have cases for when I'm in a "rough" area (like at the beach) and I never had any problem. Don't drop your phone

Lol you're probably right as long as there is a screen protector but I'm not great at not dropping my phone so I'm not sure if I want to take the risk ! Even though it sounds like you can really enjoy the design of your phone that way !!
What you're asking is essentially what nearly everybody is looking for. But if you're prone to dropping your phone, you definitely need to get a slightly thicker case.
Alternatively (less protection), I'm going to go with a glass screen protector on the front AND the back, and a bumper of some sort.
I love glass screen protectors due to the fact that if you drop your phone and the glass shatters, it's likely to only crack the extra one you put on, not the phone itself.
i have the Neo Spigen cases (for my S4 and soon to be S6). i think they keep the phone protected enough without adding bulk like the majority of cases.. but if you really want the least bulk and thinnest case that basically adds very little size to the phone then my suggestion would be the spigen ultra thin. Spigen claims it's the "Thinnest and Lightweight Case on the market"
Link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QU4N7AK/
most of these cases also available in different color, some other possible options:
Spigen Hybrid - all around protection (phone gets inserted into a slim rubber type case and a thin bumper frame surrounds it).
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QU4ND3G/
Spigen Slim Fit - not the most protective, but probably very slim with little bulk.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QU4ND3G/

improve grip without adding bulk?

I really like how the premium materials on the s6 feel but it's likeholding a piece of ice dipped in lube.. crazy slippery. this also makes for very awkward hand positioning if you dare use one hand (which i attempt to do).. this phone is already kinda too-big for me ... also, it's incredibly insecure inside a pocket. if you lie down, it will fall out. if you're wearing something loose like sweat pants and sit down, it will fall out..
i'm looking for a solution to improve grip but i HATE cases .. especially on a phone this big. something like a skin/wrap seemsperfect but I'd like to know how much grip these add. Ideally, I feel like 2 thin strips of a grippy vinyl along the edges would be enough but more realistically, a full back wrap would likely be the way to go.
dbrand and slickwraps seem to be the most popular ones. i like the look of the leather wraps but it seems like they feel more like paper in person (based on youtube reviews). I wish someone made a clear full-back cover made out of a gripper plastic (like old school palm pilot screen protectors).. that would likely work.
anyone have experience/recommendations?
The InvisibleShield HDX by Zagg works really nicely for the S6.
I've got to say, though. Nothing could be more slippery than the HTC One M8. Awesome phone, but very slick.
The official Samsung shell case adds some grip while still retaining the look of the phone. It's lightly textured hard plastic.
I remember seeing a post a long time ago where someone sprayed Plasti-dip on the back of their phone. I'm sure that would definitely add grip, and it is reversible. Not sure it's something I'd want to do, but it is an option.
Just did a quick search :
http://lifehacker.com/5716776/diy-rubberized-phone-backing
P.s.- you can get Plasti-dip in multiple colors, including clear.
I am really loving The neo hybrid by spigen.
Probably a bit thicker than a skin, but still minimalist, try the Spigen thin fit BLACK color. The other colors (maybe there aren't other colors for the S6?) are slippery. The black one has a very nice grip, but still easy to take out of pockets. Also, it protects the camera lens .
I have the Samsung shell case, seriously its like having no case on the phone but does add grip

Comes in other colours.
a suggestion
You might want to look at the Tech21 Evo Check at Best Buy. It adds very little bulk to the phone, but a whole lot of grip. I'm waiting for an Urban Armor Gear Outland to be delivered , and although the Tech21 case is not cheap, it gives me peace of mind until the UAG arrives.
I got a spigen clear flexible skin on ebay for around 12 dollars. Very nice slim and adds a lot of grip and still lets the phone shine thru
I got dbrand leather carbon finer skin for the back. It's less slippery to hold and no bulk added.
there is really not a solution for you.
Just get a SUPER thin case
I always found adding a cheap clear skin protector on the back add just the amount of grip you need. Worked for the Sony Z3 as well as htc one M7/M8 from my personal experience.
You could wrap your phone once around with Saran Wrap. Might look a little funky, but it will give you some more grip.
if you don't want a case but want grip and never drop your phone then checkout the flygrip it uses double sided adhesive to attach to your phone and also works as a kickstand in potrait and landscape mode , been using it for years on all my devices , but if you wireless charge then it will get in the way and wont work
I bought a pure gear case. Very slim with rubber siding and clear!! I've used them on several phones. Great feel and low bulk. I also added a screen protector

I know these are expensive but they seem to be a great quality and are truly the thinnest case I have ever seen. You should be able to try them out at your local Best Buy to see if you like it.

What S6 cases is everyone using?

I'm using a vintage stylish back cover along a SGP tempered glass(9H) for the screen protection,it's good so far,for I'm not get used to the flip cover or wallet cover,it's not convenient as the brief cover as coming calls&messages, which makes it wired and also no good for video watching and daily usage. Besides, the case also with double wallet slot on the back for credit cards etc.,and two slots is enough. The slim design also enjoy another 10 scores, fine match the S6's thickness without make your device a clumsy one.

Is it genuine leather case? Doest it protect the camer (i.e. have a lip near camera or just thicker than the camera)? Is it soft enough inside or is it plastic inside?
I think I could go for it if there were no card holders)
Edit: found it cheaper on ebay. I think I'll order one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Rea...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item20fa6c88e2

Spiegen neo-hybrid here. Minimal bulk, great grip and feel with metal buttons. I myself feel that screen protectors are unnecessary anymore, as todays gorrila glass does well enough to protect from scratches. A screen protector isn't going to stop a drop-shatter anyways. The neo is the best looking and thinnest of the 5 cases I have, all while providing two-piece drop protection.

I have the same case now. It's ok but it makes my s6 to be the size of my Oneplus One want something less bulkier. As for the screen protectors, I might disagree - tempered glasses save your phone glass from shattering almost always.

I respect your view on tempered glass, I have heard a lot of good things about it. Unfortunately for me, it didnt work so well the one time I needed it to. As far as cases go, the hybrid is about as thin as a current generation (protective) case could be. If you want any thinner, why would you use a case at all?

That's an excellent question, sir!
Firstly, I beleive it will still save the back glass from shattering if I drop my phone (and I know I will drop it some day, always happens to me when after the honey moon I become more and more careless with the new toy).
Secondly, I afraid to much for the camera lens, which just waaaay too protruding to be safe, imo and also very weak according too AndroidAuthority review. (rly samsung? for 700 bucks your could not go for saphire glass on the protruding camera lens?)
My concerns with the camera lens are the same as yours, but we can't change the design of the S6. I don't think sapphire lense would help too much either. More costly, interferes with clarity, and still breaks.
I'm using the UAG case. Love this thing. Very very slim and provides the best protection for my phone out of all the cases I've owned. UAG cases might be on the top end of costs ($30-35) but it is built to last
I used a Spigen neo hybrid, but I ended up with a UAG as well
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TRG8KGO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This leather sleeve which fits perfectly. Pretty tight actually, so no risk of your phone falling out I guess. Great quality leather and finishing I must say, they're all handmade. Price is a bit steep but you do get what you pay for and honestly, if you spend this amount of money on a phone you might as well spend some money on protecting it.
I thought about buying on of those Spigen cases which look slick, but then I thought; Samsung finally made a phone with a finish worth looking at and holding in your hand when using it, why hide that in a case?

Question Cases: "Slim Fit"

Hi there,
Did anyone bought any "Slim Fit" cover ( as the Air Skin from Spigen ) ? How was your experience with those ?
Actually I use ( as I always do ) the Spigen Tough Armour when at work but when I'm off I would like to enjoy the phone a bit more.
What I need is a thick and soft cover. Those on Amazon slips away from the phone even by using the adhesives they provide with or at least this is what I read on the review.
Any suggestions?
The bottom half is pretty standard across the board. The top isn't the most secure, but holds enough for causal use. Not talking about any one specific slim case. They all tend to slide up a bit because there is nowhere to anchor them.
Find one you like and use the spare stickers from the Spigen. Using one of the full body films can help keep it in place, too. Another option is some double sided tape below the screen. If you aren't trying to flip it open like a Zippo, it will stay on.

I have used Spigen cases for years for my candy-bar phones - but for this phone I got a Ringke http://www.ringke.com/site/item.php?id=1&item=1248
It's basically 2 pieces of polycarbonate, and a small raised lip protects the main screen of the phone, as well as the outside. It's maybe 1.5mm raised from the small screen.
First, I haven't dropped it seriously (yet). It took a drop from waist-height onto a tiled floor without a problem - though the thing about falls, is that it does depend on HOW it falls.
Like all the slim cases it doesn't protect the hinge mechanism - but if you are looking for protection there, the case gets a lot thicker - and not sure if the phone would then rest flat on a surface.
I bought the transparent one, then bought the black variant - if you use the flash as a torch, the transparent polycarbonate transmits the beam all across the case...
I was looking for portability with "sufficient" protection, whilst being able to fit into my back pocket (yes, really!).
Because of the phone's form factor, the overall level of protection is fine for me
I bought one and sent it back for one particular reason. It is made of hard plastic, and when folded, it makes weird sound when mobile vibrates. Both hard shells vibrate against each other. Rest it is a sleek cover. SO far I found only the Samsung one to be most useful.
I just bought and tried both the tough armor and air skin. I sent the tough armor back.
Zero issues with case halves sliding on or off. Everything seems firm and secure. I really like the air case. Just enough for some protection and a better grip.
The tough armor completely ruined the zflip experience for me. Turned it into way to thick of a brick. At that point I'd prefer a candy bar phone.
Hope that helps OP.
