Note Edge Custom 5.1.1 ROM
Hi i can't find a rom for my note edge on 5.1.1 Model: SM-N915G
They're in Android developement forum... You need to read the headers as they can be for multiple versions, f,fy and g for example...

Is it possible to (root and then) flash the (for example) N915G with the stock ROM for N915FY and have it work as such.
Seems like the F and FY versions are much more expensive than the other region models?

i was trying to root and add trwp in my note edge but unfortunately both things didn't work and now i m stuck at sprint logo.
so i decide to get back to stock rom 6.0.1 (Software Version : N915PVPS4DPL1)
while searching on sam i found two Firmware with above mention software version
Country/Carrier
2016-12-25 Spint (cdma) 6.0.1 N915PVPS4DPL1 N915PSPT4DPL1
2016-12-25 Unknown 6.0.1 N915PVPS4DPL1 N915PSPT4DPL1
the difference is of country / carrier, which one should i chose ?
I recently purchased a note edge that It was unlocked. So after flash of stock rom will my note edge Asian Sim will be working ?

I'm note edge software is so old and is running android 4.4.4. Is there any food mods to flash to get a newer version of android ?

I wouldn't update it unless you HAVE to.
The phone seems to run best on KitKat from what I've seen.
Of course that operating system was what the designers of the phone planned for the hardware to run in the first place.
Other note phones are running 6.0.1
I have my Samsung galaxy s5 running 6.0.1. Also other note edge models are running 6.0.1 but I can't find the update for my edge model.
Hi I have a unlocked 2015 Galaxy J7 SM-J7008 that I bought for a relative and noticed it is stuck with Lollipop. I did a search of the model number and did not see any releases specifically for this phone. I really like the unbloated stock rom releases of Marshmellow and Nougat that are stable but it looks like those are for different versions of the J7 2015.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or is there just no support for this phone? Sorry if I searched wrong, I'm very new to this site and custom roms.
