So I have root access on my Kindle Fire Hd and I accidentally deleted the download manager in the system folder. This means I can't download anything from the browser or from the Google Play store I sideloaded on. So can someone post the apk file for the stock android download manager pls.

Hi all.... So I deleted the stock download manager.apk and now am unable to download anything from chrome or play store.... Could anyone please provide the apk for the same for me to push to system/app tried googling but didn't help.....

so you required
1 -- rooted micromax a27
2 -- recovery installed on micromax a27
3 -- my zip file
instructions to flash .zip file
1 -- put the zip file anywere on sd card and boot to recovery using mobile uncle tool or link2sd or whatever.
2 -- in recovery select "install zip file form sd card"
3 -- got o your zip file
4 -- click on "yes"
5 -- done enjoy holo launcher for micromax a27

if u have all stock [systemUI and framework-res unmooded] then flash this zip file directly as method above.
BUT
if u have mooded [systemUI and framework-res] unzip my file using root brouser only place your mooded [systemUI and framework-res] apps in zip file at same location as in zip file before. rezip it using root brouser only and then flash it.
holo launcher will be upgraded to its new version which is even more faster and gives lollipop look to your droid.

I have a Gigaset QV 830 Tablet and rooted it a few month ago. With Tiatanium Backup (I think), I deleted accidently the Download Manager.
So now, Google Play Services do not work anymore. I think, it must be the DownloadProvider (or DownloadProviderUI(?)) akp file, which is missing, its not here anymore.. I don't know, where or how to get this file, so that I could install Download Manager again. Thank you in advance!
You'll have to find a stock based rom or someone else with your tablet that is rooted to extract the apk from. Once you have it, you will need a root enabled file manager to put the app back in the correct folder and set the permissions to 0644.

I accidentally deleted my download manager when trying to remove bloatware from my Sony Xperia C3 Dual.
I have searched all over the internet for an .apk for a download manager but to no avail.
i sincerely request that somebody with a rooted device please create an apk file of their download manager using Titanium Backup or the likes and upload it to a cloud and post the link here or even email it to me on [email protected]
