Hey there to all the ladies and the gentelmen
I have a Shap Aquos Xx 404sh (extended data at the bottom) for a while (bought is aroud October) and I would like to know if any of you know a way to get a better rom than the original.
He has some bloatware I would like to ditch and once in a while he studders in a very Android way (applications stucks/crashes, random reboots etc...). I had a nexus 5 before and I really miss the clean Android expirience.
I've tried to update the device but it seems I have to be in Japan for that (or at least to have a japanese sim card).
Someone here have any idea of what can I do? a way to update him or change the rom? ?I do have expirience with rooting and intalling a new recovery & rom.

then can i install any samsung apps belonging to ICS Os?
Probably. It can't hurt to try. I've heard some of the clones don't even use the proper OS - so who knows.
One benefit, I suppose, is if you can get an SD card and install apps on that (since it wouldn't have the issue that the real Samsung phones do, perhaps) since you don't likely have much for internal storage.

yes i did add some applications via SD card seems like not a big issue..

I need help with updating my phone. I can't do it via kies cause its not recognizing it so i thought to do it manually but its my first time dealing
with kind of stuff in my phone.
I went to sammobile to check my firmware and download a rom but i had no luck finding my firmware or downloading a rom for my country/brand so I came here for help.
I want to download and update an official rom stock to my phone but i dont know which one to chose from the list.

Just 2 questions, there is a hebrew language in this firmware update or ill have to install it manually too?
and again is there any differences between the countries/brands of 4.2.2 roms, I mean the one in the guide is from Germany, if I would use
from Netherlands for example, it's the same? just want to know a bit more.

First, a huge thank you to all of you! I visited this site many, many times and always found answers to my questions. Until now Maybe I'm just unable to find the right keywords...
A friend of mine wanted to get a high quality smartphone for low budget and so the inevitable happened: She bought sh** The phone calls itself "P30 pro" but it's no Huawei. I think it could be this one (I'm not allowed to post outside links, so maybe this works, just add 'https' and 'www' infront: 'joom.com/de/products/5e14249f8b4513010125b696'). My question is if it is possible to find a suitable custom ROM for this phone because my friend complained about suspicious websites which opened themself, and so she dosen't trust the "stock ROM" any more.

so i bought this phone off of wish and i believe it is my worst mistake. i generally dont know anything about phones that is super geeky but a friend talked about this site so here goes nothing.

did you have any luck as I'm fixing one and cannot find firmware for this thing.
