Request assistance - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all.
I'm real sorry if this is out there somewhere--which I'm sure it is.
I had no luck using the search feature.
My PC (win 8.1) will not recognize the phone when connected in fastboot mode. I have the drivers installed and will work/connect when powered on. In fastboot it DOES show that the USB is obviously connected but, again, PC doesn't pick it up or says there was a "problem" with this device....
I am trying to the the TWRP recovery installed.
In addition, why is it when stock "recovery" is selected is shows the android with the statement "no command" and does nothing?!
Thanks for any and all help and/or links

[Q] Help-Bootloop + no recovery

I have a T-Mobile Nexus S that has a bootloop. Its my friends so I dont know what he did to it. I can get to the bootloader but when I connect it to my computer it won't recognize it. I thought of a driver problem but i can't get past the bootloop to enable usb debugging. It also won't show up in device manager. The phone's usb port works. It will still charge. I just need to get rid of the bootloop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If it has a custom recovery, boot into it and wipe data/factory reset.
If it does not, flash a custom recovery. These forums are chockful on guides how to root, flash stuff and fix bootloops.
I looked up how to install recoveries but when i plug in my nexus to my computer it is not recognized. At the bottom of the bootloader screen it says "USB Control Init" and then "USB Control Init End". I do have the proper drivers installed. Is there a fix for this?
Are you sure that you have the correct drivers installed, though?
It's known that people who use Windows have a lot of success with the PDAnet drivers (you can search around here for those), rather then with the standard USB drivers the Google SDK provides.

Did you try to run "fastboot devices" in command prompt while it's at fastboot mode and plugged into the PC? What do you see as the result? The guides on XDA should help, but you may also head over to nexusshacks_dot_com for more references.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
With pdanet it requires me to plug in my phone with usb debugging turned on to get the drivers with i cant do because of the bootloop. and when i go into command prompt it says "waiting for device" and won't recognize it. Thanks for the help

well, why don't you like ICS I'm just curious about that !
about that problem ...uninstall Kies then restart machine and try to perform a clean install of drivers yes again by Kies but don't connect device at this time and restart PC after installation then connect phone to PC activate usb debugging
also if you like to play with custom ROMs (= flashing ) then I suggest to install Android SDK to get adb.exe/fastboot.exe
now activate usb debugging on your phone connect it to PC then enter from cmd.exe -open console in adb.exe folder location usually ~ \android-sdk\platform-tools\
adb devices
if you get answer it means you have drivers installed
also start Device Manager start/run/devmgmt.msc and connect phone to PC (activate usb debugging previously ) you should see adb interface listed -take a look at picture
now try to start phone in fastboot/download mode and connect to PC it should detect phone
open cmd.exe in fastboot.exe folder ~\android-sdk\platform-tools\ then try this
fastboot devices

I failed to flash MIUI on Windows 10 MI4

Today I tried to return to MIUI from Windows 10 Mobile and it went wrong. I found a guide that said, that I should choose "Mass Storage" in UEFI menu, then wait until the device shows up in Explorer, and then flash fastboot image using MiFlash. But MiFlash failed to do this, so my device is completely bricked right now. Holding any button combination does nothing, Windows can still detect that something is connected via USB, but it shows the message "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it". Even notification LED doesn't turning on, when I try to charge the phone. When I tried to check this phone on Linux PC, using "lsusb" command(just wanted to check if it's even connecting), it stuck without any output to terminal. So, right now, I'm completely clueless, what shall I do next.

[HELP] Stuck on 1+ logo

Hi guys. I come here in search for help as I already tried possibly all the methods and unbrick solutions that I saw to fix my Oneplus One. Basically when I turn it on it gets stuck on "1+ powered by android" screen. I can't go to Recovery Mode and I can only enter the Fastboot mode if I'm not connected to PC. It doesn't get recognized when I connect it to PC unless I press the "Vol. up + Power" button combination. After this, it gets recognized on windows' device manager as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" and the phone gets in a mode that doesn't show anything on the screen and apparently necessary to do what's described in this post. This was the last thing that I've tried after I tried several other solutions.
Thanks in advance to anyone who might help me. I love this phone and I hate just the thought of buying a new one.

I already intalled fastboot drivers and put the phone in fastboot mode. When I plug the phone to the PC it doesn't get recognized. Can you tell me how to install the fastboot drivers? Maybe I missed something.

Try using win7.
PS: did you launched the tool with administrator privileges?
I download the latest adb and fastboot drivers from Android Studio site under command line tools.
Here is a good Article on how to configure the drivers on your machine.https://www.xda-developers.com/adb-fastboot-any-directory-windows-linux/

Please delete.

I messed up something on my phone so that it only boots up in bootloader mode. According to the phone, flashing mode is enabled and it recognizes that a USB cable is attached.
The computer makes the sound that something attached when I connect the phone. However, running "adb devices" shows no connection and the fastboot command says "waiting for any device". The phone is essentially bricked if I can't get it recognized by the computer. Please help!
The third computer I tried, worked! Thanks.
