[Completed] SuperSu and Kinguser Problems on Galaxy Core 2 - XDA Assist

Hi im CrispyLife, I am here for a lot of reasons. 1. A day ago i unrooted my phone using King user, However it didn't seem to delete... i didn't have root access, Today i tried rooting my phone with this time with Supersu. It didn't root all it said was Su binary installation failed. Meaning i don't have root! Then again i tried to root this time with king user and it said " Su upgrade failed. Missing root permission. Which really pissed me off because King user for me always had a 100% working rate. Somehow, my phone while the process of rooting converted both Superuser and King-user to system apps, making them uninstall able. Please help me re-root my phone or at least remove these 2 files from my phone.

[Completed] Root problem. Help!

Hi everyone,
I need some help on my phone (CM Flare 2.1). I accidentally factory reset it, and has lost it's root privileges. I tried rooting it many times with different tools, and still can't root it. The last one I used was the Root Master app. It rooted my phone but every reboot removes the root. Every time I reboot my phone, I root it again with the app. Anyone know my phone's problem?

[Completed] [Q] Nexus 6 Root Access Not Working

Hello I just rooted my 5.0.1 lollipop nexus 6 with cf auto root last week.
It worked fine my bootloader is unlocked and supersu was installed very quickly.
However, When I grant root access to apps it does not go through.
Meaning that when an app requests root access and I grant it, afterwords even though it is still granted the app will not have root access.
I have done several things with the su app (unroot reroot reinstall from playstore etc) short of flashing the new beta, mainly because im new to this and dont really know how.
If anyone can help or has any suggestions that are in a somewhat easy to understand way I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Hi,
You can review this guide... Specifically the rooting portion, and see if you've done everything you should. If so, ask for help there too...

[Q] Need help with rooting off brand tablet

I have a Linsay F-10xhd tab and have been searching everywhere on the net for a way to root this device. I have tried every 1 click method out there and they weren't able to root it. If anyone here has rooted a Linsay device can you point me in the right direction. I have a bunch of preloaded apps I would love to get rid of.
Didi some digging
And read that my drivers were not working properly with Vroot and Kingroot. So I uninstalled my drivers for this device and reinstalled then using PDA.net. Then I ran it through Vroot. After it did its thing it said it was successful rooted. Checked with root checker from playstore and it said it wasn't rooted
So I tried it again with kingroot but when it was finished connecting it said it was rooted and if I wanted to "unroot" or "root again"
That's as far as I've gotten. I didn't want to go further for fear of bricking my tablet.
I also downloaded Supersu, Busybox, and twrp and wasn't able to do anything cause they also said the device wasn't rooted. Anybody know why Vroot and Kingroot would say I'm rooted but these other apps are saying otherwise?
After days of trying to get this thing rooted, I figured out what went wrong. I deleted the kinguser app that comes with Kingroot when rooting. I downloaded the kinguser apk, installed it and got root permission!
So if you have a Linsay F-10XHD tablet, you have to use the kingroot method to root it. I'm still debating if I should replace kinguser with supersu. Don't see any real difference between the two. I might just keep kinguser
Sent from my F-10XHD using XDA Free mobile app
Hope this method works for me just got tablet for free today going to try later hope I don't run into issues now
Kingroot worked beautifully no problems here

Hello, thank you for using XDA Assist.
This is pretty easy so i'll answer you right away, go HERE and download the latest binary files from chainfire and flash them via recovery. Then boot up and uninstall kingroot and all other root apps. You should then have working root and a working root controlling app.
Good luck!

[Completed] A problem NO ONE has been able to solve!

So this is the story and I myself cannot believe how it all happened either. So, I have an Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2. Got it almost to the day it was released. Not a bad phone at all despite all I am about to say. So, it came with a locked bootloader so not an easy root to acquire. After researching, I found a link on XDA about how to root it. It's a very unorthodox exploit and I won't get into it but will leave the link if you want to read about it. So, I used the root method which BTW is with kingroot...but not only kingroot, Antutu is needed as well. Anyway, after a dozen or so attempts, I achieved root access. Needless to say, I was happy. So, I installed Titanium, Xposed Framework, lucky patcher and so on. Well, this is where it gets complicated. Somehow, not really sure, perhaps a conflict with an app I had caused my root go fail....BUT KingUser AND SuperSU were still installed . Root checker told me my device is not properly rooted. Then I tried everything...I mean everything. Factory Reset it well, by now...I'd say 100 times. No good. KingUser and SuperSU still there and no root access. It gets stranger. Some apps I have such as Aptoide will tell me my device IS rooted and some, well...most say it is not. I cannot regain root by any method now because of those installed apps that will not uninstall. And I cannot delete them because my phone SHOULD be rooted with them installed. So that's it for the most part. If ANYONE has a solution, you will win the prize. Trust me, I would be not only grateful but extremely amazed. I have spend I'm sure hundreds of hours doing everything I know and more to repair and....NOTHING. Please HELP!!
