Advice needed to choose device for learning rooting
and custom ROM installation before that I want to tell
I am new to rooting world and all that things....
And I have only TWO device in option to perform practical on it
Devices are as follows:
1. Samsung Galaxy Music Duos (GT-S6012)(ICS 4.0.4)
2. Micromax Canvas Fun (A63)(JB 4.2.2)
Which phone I choose to root 1st in which I will get more
custom ROM availability and many more to learn.
I already tell that am beginner & I don�t even know how to
root so please suggest me such device which will be suitable for me
and even its step by step guide will available on forum...???

Hi All,
I'm Jack Droid and I'm a new member.
I have a Samsung Smartphone model S7390.
Surfing into the internet, I understood that the android development for this device is not so interesting.
Maybe because that device is not so appreciated but anyway, I have this model!
Moreover, I did the root and I found an CWM recovery that it's ok for it but what I have never found, is a custom rom.
My question is : do you know if exist a device that could be very similar to Trend Lite S7390 so that I can use a rom for that and try to flash into my device ?

You are right there isn't much development on this device. You may wish to pose a question in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and one of the experts will respond if there is a Rom.
I will also provide advice from my colleague @demkantor. It is very rare that you can flash a ROM meant for one device to another, for the most part you can never do this and attempting can lead to a brick.

Considering the situation of development on my device,I'm already lucky to have found a CF Root and a CWM recovery that working well !
Anyway, I would like to try a custom rom because I like to try new solution and find better perfomance as possible!
Moreover, I found inf into the web but I didn't find a device that was the same as mine,
The only quite similar is S5820 that has good development but it is dual core cpu if I remember well...
You are better helped by specific experts if you post the question on the forum I linked.

You will need to visit this forum here, find a suitable rom and follow the instructions the develper has taken the time to write.

use kingroot download it from the internet
after installing it open the app then there will be a bar and on it there will be "ROOT" press it. then the rooting process will start and after it completes restart ur device. Then u will get supersu also installed in ur app drawer.

The development sections have many roms to choose from, assuming you have installed a custom recovery.
If not, I suggest reading the guides and frequently asked questions threads in the General and Q&A sections... Usually near the top of the first pages.
There's a lot to read and learn about here... You'll need to dedicate time for this hobby.

Hi guys. I just got my Samsung Galaxy Tab E (SM-T560) and I am wondering how many other members here have this device or tried this device? So far so good and I really love this device. I hope there can be Devs here to customize this device or find a way to make a Lollipop ROM. So far I've already read "How to root any Android devices" topics but for some reason the methods or suggestions for rooting this device including the latest version of KingRoot has failed. I hope there is someone else here that has this device that has already successfully rooted it and can share their methods. There are so many talented Devs here so please I hope one day you guys can make a Custom ROM for this device. Thanks.
