hello yes this phone you can rooted but upgrading the 4.0.4 i dont think you can do it

try the binary root usually works in all clones and chinese

I have a galaxy tab 3 with 4.1.2 firmware,and I wonder what does the PDA and CSC mean in the firmware upgrade to Kitkat?
I don't really understand which firmware to choose...
I want to choose 4.4.2 but dont know which one.

[Completed] Installing Custom ROM onto Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7?

I am basically a noob, but I know my way around computers and I can do a few advanced things. I can follow instructions well. So, could you please tell me, could I install a Custom ROM onto my device? (See title).
I am looking to install CyanogenMod (12). My device is rooted. I am unaccustomed to installing Custom ROMs, in fact this is my first attempt. If there are already instructions on this, please point me that way. I'm new to these forums, but I have used them to solve some of my problems.
Stock SAMSUNG ROM is installed.
