Hey buddy. Rom working well here. Havent checked bluetooth yet but everything else is working. You need to move this to development section so more D850 users can know about it, test it and report. With the way its running, its definately a daily driver.
Edit: bluetooth working too.
Playing a video not in full screen mode has some small grey screens appearing above the video. Double tap to sleep on navigation button would be good to add.

ROM seems great!
Question: How do I install an apk when I don't use gapps and there is no file manager?
edit: I'll try adb.

Sorry about that, I removed a few apps and that was one because I use root explorer... I'll make sure I include a file manager next build.:good:

Flashed rom last night with 80% battery. Setup the phone with that and then calls and emails all day. 3 hrs 22 minutes screen on time with 25% left before i set it on charge via usb. Everything works. @VECTUS bro this is not a tester base, its a perfect stable rom. Since this is just a start, i am excited of what comes in the future Excellent job buddy.

Thanks! I'm glad you mentioned battery. I have an extended 9000 man battery so I didn't even think about battery stats... But glad to see battery is sufficient... Probably be Monday or Tuesday before I get another update out. So Nova Launcher or Asus???

Which battery is that? Been using Nova Launcher for a long time now, makes the rom more perfect.

I'd personally prefer Trebutchet as it is lightest among all or Google Now Launcher. Simple, doing job no hicups. Props for the rom brother. Good to see someone sharing his work (Y)

Meh, I was sober when I wrote that too... Lol. I meant 6000 mah and got it here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PB...+the+lg+g3&dpPl=1&dpID=51fpBOl01EL&ref=plSrch. Got a black silicon cover so that baby bump is barely noticeable http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PI...+the+lg+g3&dpPl=1&dpID=41X2FE+umkL&ref=plSrch... Yeah I was learning towards Nova. I used the asus launcher in a prior rom for the N6. Kind of burned out on it... Trebuchet is a good light launcher. But with nova you can theme, screen off etc etc...

Seen some people reporting black screen on front cam while using skype or other video chatting apps on CM13 based roms. No issue here with spectrum. Chatted from almost an hour and no issues.

Please include latest CM changes in your next build, there's a bad wifi bug. (see the last two or so pages of the AICP rom thread if interested)

In regards to the Themes section under System Settings, is this something that will eventually be filled using Tools or OTA when they are ready, or are we most likely going to find these goodies on the next build?

Themes will come with time. The base is starting to slow down in regards to changes. Not worth theming when the framework is totally different next build. It will come soon

Ras i was wondering if you plan to have more customization control like with redemption or is it basically wysiwyg? I liked being able to change how my notification toggle were words and i could show or hide them by tapping a button. Just wondering if i should expect something like that or keep an eye out for redemption updates.

I think what we have planned for Melchizedek is going to be leaner than Redemption. I'm sure we will add more features as time goes on. If you want to full boat of features, Redemption will be updated in the next day or two. Nice to have choices, I hope.

this one doesn't require any extra radio flashing does it? Also is it safe to flash after all the steps... as far as the kernel part... It mentions something about flashing someone elses kernel... Thanks and the pics look sick!! Cant wait till my phone gets here....
Shouldn't have to flash a radio, but you can look to see if a different one works better for you. And as to the kernel, only use the one in the rom.
Thanks, Ill see how it goes!
I am using it nouw for a few days, runs very smooth! No big bugs or whatsoever.
Only the videocam doesn't work for me, can't play the recorded video on the phone..
Great job!
someone can post a link to the wallpaper? thx

Dude, please read the OP for the ROM.
"-Custom Camera Launcher that launches Angel Camera for stills and VideoCam Illusion for Videos
(You need a player like Rock Player Lite or MXPlayer to Play the Videos)"

I think the toggles in the notificationbar are in Redemption better working.
Cause they are so small i can't touch them properly, and especially WIFI is annoying to enable/disable.
There is a big delay before it reacts on your touch, so many times I don't know if I selected it right, and start to hit it multiple times
The place they are now is good, but in Redemption the toggles are much bigger, and easier to select.

Agreed. I like the On/Off toggles much better, too. Just wish Mel had the same sort of notification bar toggles like Red. Other than that minor difference, Mel sounds like a great ROM!
I have problem with playing games, screen not responded.

Yes its based off 1.2 with the menu button change, I will be posting a flashable zip to remove that feature also because I personally would prefer the task manager button and on screen menu button.
also will update OP now with md5 and proper credit to virtuous team and others.

I've actually got it down to 299 mb rite now and I'm still optimizing and then doing the status bar changes both should help conserve more space.
I'll also make a complete list of apps in the rom but I actually put some back in the new build that I was missing during daily use.
To answer your question though yes gtalk and mail are in there
This is the kind of rom I'm looking forwards to. ;D
Nice work, did you notice any improvements in battery-life and/or performance?
Been playing with it the last day and a couple of things:
- When the screen is off and I get a call, I have to turn the screen on via power button, swipe to unlock, enter my pattern passcode, and only then can I see who is calling and answer/reject.
- Youve removed clock/alarm? Cant find it anywhere.
Other than that been pretty rock solid and smooth. Battery life seems good too

I'll be posting an update late tonight for me probably early morning for euro users. I'll look intothe lockscreen issues.
And I did actually remove the clock but I've added it back I got a bit carried away LOL alls well though in the new release
This rom seems promising, what i suggest is to make first post more details about the rom, im coming from htc hd2 and i really dont want to go to other threads and get back here. What i mean post the requirements of flashing this rom, battery expectations some recommended applications to be installed.
Looking forward for the upcoming updates as i still didnt buy the phone, stcuk @ the decision between one x and one s. The only thing that makes think about the one x is the development board compared to the one s ....
Can i have a link by hotfile or an direct download ? I can't download by 4shared.
Thanks by advance

Coming from Samsung roms, and really new to HTC & Sense. Hence my question. Why is 300mb considered as 'slim' when on my old sgs we had 70mb slim rom? Is it that HTC roms need to contain some extra stuff or something else? I have noticed that on my wife's Sensation as well. Looking forward to try this rom.

Its HTC. The shipped rom had about 800mb on /system. Considering that, 300mb is pretty slim.
AOSP/CM will be much smaller though, once it works properly
Hopefully you won't have problems with the camera on ics. Sense Roms don't have a camera Hal..asop does..nightmare
Question anyway..what's the deal with cm7 could that be adapted?

Idk why it feels slow like TF300 JB I really dont remember how fast was this tablet with ICS... Idk if it will be fast and smooth like TF300 with jb..

Yes, you can get back to ICS any time you like. I have jumped between CM builds and ICS a few times, just remember to flash the stock kernel using fastboot or whatever method since TWRP wont restore boot backups.
I would first like to say that I love this! Though it has issues. It feels stable for a first build!
I encountered the following issue though: When selecting a custom stationary wallpaper from the gallery, after cropping the wallpaper, it defaults back to the green one. Selecting from the included wallpapers works fine though, of course with the odd tearing though.

Works fine for me, works great in third party apps too. Not sure why the behavior of yours would be any different unless you use xposed or other mods...

Nah I'm not using anything of the sort, and yeah I dunno what the deal is. I tried both apex and nova prime. The only app I seem to have it work with it the XDA app.
I'll try reflashing.
Hey guys, new build is up in the op. Enjoy!

Gave Tesla 1.8 and tipsy a try the other day, I prefer Tesla due to a few small differences, but GZ ROMs make and has made great ROMs for flo. Thanks.
Bump for excellence. Tipsy 1.4 just came out, giving that a run right now, but hope we see an update nonetheless. Tesla is sick.

Think tesla is not going to be on a regular update cycle...
I agree, Tesla just pips tipsy...Although I love the idea of visiting the bar as opposed to rom settings...

That's the impression I got too. I saw that other devices are up to Tesla 1.9.1, and got a bit jealous lol. In all seriousness though, the last few gz rom releases for flo have few dls. Understandable why they don't build flo more regularly. Tipsy 1.4 is awesome, but I always preferred Tesla.
Tesla 2.0rc is up!

I use slim style, but decided to check it out on stock, and, yeah, bottom right clear all position is unresponsive on stock.
Absolutely excellent ROM, many thanks to GZ ROMs.

I don't ever use system sounds, can't confirm. Gesture input doesn't seem to work on the stock keyboard, may just be due to the gapps I use, may try a different package or take a look at the .libs in /system/app/latinIME. Overall, awesome though, like the light theming and reboot animation a lot. The kernel adiutor tile and breathing notifications alone are huge additions, not to mention the theming.

As you say, overall, fantastic work...
As to maybe your gapps issue, I would recommend du gapps clear/tbo...since their last update I've flashed them on cm/aosp with no issues whatsoever...

Tested, and works nice on XT1527 a little bit issue it's the "Lockscreen Background" isn't working, i don't know why, it's a silly thing but, the rest is working flawlessly! Thanks for your work
no lte
With all due respect, this is a cool ROM, but on the sprint variant of xt1526, LTE still doesn't work. If you could find a way to fix it, that would be awesome!
Testers Needed

Today I have made another build with some changes made to LTE stuffs and I want someone to test it!
Ill test it
Every thing worked fine for me, the baked in kernel was pretty good but it has some minor hiccups meaning its a little laggy with transition animations and things alike but overall its a well made and stable ROM

I will definately test it. If the lte works, it will be the first custom rom i know of that works with lte on the xt1526 sprint variant. Can't wait to test it!
On xt1526, sprint variant, LTE is not working.

Ok, thanks, will look into this issue and try to fix it
Somebody knows how to fix the WhatsApp compression bug? I mean, when i record audio, the file it's compressed, but in a heavy way... i don't know if i'm explaining this right but, i would like to fix this issue
I tested on XT1524 half day, here everything works fine, lte, camera, audio call is good, etc ... only problem if I change the background of the lockscreen is also changed in the Home. :good:
thanks for your work
Thank you for this ROM! It has all the features I want, plus MORE!
With almost all other ROMs I had an odd problem in playing podcasts. Sometimes an episode would play, but I got no sound, other times I would touch 'Play' and the podcast app indicated it was playing but the elapsed time counter would not progress. I have not experienced that problem with this ROM so far.
I also found in other ROMs that the camera's rotation from portrait to landscape would pause for about a second. On this ROM there is still a pause but not for quite so long.
To this ROM I added two things: Kernel Aduitor and the Squid kernel. They perhaps were not necessary but I wanted to install them anyway.
Overall an EXCELLENT ROM in my experience (of a few days). It certainly has the very best boot animation.
I'm really excited to see a new ROM for our Surnia. Hope to test it out soon. Now we just need an AOSP based ROM.

I hope to fix this lag by the next week. I personally worked on the trees to bring this ROM to stable state.

I am currently working to fix that. The variant specific configs are declared here and I guess there is some problem with the XT1526 sprint variant.
I personally checked the kernel for carrier entries and positively, I found there is an entry for "sprint" here and I made sure the file is passed during compile.
Give me sometime to analyse the problem more and fix it. If possible do get me logs from the sprint variant (esp. when turning on the LTE mode in Network Settings).

Thanks for the review! :good: I will still make sure that the ROM performs even more, by maintaining the ratio of both performance and battery life. In future weeks, I will try to set milestones and work on the issue.

Thanks for the answer and this issue it's a general device issue. I told before there's a bug (Now this is ROM-Specified) about the lockscreen background, it changes both wallpapers (the launcher and the lockscreen), but it's a little thing, the rom is awesome and i'm using it as daily driver!
