First virtual apps & games stock exchange will open - Opportunity for your app/s? - Android Apps and Games

Hi Guys,
Last time I found very interested and new website named Gamastock which is the first apps & games stock exchange where users can trade virtual apps stocks and make profit, so if you are developer looking to get extra downloads on your apps and/or earn some extra money this is a great opportunity! Basically, how they told me, it works the same as tradition stock exchange but without losing your app or company ownerships.
you get supported, get downloads + recognition and you earn money - more people trade with your virtual app stocks more you get...
It is now opened only for developers who are joining them or are interested.
If you are interested Their website name is Gamastock.com
I think it is a great idea and from the first look they seem to be very nice and fair. I am really interested into joining them and hope this Thread will help you
I hope this will help you and your apps to get successful

Help a student :)

Hi, I'm a student who develops for Windows Phone 7 who doesn't have the resources to adquire a device, but I've found a way to get one, and I need your kind help. I've published three apps to the marketplace, which you can find searching Leonardo Ferrer, or they're called: InterestCalculator, Resistor Calculator and Letter Tap. I would appreciate if you help me by downloading them, they're small, nice and free, and rate them with three stars or more. That would help me getting my device and develop apps and games for the Windows Phone 7 community.
Thanks a lot for your help
Lol, What?
I'm guessing he wants us to download and use his apps so that he gets revenue from the ads in his apps (considering they're apparently free).
Therefore with this increased revenue he can then buy a phone.
Sounds very SPAMMY to me
I'll do it just cos I'm nice ^.^

[APP] Looking for Android alpha testers for a money tracking application I created.

My main goal for this project was to keep the application simple, yet effective. I don't like cluttered applications, however, I like ones which get things done! My new application "Simple Register" for lack of a better name, is just that (in my opinion.)
It functions similar to a checkbook register, where you can easily track your money. You can set an initial starting balance if different than $0, and from there credit money or debit money from the account. There is no linking to bank accounts or anything of that sort. I wanted to keep this simple.
I am looking for some Alpha testers who track their expenses and who are willing to give good feedback in order to improve the application. It is definitely not complete in terms of features, which is part of the reason I am here. I know there are things which can be added, that don't make the application too complex, yet can improve the overall experience.
The UI is currently not the best as I have tried to devote more time to functionality and have not had a chance to get around to making it look "pretty" yet. I will say, however, it is not by any means ugly. It is simple looking, which should make it extremely easy for someone of any skill level to use!
With that being said, I want to reach out (with this post) to get a few Alpha testers. I have an Alpha community setup through Google+ at the moment which will give you access to the Alpha version of the application through the Google Play Store.
If you are interested, please join the following Google+ community, which will provide the link to sign up for the Alpha testing (through google) and allow you to download the application. Membership will be limited (so that I do not get overwhelmed with users and feedback) so if you do not get in right away, please be patient.
Simple Register Alpha - Google+ Communities
In the future, I plan for there to be a paid version of the application (this may change.) Currently I am limiting the number of accounts someone is able to create, and there are a few more features I am planning which would be in the paid version. Those who have helped test the application, will be provided the paid version free of charge.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Mobile Application For Business perspective...! Worth or not?

Hello,
Now a days, mobiles are really helpful devices in any industry. People use mobile phones to surf the internet or shop from online store. It is useful to grow your business via using different applications. Is it good to develop mobile application for business or not? There are too many companies available who develop mobile applications. How to choose best mobile application development company from all of them?
Thank You,
Calvin Hewitt
It is ofcourse possible to develop an app for a business and it is generally not very expensive unless you want the app to do a lot. Not knowing what business you are in, if I were in your position I would do the following:
1 - Figure out what you want the app to do (provide a service or provide information)
2 - Have similar functionality on your corporate website with maybe a mobile version (ability to place orders, or track them, or view information)
3 - Search for app developers online in your country/city so that you can personally meet them for the next step
4 - Contact some developers with what you have in mind and ask for a quote for developing and maintaining the app, at the same time you will figure out what they can and can't do + see examples of apps they have done in the past to judge their capability
5 - If you feel confident you can try and search for and contact app developers in other parts of the world like China, India, etc who may do the job cheaper and as good
Good luck Calvin!
I think android development has huge potential of being a viable business but there is a lot of competition. From making my own app as a hobby and releasing it getting the download isn't guaranteed. I putting all eggs in one basket hoping an app will be a great busies is a risk one of the main reasons it is a sideline project/hobby for me, and maybe there is a slim chance of something i make gives the security to make it my own job.

App Reviews in a national UK magazine

Hello All,
I've been a mostly lurking member of XDA for a long time. I'm a tech journalist writing for The Inquirer (www.theinquirer.net) but I'm posting about my new role, which includes taking over the software reviews in Computer Shopper (UK) - the biggest selling print mag of its type. For the first time, 'software' is going to include apps. So I'm inviting devs and publishers to submit their apps for review consideration.
Rules are as follows:
1. Your app must be finished. It's in your own best interest not to send a work in progress.
2. Your app must be available in the Google Play store, and if there is a paid option, I need access to the full version via code, no apks please. Also outline all IAP please, so I know when I review.
3. Games are welcome but I'll be upfront and say that apps are more likely to get space than games, but try your luck if you want.
4. Apps must be new - either since the start of 2016, or had a major update/revamp/version
5. Submitting an app does not mean you will get reviewed. There are a millions of apps on the store, and I get two pages a month for software.
If you're interested, please PM me with details of the app you're proposing and I'll let you know if it will suit our audience.
Look forward to hearing from you.

The Future in an app

Hello girls and guys,
in my opinion we are far enough to create an app that put the future in the pocket of our trousers.
My vision is to pay with this application in every nation because this app could be the start of the new currency of earth.get credits for buying a google play store card and get the value in credits on your account. The banks wont like that because it should be cost free for the customers.
My vision is that the citizen office have all information about me,they should know where i live, what i am earning and what grade of education i got, If i change town they can request the data and i have to confirm that on my phone. Taxes and earnings should be billed by this application to make it fair for everyone to work at another place, another country or work for every day at another company for 3 hours. Everything is registered and accept within seconds and the paper war should end.
Messaging could be revolutionized as well.A pdf letterbox with automatic generated folders help you to keep the official stuff under control, your bank can send you the date and the time for a meeting and with a simple click on yes you have a new event in your calendar.
Politicans and governmets can push simple yes/no/reason why surveys on your phone to improve their leading style and decide about the things that should happen in the state,or city or global.
Did he said global? yes, global desicions for an global government with globalized laws and rights and a global language for an global currency would bring us to nan strong community of earth. Brought by an application, thats the way i imagine the future. Access to tv,radio and libraries save room, sattelites and transmission towers. An open API for companies can give their workers benefits like access to specific books, data about the company,an stock market plugin or connection to distribution software without touching private data on the phone.
If you want to work in an other country the built in english translator will help you to have no language issiues and with sharing your confirmed data your educational work wont get lost because of other school systems. This application is also your global ID card . Trusting in someone could be easier with an application like this.
I am planning to create this app,but maybe you have more ideas that are a total important for an app that bring us in a better society.I also need an developer for this project, maybe you are reading this and want to cooperate. My job is it to collect ideas, bring the finished application to the companies, governments and build a network of all nations, next to my job, to make the future good.
Of course, this sounds like an NSA dream, but if we develope this together in an open source project faster than a big company, than i think we have nothing to worry.
Thank you for your time and comments.
