I know this is early but i wanna see whats the battery life for people before i pull the trigger.
We need to know the Processor and Carrier so please SPECIFY!!!
WOW, a bit too early to start the collective paranoia of this thread. How soon until some guy posts 24hr SOT achieved under stupid conditions.

Do you have a link to this reviewers webiste/results?
I saw some more info about this in another thread about this guy doing a general usage test and seeing the results on the battery. Apparently this guy(mentioned above) was using a lot of various apps and hitting the phone pretty hard. At the end of the day he had done 5hrs of Screen On Time and still had 11% battery left. This was with the Edge.

About 15hrs+ of heavyish usage. 4hr 51mins of Screen On Time. Over 2hrs of talk time. 11% left. Not bad at all!

Yes ! Exactly Andrea Galeazzi ! I have only seen the reply now ...
Today or tomorrow he will post a full review on his site ... But only in Italian !
At the end ... 5hr 25mins of Screen Time with 2% Left ... Very Good Result !!
I am cuirous to know as well as I am tired of 2-3 hours of SOT and less then 8 hours of standby. Stopped by a Best Buy that had a Samsung rep with the phone already that he let me play with. In his battery settings it should standby for 2.5 days and SOT of just over 11 hours. To me this seems unreal and the battery graph had sharp spike from 100 to 0 and was for the most part empty.
I'm very curious to see the differences between the Exynos and the Snapdragon versions. Last year's SD 810 was a disaster when it came to battery life.
On my Note 5 get about 36 hrs and 5 hrs SOT. With the Edge 7 and the beefy 3600 mha battery I'm expecting 48 hrs and about 6-7 SOT.
Battery life always sucks the first several days.

Those numbers look great! What screen brightness do you have it at?
Over a day standby and 3 hour SOT? Not bad. Though, could be a tad better all things considered. Is that the Snapdragon S7 Edge?

1 day standby with 3 hours SOT and % left is quite pathetic imho...I bought an LG G3 as temporary device (sold my S4, pre-orderd s7 edge gold) and it's doing at least 6 SOT. Depending on my usage, I can stretch it to 9.5 SOT over 2 full days!
Right now my LG G3 has been for 2 days and 28min on the battery (after full charge) and it still has 9% battery left, with 8h41min SOT...and 1h19min of phonecalling.
I am still hoping that the S7 Edge won't be lackluster when using it on low-brightness (just as I do on the G3). G3 on auto-brightness only does ~4.5 - 5.5 SOT on a full day. I use my phone too much so it dies usually at midnight.

You're comparing a (very likely ) modded LG G3 with some custom ROM to a stock ROM that he only had for 1-2 days and haven't had time to settle in yet.
And just so you know, when the LG G3 first came out it didn't fare too well in battery life review. So it's definitely not the battery life king that you claim it to be without some heavy hand modding done to it to have it squeeze the amount of SOT you claim.
It's funny how people always pull the my phone can pull a 8 hr SOT blah blah blah.
Aslong as it gets me through a days heavy usage I'll be happy I'm more than happy to have to charge it daily just want to be able to get through a day at work . Checking facebook , internet watching football on a saturday and I'll be happy

I haven't heard anyone post their findings... what are they seeing in terms of amount of battery life? Days? Hours?
I posted my screenshots in the other ZeroLemon thread. To briefly recap, on my first discharge, I managed almost 9 hrs of screen-on time on almost 50 hrs of total on-time.
normally, it is about 1 hours. However, it also last longer or shorter. It is not exact result.

That doesnt seem too good for a 7500mAh battery. Thats nearly three times as large as the stock battery assuming the mAh rating is correctly showcased. I would expect at least 15 hours screen on time.

But then the phone was on for nearly 50 hrs. The screenshots I have seen of the 5200mah battery results showed about 9 to 10 hrs of screen on time with the phone on for about 24 to 25 hours.
If I were to watch movies or TV shows from a 100% charge, I would be able to achieve 13 hrs or more easily. And also, it was my first discharge and I flashed my phone several times during the first cycle, which also messed up my battery calibration and stats.
In the end, however, I'm not too concerned about the absolute validity of zerolemon's claim because the battery more than exceeds what I was looking for from an extended battery and I don't have to stress or worry about the battery running low or dying on me.
well my concern is if this beast is bulky just like their GS3
The initial charge (53%) lasted about 10 hours.
Sent from Spaceball One.
I'm still on my first run, but here are my stats so far on my very 1st cycle. Sorry, I'm on my work PC so I can't provide screenshots at the moment:
Current Battery Level: 58%
It's been off the charger for 1 day, 11 hours
Screen On Time: 4hrs 41 minutes
So if it follows suit the rest of the way, I'll be looking at roughly 11+ hours screen on time on the very first cycle, which is normally the worst performance you'll get on a battery. Well worth the $40 folks!
I believe most people are like me and they are only in the 1st or 2nd cycle. I am working on my first full cycle now. Nothing crazy so far, 3hrs 30 minutes of on screen with 55% left and the phone has been unplugged for 26 hours now.
I won't post any screenshots until the 5th cycle.

This battery is nothing short of fantastic. Got it for 30$. Usually always get at least 2 1/2 days of use and that's internet use, music, and GPS. Bulk bothered me at first but now I don't notice it.

Loving mine so far, battery went a bit faster than i though but i was out in an area with no signal for a few hours so its to be expected. 1d 9hrs on this charge so far and 41% left, screen time of about 4 hours. Not really surprised due to the lack of a signal though. Even if it doesn't work as well as others think it should it is total worth the extra $40 and bulk. I dont worry about my phone crapping out now, also I'm still on my first discharge. I left it plugged in for about 13 hours prior to unplugging it for the first time. I have had a few spikes of a few % but nothing bad. This is all on mobile data as well, dont have wifi set up at home yet (stupid comcast).

When comparing stock battery to an extended battery, I think it's important to compare not just the percentage level left + screen-on time but also the total number of hours the phone has been on since unplugged from the wall outlet.
Here is a comparison between the stock 2600mah battery versus the ZeroLemon 7500mah battery at the same 2% battery left state.
Stock (OEM 2600mah, 2% left, 5 hrs 6 mins screen-on time, total runtime of 16 hrs 4 mins):

}
ZeroLemon (7500mah, 2% left, 8 hrs 28 mins screen-on time, total runtime of 49 hrs 16 mins):
The ZL screenshot above was taken during the first discharge cycle. The GSam battery stats, however, got altered because I flashed the Crossbreeder mod several times (TWRP, reboot), as well as several reboots for the Xposed Nottach module tweaks. The real screen-on time and total runtime on the ZeroLemon should really be a bit more than 9 hrs and 50 hrs and some minutes.
When you compare the number of hours the phone was able to run off the charger until hitting 2%, the ZL battery provided 3x the life.
It's been 11 hours off of a full charge and I'm at 74%. I'd post a screencap of the battery statistics so far but I had to remove the battery to put on an iLoome screen protector (just got it in today).
I am beyond impressed so far. Today will be my first full day with it. Here are my results so far. Took off charger around 7:30a. 76% after 7 hours!!!!!

Granted that's not a lot of time, but I've used all my phones this same way during a work day. None of them have been at 76% after 7 hours.
The Nougat doze works incredibly well. last night from 11pm to 6:30 am the phone only lost 2% power. So when the phone is left alone, the standby is insane. Note that this is with the second screen on all night as well.
67% battery left on 51 minutes of screen on time over 12 hours and 8 minutes. Not bad for the first day. I expect it'll get better as the battery "finds itself."
I really didn't get into the screen until about lunchtime today. Using the phone for Poweramp it knocked about 10% off of full before lunch.
I don't have screenshots as I charged my phone before I saw this thread.
Today was a very busy day for me. I got roughly 4.5 hours of talk time, and 4 hours of SOT for about 9 hours with 20 something % battery life. My Note 7 wouldn't give me that much when I did have it, and my HTC 10 could never give me anything close to that.
Disabled a few apps and using ForceDoze app, battery is amazing so far!
Great battery life. Almost better than my note 7????
I lost almost 15% overnight Went to bed around 12:30, woke up about 9:45a. Didn't touch the phone at all.
Anyone know how to shrink the graph to show more time?
I went to bed with 74% and woke up with 74% . Not time to do the screenshot since im waiting for the phone to get to 0% to charge it up to a 100% again then do my testing of how long would it take for the phone to turn off while watching a video in 1440p (im going to use any 8 hour videos that has constantly moving images and see how it does.)
Im really hoping i get decent battery life, my note 7 was amazing i would average around 8 hours sot and squeezed out 9 a few times, so far 1st day with the v20 im at 47% with 3.5 hours sot. Id be happy with 7 hours sot

What were you doing to get that SOT? Seems unlikely using many GPU heavy apps. YouTube web and books?
I got 5 hours with Note 7, but SOT is relative to the user. My Note 4 with the new MM update, reset to stock and new battery gets the same.

Tell me what you think
I went from 100% to 5% in 2 hours 57 minutes. It would have lasted up to 3 hours 5 minutes. Hey, i think it is great!!!! Lol do not think im a fool. Read below....
I was watching several videos, not on 720p nor 1080p, but on 1440p , full brightness, no autobrightness, wifi on and with 22 out of 35 apps constantly synchronizing . Also, speakers as loud as they could get. Ah, and recording the screen with an screen recorder app (sooo that is also added to my result). I was about to upload the video but... According to the app the file got corrupted because it has to be recorded with only one orientation and i used both orientations... Sooo, the video is gone lol. I will be doing a 1080p to see how long it last.
My 1st day with a full charge and i managed 5 hours 20 minutes SOT, hope it gets a little better once it settles in
way better than note 7 all day a bunch of emails many pictures at work and and it:good: end at 78%.

Not particularly impressed with battery here - 37 minutes of SOT on 6 hours off charge and I'm at 71%. WhatsApp Web is running but I haven't done anything intensive.
I'm hoping the battery life picks up on mine over the next few days. 5 hours off charge with a bit of app setup (just configuration, the installs were already done) and about half an hour of photography left the phone at 50%.
I'll give it a little bit more time to settle before I panic and return it for a Pixel XL

This is a very important thread and please all report truthfully. It doesn't do anyone any good when there rouge posts come in with 6 hrs SOT with 20% left. I am on the fence between the Pixel and the XL I was pretty sure the battery life would be suspect with the regular Pixel. Pretty much the same thing that happened with the Nexus 5X and the 6P. 6P was much better. Keep the posts coming please.

I would like to see some screen shots of battery life after a week of use. One day doesn't make the battery life. The battery life is what will be the deciding factor for me. I have the S7 and I'm happy but I'm also a phone hore and I always want the latest and greatest. I ordered the phone from Google and it's not expected until Thanksgiving, but if I hear great things over the next few weeks, I made get it on my Verizon account.

I'm not either. High accuracy mode was on the whole time
Out (on LTE only, no Wifi) and about regular usage (web, news, maps/navigation) - 13%/hour ~7.6 hours SOT
Camera (because the camera is THAT great) + Google photos editing and uploading - 17-25%/hour ~ 4-6 hours SOT
At home on Wifi regular usage- 6-7%/hour ~ 15 hours SOT
So was doing some testing for battery life. Used it till it shut off just a few minutes ago. I had taken a screen shot at 1% about 5min before it powered down figuring it was close. I took the phone off the charger yesterday at about 6:30am. I am not sure why wifi shows as 0% but I have been on wifi most of the day. I really liked the old Android battery screens better that showed wifi and cellular signal strength data as well.
From my experience the SOT is not even the problem. How is the standby battery consumption? The thing is I get 10 hours SOT on my Moto Z Play if I do a lot. BUT if I use the phone only lightly I'll still don't get more than 2 days battery life even though you would expect much more.

Ambient features, how often your weather / email ect sync, how strong your cell signal is, how often your connected to WiFi instead of 3g/4g, and location services all affect stand by time.

Yeah I know but the thing is: compared to standby times of my iPhone 7 Plus the Pixel XL 1 standby was a joke.
I have installed basically the same apps on both devices. So I just hope that Android will finally catch up with Android 8, because up to now all Google initiatives to have better battery life were pretty bad.
That's why I would be interested to hear how this is going on the XL2.
This is going for 9+ hours sot!
Why can't I post pics? Says I don't have permission to post.

Mind sharing your settings/apps? I'm at the same percentage as you but barely getting 2hours sot :/ I don't think I have any battery draining apps installed besides instagram and snapchat. Maybe its standby drain? I lost almost 10% overnight (6 hours) and I'm not sure if this is normal.

You also have 10 hours more off the charger. I think that could easily result in the 1 hour difference in screen on time.

True!! I have all the locations and everything on..nothing changed..4 emails sync8ng.. injustice simcity games..fb snapchat insta all installed..been on lte whole time..this phone is a beast..always used htc phones which are not bad..this is first time using google phone..however, eagerly waiti g for htc u11+ announcement..if its tempting i m8ght return pixel and go for htc
Pretty solid screen on time binge watching stranger things season 2. Honestly I think I could get another hr or more still with 22% left.
I'm on day 2 of using my UK Note 20 Ultra and the battery life is leaving a lot to be desired. Today I'm currently sitting at 49% battery with 1 hour 30 minutes screen on time. I'm using it very lightly as I'm mostly desk based while working.
I know the phone is still "Learning usage patterns" but this seems very little usage to be sitting below 50%. Is anyone else seeing similar?

similar scenario for me unfortunately, i got 3 hours SOT which bought it down to 14% before i charged. Will give a week or so to see if it improves before deciding to return it or not.
Yeah you need to give it time and completely discharge the battery before charging again
Same Uk Model, its been absolutely appaling.. the things also getting too hot all the time doing basic stuff but forcing the dim screen. I'm really not too happy with this so far.. just had an update so maybe this will improve things... though as above gonna give it a week or so to see if things settle down.

Same here this thing gets super hot, just light browsing socials the screen gets warm. Just typing this out had lost me 1%. Have you got bad standby drain also? Mines terrible with absolutely nothing running. Samsung are theives not upgrading the chipset in this phone but giving the US brand spanking new Snapdragons?
Today was my 1st day using the note 20 ultra at work and I also had below par battery life, got around 2.5 hours sot during a 12 hour shift at the end of which the battery was below 10%, phone was on medium/low brightness using lte with low reception and my phone also got warm to the touch when browsing.
It takes about a week or more to settle for sure but these early reports are looking really bad @ the Exynos especially in terms of batterylife and unusual heating.
I ended today on 13% battery with 2hrs52mins SOT. Also find the phone gets extremely hot when doing basically anything for an extended period. Can't see me keeping this past the end of the first week, there's so much ground it would have to make up.
should i pull the trigger ? i can save mad money on the exynos version
i mean roms will be amazing for it
which can help it
Overnight about 8h now use battery dropped 12%
I'm not an exynos fan but getting 4:30 SOT and no heat at all. I haven't opened any games yet though just installed them
Just done a rolling video test with the Note 8 and Note 20 ultra. Both on full brightness playing the same set of files.
The Note 8 display is brighter and more colourful. After 3 hours or so the Note 20 ultra has 82% left and the Note 8 has 76%
If you look at the difference in battery capacity (4500 vs 3300) and the difference in screen size then I would say the Note 8 performs better even with the brighter display.
Im currently on snapdragon, but my s10+ was exynos and I never had this drain you guys are experiencing. This is unacceptable. I hope you guys can figure it out.
Remember the battery takes a couple of days to "learn your usage"
I never trust those marketing gimmick said it will learn your usage and batt life will improves... Just put all apps you did not use into deep sleep and frequent use into sleep. That give me 6 to 7 hours SOT 120hz with 10% left
4th day in Exynos. Phone has been on for 3 hours, 45 mins SOT consisting of browsing socials, no apps running in background 75% battery remaining ? This is terrible, can't see it getting better....
This is mine...
I'm getting about the same as my Note 10+. Moderate use all day and still have 30 to 40% left. So I'm happy.

3 hours 45 min sot and now you are left with 75% battery?
What is the stand by you are getting?

Sorry didn't make that clear enough. The phone had been on for 3 hours, only have 45 mins SOT left with 75% battery
It has been decent for me so far. This is the first charge cycle. But i was at home in wifi all the time (with 120hz adaptive setting)
