Im looking at getting a new case for my Redmi Note 3 Pro, so what i wanted to know please if the Pro and regular Redmi Note 3 phones the same dimensions ?

hennessy (redmi note 3 mtk) and kenzo (redmi note 3 qualcomm, redmi note 3 pro) has same dimensions. But kate (also redmi note 3 qualcomm, redmi note 3 pro but with more network bands) has taller body. Check your phone first if it is kenzo or kate.
Standard is 150mm tall, Kate is 152mm
Standard case won't fit, even silicone ones,they don't stretch well on the connectors.
Guys whats your opinion about Redmi Y2 and redmi Note 5. Considering Redmi Y2 supports project treble, is it really worth to buy Redmi Y2 over redmi Note 5 (Indian version or Redmi 5 Plus global name)
Y2 or S2 has newer hardware features. Overall best.

Dual rear camera, front flash, very good front camera, display is HD instead of Full HD, so we get better battery life and better GPU performance.
Note 5 is much better.... (In CPU , GPU speed)

Well Redmii note 8 is not even born yet, but yes as per teasers redmi note 8 will be equipped with qualcomm snapdragon 665, so realme 5 pro with qualcomm snapdragon 712 is better but redmi note 8 pro will come with mediatek helil G90T and liquid cooking, so redmi note 8 pro will be better that realme 5 pro , price will be main determining factor.
If you talk about Redmi Note 8, not the pro then yes. Definitely. Note 8 has an inferior chipset, emmc storage and quick charge 4, probably 18W charge at max and Samsung camera. Realme 5 Pro has newer, smaller nanometer technology based chipset, higher performance, ufs storage, faster vooc 3.0 charging 20W and Sony camera. I'd say yes. If you're talking about Redmi Note 8 Pro that has 270k antutu performance I'd say no. It's not better but still more timeless for mediatek won't release source codes. It will barely get updates, no tampering rom, kernel, maintenance by user etc. So I'd not buy Note 8 Pro except if it was 20€ cheaper than Realme 5 Pro which is not happening.

Redmi note 8 and POCO M2 PRO both have camera dust issue.
And
Redmi note 7 is quite old.
I don't like realme, samsung and other brands.
Should I wait for Redmi Note 10?
