Hi everyone!
I've just bought my Xperia L and I'm very happy with it.
I rooted it but I have 3 problems:
1) There isn't a reboot option. Or is it only in my phone? The only option that gives when long pressing the power button is to power off, plane mode and cap. screen.
2) When I start the phone after turning off, some app icons disappear, is this because I moved the apps to the internal memory?
3) I use the app "Clean Master" to keep my phone fine... but when it suggests me to move an app to the SD and I click on the option, the only option that appears is for moving it to the internal memory. Is it impossible to install apps in the SD?

AD 1, no its not only for you, its for everyone that there is no reboot option
AD 2 try upgrading to 4.2.2
AD 3 unfortunatelly nope u can only do that using link2sd or u can use trick that will make think that ur sd card is ur internal storage

Root your phone and install Xposed & Gravitybox.

1 -> that's normal. Root your phone and install Xposed and 'Advanced Reboot Menu'
2 -> That's a bug in the 4.2.2 Firmware 0.26. Update to 1.12.

How can I update to 1.12? Everytime I enter the update section, the phone searches for new updates and keeps telling me that I have the latest software.

Gravitybox does not exist in the play store!
The only "Gravity box" app is a game that seems to have the periodic table of elements.

Download the framework from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Then download the module within the app. Gravitybox or 'advanced reboot menu'. Activate it and reboot.
Voila...

Its not available in Play Store. Google 'Xposed' and download the 'Xposed Installer' (apk, root req.) On the same site look for 'Browse modules' and search for 'GravityBox [JB]' Install it too and activate it in the Xposed Installer app. After an reboot open Gravitybox and click on 'Power Tweaks' there's an option for 'Advanced power menu'. There are a lot of other tweaks in the app to try.

I tried using PC Companion and it also tells me that I have the latest software... maybe it's because of my location.
I'm from Argentina and my XL knows it... that might be the reason, I believe... but I bought it without any carrier.
Thanks anyway! Now I'm going to try the Xposed thing.
So for all of you people who want Xposed runing on Lolipop (my is on Future 3.2) , there is few problems that i came acros when i flashed xposed zip file in recovery , problems are that apps force closing infinitely "LG Home stoped" , "LG SmartCover stoped", and you cant use phone at all , so u have to go recovery and reflash rom . I found zip file that helps in this situation .
1. Flash XposedHelper.zip from recovery
2.Reboot
3. Flash xposedalpha.zip from official xposed lolipop thread
4. iinstall xposed installer apk
t. reboot .
5. Enjoy working xposed on lolipop
I didnt made this zip , so i dont take any credit for that . I just wanted to help .

Duno , i just read that disable these services that cause phone to hang with FC . Procedure is explained ....

Really ? i dont have that issue ...Do a clean install , wipe all-install rom-reboot-flash xposed helper-install xposed apk ...and please see if it helps . Ty for feedback .

OK I did a clean install and Networks and Tethering still crashes with 'Unfortunately, Settings has stopped'.
ROM is D83820C_TWN_Pure. GravityBox(LP) seems to work fine, but I need VPN and tethering.
Interestingly even though Network and Tethering Settings crashes, I can use shortcuts to access VPN and Tethering so I'm quite happily using Xposed now

this may sound silly but how you create shortcuts to access VPN and Tethering?
You need to use a launcher that supports shortcuts. Add shortcut to home screen and select settings then the shortcut you want
To remove the FCs, all I did was clear the cache and dalvik. Make sure to remove your lock screen first. Makes getting pass the initial FCs a lot easier.

Welcome. For there is no fix for air gesture in lollipop settings. I will my best to find the solution.

I'm sorry for that bug Try clear setting data first . If that's not work, Use your old secsetting.apk
A lot of FC on i9506, after wipe cache and dalvik I have FC on Wifi, Data usage, Sounds and 1 or 2 more...

Good morning friends, did the procedure on my GT 9515l and all functions are working 100%, noting that the odex old apk files need to be deleted. Congratulations to the developer. It was very beautiful.
Yes, all wipes, wifi bug not fixed.

Go to application manager and clear data for setting. If that's not working replace setting with old secsetting.apk . I'm sorry with problems that you experienced.
Working well on 9515ve (for who is interesting)

I realised that there was some bugs in AOSP ROM which make setting to crashed when use accessibility for apps like greenify and nova launcher. Thats is the reason why i put fully working accessibility.
can you re-upload settings.apk ?
"Device location for apps is turned off" message when I turn off location services
"No location access, device location for all apps is turned off, and you may not be able to locate your device if its lost"
Every time I turn off location services I get this in a pop up, and its annoying and I'm wondering if there is a way to prevent this?

Appear for me after install new ROM and gapps of 2 april.. tested with stock and nano and appears for me ?.. tried with old gapps but the same in instants connected on internet

When you tried with old gapps, you just flashed the gapps, or it was with a clean install of the rom ?
I noticed open gapps from 25 march until 02 aprilwere the same, but the 24/03 were differents in size.
I tried just flashing 24 but no difference...
And do you understand this story of beta ?

I don't understand this history.. but when flashed (wipe all except data) don't appear popup but when connect on internet come back definitely.. I believe updated when connected ?
This is upsetting. People who want privacy are being nagged. I'm in the same boat as well. I like to keep location off except when I need it. Is there a xposed or magisk module that could be crafted to make this go away?

I google already for a couple of days. The issue is already reported in a couple android forums. But no solution so far....
Getting it as well on a older V10 running clean debloated 5.1.1 and my other V10 running 6.0.1 debloated fresh install.
My only guess is the new updated Google Play store is doing it (or other automagically updated google app)

2) You can turn this totally off, or you can selectively turn it off by device.
3) Reboot
4) Profit
If you lose your phone, Google won't be able to find it for you. But if you typically turn off GPS, this is probably assumed anyway.

It worked for me. After reboot I enabled location history back, and it still works as expected.

For me it has been like that for a long time, and it didn't work...
But since a few days, without changing anything, I can't see this popup anymore.
Perhaps a Google Play Services update ? Google realized the popup was a stupid idea... :silly:

I cooked ROM for my Ulefone Paris ( in some countries known as Tesla 6.1 ) and I want to share.
Install instructions: (I install this way)
Flash stock image - 3025 Paris-20161019-ULEFONE-AH2__MM_S511_E11
Allow it to boot.
On Welcome screen do Power off.
Start SP Flash (SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1712.00.000_Windows) and install TWRP (3.1.1.0) - (I need to flash TWRP 2 times to get TWRP.)
Enter TWRP (Power + VolumeUP, with VolumeUP choose "Recovery" and press VolumeDOWN to enter TWRP)
Wipe - Dalvik, System, Cache, Data and optionally Internal Storage
Connect Your phone, copy RR-N-v5.8.5-20180326-Ulefone-Paris-Tesla6.1-Unofficial.zip image + magisk.zip to Phone.
Disconnect Phone.
Install RR-N-v5.8.5-20180326-Ulefone-Paris-Tesla6.1-Unofficial.zip image.
Install magisk.zip
Reboot to System
Wait 10 minutes
Enjoy

Indoor GPS is not working.I have issue with google play services. Looks much better than MM. I have followed install steps, except, it have been installed on latest Tesla Stock ROM .

It's solved!
1. From Magisk install "MagiskHide Props Config" module and reboot device,
2. From Google Play Store install "Terminal Emulator",
3. Run Terminal Emulator and type:
Code:
su
tap "Enter", and now type:
Code:
props
then tap "enter",
4. Select - 1. Edit device fingerprint, tap "enter"
5. Select - 4. Huawei, tap "enter",
6. Select - 4. P9, tap "enter"
...go to the Magisk and check SafetyNet
Voila! It's OK ...now, Viber is working, device can be charged if is ON too, and "Google play Services uncertified device error" notifications now goes to the... PM
Soon will post fixed V2 ROM... If u find more errors, please post here...

I'm still fighting getting advanced sound features on (viber use it, so FC of viber is sound problem)
Soon as I get sound fixed will post new image.
After a few day of usage this rom has been stable to daily work accept usage of Viber app, and lately FB app has started FC's. GPS in first attempt needed longer to get a lock, but now its working perfectly. Battery drainage is normal for this phone. Butt since the Viber and Facebook app is FC I'm going back to stock.
I'm very Happy that someone still work in this smartphone...I was working all time alone.... ?
What do you think about thanks to me in your credits, considering that you use my works?

So far I manage to make it 8mpx... nothing else. (13mpx but if u take pictures with flash camera FC, and video recording not work)

I tried the camfix on this rom, but it results in a bootloop, but when it worked in your LineageOS ROM. but it's just not doing it in this one.
Can anybody help me with this problem? I have broken screen on my phone and purchase the new one, and when i change the new lcd the screen is not show any pictures, it was just light (blue), so i contact seller and he say that for this new screen i got to flash the newest original firmware from ulefone paris (S511_E11_GQ3025AH2_PARIS_MM_20161019) and he give me link where to download and it realy works. I dont know how but now with new firmware android 6.0 lcd screen full working. But now i have the problem, because i cant install any custom rom anymore (because the screen will not work) i cant get ROOT anymore... I try mant things like flash only recowery TWRP all version, i try with kingoroot.....etc nothing working i also try to install via adb but not lucky..... Can anybody help me how to get root?
