Hello,
Currently I'm using the Cyanogenmod 13(cm-13.0-20160222-NIGHTLY-bacon). My problem is that sometimes i loose my signal and then it does not connect to the mobile carrier again. If I'm searching manually , it works.
Anyone has an idea what issue it could be?
My provider is Drei (Austria). Therefore it can be that it will connect to another carrier too, because they do not own a 2g network. (national roaming)
Edit:
Because i had the problem with other nightlys on CM 12 and 13 too, the problem seems not to be an issue of this Nightly.
Baseband: DI.3.0.c6-00241-M8974AAAAANAZM-1
Thanks in advance

Bougt a Nexus 5 32GB D821 in December in England on holiday. When i came back to Norway the 3g/4g network worked fine but I dont get any signal when i switch to 2G.
I live on the coast so sometimes I lose 3G signals and then I have no signals at all.
I have testet the sim card on my old S3 and there it works fine. Since i bought it in England I have no warrenty and no one will fix my phone.
Is it an hardware problem or software problem?

I have my N5 2 days now and I experienced simular issues.
The 4G symbol would come up but when that leaves, probably due to almost no signal, no 3G, edge etc.
I solved mine by switching it to setting - more - mobile networks - preferred network type ---> 3G ... so far so good.
I also had issues with my wifi on my Asus RT-N66U unit. It would be connected but no wifi at all. reconnect and it would work for a couple of minutes too.
I reflashed the firmware of a couple of months ago and no more issues.
Please let us know if it works for you too so we can help others!

I have testet with prefered 3G and also only 2G. When I choose 2G only I got no network at all. Some people think it is a motherboard problem.
Hello! My OPO had issues with OTA updates (25R specifically) and 3G. I clean installed 38R with no issues, everything went well however the 3G is down or works for a brief moment and then loses connectivity. Neither 2G nor 3G works. I live in Greece (if it helps more about understanding the network problem).
Any help appreciated!
Is anyone else experiencing the call problem with LTE and Lollipop?
Whatever firmware I install CM 12.1 or Sony .726 or 278 very often when on LTE my phone cannot be reached by a telefon call. The only solution so far is setting the mobile network on GSM.
Is this known or is there any work around ?
regards,
How can I fix the signal issue of my OPO?
After updating from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 the LTE signal become unstable. Also, the data connection goes H/H+ which is not reliable at all.
Thanks,
Hi,
I've been using my Xperia Z3 D6603 for about 2 weeks now on the Virgin Mobile (Bell Mobilily) network in Canada and the network reception is horrible. The signal keeps bouncing from 2-3 bars to zero bars wherever I go. My habits have not changed since using an LG G3 which I never experienced signal problems with. I think it's something to do with the phone not being able to connect to GSM and connects to CDMA only. I think this bc when I go to GSM only under network settings it won't connect at all.
What I've tried:
- Installed generic Canadian firmware
- Went to GSM only under network setting, and have NO Signal
- Entered Virgin's APN settings
Does anyone else have any suggestions?? This is such a nice phone and would love to keep if I can get the signal issue fixed.

Ok then it s better to take it to service center to check its hardware
:good:
Oh man, I really hope it's not hardware...
This might be a dumb question, but are you sure you have D6603 and not another variant?
