Seems like a defect to me. If I were you, I would take it back where I got it. Was it advertised as 2/16 GB when you purchased it?
It's just another model, it's not a defect.
I have XT1542 with 1GB ram and 16GB rom, a friend of mine also, and I had no problem installing custom roms or custom kernels.
So if you are worried about flashing, I assure you that there's no incompatibility with that!

8GB class 6 is very decent, enough for most people (not me)

Class 6 is pretty high end if I'm not wrong. What's enough for you?
How can we possibly tell you some generic SD card is good, we don't even know who manufactured it? Also, how do you define "good"? Something that works, something that is fast?
You ask a silly question, you'll get a dumb answer...

What he said..
Knowing that the OPO has 3GB of memory, I wonder why only have MB listed?
Already tried flash another ROM and Kernel and nothing change... Today I update the new 38R (OTA) and still the same...
The support tried help me but without success, they passed my ticket to a specialist... no responses since.
Anyone help me?
that's very weird indeed have you resorted to to flash the stock factory images? Possibility that one of the partitions messed up. I can't see oneplus accidently putting in 2gb of ram instead of 3. Something is definitely up

It seems they only really just installed that much ram on your phone. For whatever reason that's grounds for a replacement. They take a while but they do reply. I'm currently under an rma replacement process and although they take a while, ran into a few minor quirks and im still waiting for the new one to arrive, everything seems to be running smoothly up to now.
tried everything, nothing solved the problem...
I will require RMA... but it will take so much time
What's your phone build date?

Why?
What it is going on with iOcean, they were silent for a year and now 2 phones in short period. I just ordered m6752 Rock and they published photos of a new phone, called X9 ?????!!!!!!!!!!!
Phone looks like Huawei P7 but it will be with stronger hardware for sure. Here are some photos from they Facebook page

I'm sure that they will use same 64bit MTK6752 like in the Rock, but with 2GB of ram.
If 3GB RAM, I would consider buying.

I'm thinking it is 2GB of ram by checking "Rock" firmware where is written X9pro and thus this could be considered as X9 regular. I might be wrong since this phone is only announced but still not released.
OK new information have emerged:
5" FullHD screen 1920x1080 with 441ppi
3GB of RAM
Infrared port (something new)
iOcean are feeding information slowly. Lets see what kind of camera and size of battery this phone will have.
hi everyone.
im here to ask you about my g3 auto unmoust my samsung evo 32gb class 10.

The AT&T firmware is the original firmware on the D850. Are you rooted? Are you running the stock kernel?

yes iim rooted. i don't use any costum kernel bought it with every thing came from lg. every thing official.
I had problems with my sd card not mounting when I was using a custom kernel but worked perfectly with the stock kernel. I would back up the sd card and format it in your phone.

Hi, i flashed my first Custom Rom (crDroid with the stock mochi kernel) yesterday and just noticed that the available ram became lower.
What is wrong? Or what happened here?
Add: i am using 6/128 vayu.

This phone has 8 GB of RAM, correct? I think what it means is that 2.6 GB of those 8 is reserved for ssystem, leaving you with 5.4 GB for other operations.
