Spigen Galaxy S6 Case, Spigen® [AIR CUSHION] Crystal-clear - Galaxy S6 Accessories

Just got a spigen air cushion crystal-clear case
Superb quality
Even can use samsung QI wireless charger too

Great case indeed!

Great case. I have 3 of them (clear, space/smoked, and metal slate). This case has a larger front lip (to protect screen) than the similarly designed Ringke Fusion.

Really happy with it too doesn't bulk it up either

This is the one I got a week ago, and , so far, so good!!! My only concern is how dirty will it get as time passes.

Superb crystal-clear case 1st full day still showing the sexy body of the phone better then my other cases too

I put a fake carbon fiber sticker on the back of my phone. This is the metal slate color, which compliments my "black sapphire" (dark blue) S6 well. Also attached is the crystal clear color of the case.

I'm liking that idea

I've got this one too but I have noticed one problem with this case. The edges of this case after some time are getting yellow. Do you guys know how to avoid this?

Do you have the Spigen or other brand? Other brands make very similar style cases. My wife has the Ringke Fusion case, which became yellow over time. I've owned all 3 for the Galaxy S6, and the Spigen is best.

I have this case for almost 6 months, it's on my phone everyday. It has excellent drop protection, dropped it a few times from 150cm height no problems. Only thing that is problem with every clear case is that they get yellow after some time. Only thing i wish if it was a bit thicker so it will cover just above camera hump not in line with camera hump

I bought this case like 3 days after I bought my S6, 100% loving it.

blue carbon fiber sticker. matches the blue of the case and phone.

Mine also got yellowish on the sides... It protects the camera just fine though.

I regret getting the crystal clear one because of how yellow the sides became over time. I should have known this. Still, it's doing an excellent job of protecting my gs6.

SPG Ultra Capsule vs Ultra Thin Air

Hey guys,
I am planning to get a case for my S4. I personally prefer slim case that doesn't make my phone look too bulky. I am considering the Ultra Capsule and the ultra think air. Has anyone used any of these two cases? I can't find any picture of the ultra capsule.
Thanks,
while i can't comment about the ultra capsule, i have two of the ultra thin air (well, one is the ultra fit, but it's technically just a matte version of the ultra thin air). i think it's a great case because it doesn't add hardly any bulk or weight. i can take a picture of it if you'd like. i have the tango orange and the white. let me me know.
the negatives (not for me, but for others) are that the top and bottom are uncovered (the corners are though); the side buttons are a little hard to press at first; and some screen protectors will get lifted on the sides (this is same with the ultra capsule i believe) because of the lip.
here are videos of the thin air:
http://www.youtube.com/results?sear....5j2.7.0...0.0...1ac.1.11.youtube.Y4S41ilu6l8
The "original" Samsung cover also doesn't add a lot of bulk and feels quite nice. It does scratch rather easily though...
You can see some images here: front & back. Some more (also showing the Mime Glass protector) here
The Spigen Ultra Fit looks pretty identical to the cheaper Ringke Slim that I'm using.

Hi High Kick.
What color of phone are you using? I would appreciate if you can post the picture of the white color case. Thanks a lot!

i have the white S4. i've had black smartphones this whole time, so i thought i'd get a white one instead. however, i'm finding that white phones are harder to buy cases for.
one thing to note about the ultra fit is that it's A LOT more slippery than the ultra thin air. i was expecting the matte to be kind of softly rubbery and grippy, like what i'm used to matte being, but it feels like i'm holding a bar of wet soap. the ultra fit is $9.99, but i would recommend paying more for the ultra thin air.

i have the ringke slim also, and normally i would recommend the ringke slim over spigen based on price (and the fact that it's practically the same case). but i've found that the ringke slim cases are almost impossible to remove (at least for me).
p.s. the paper underneath my phone in the pictures is the return label for the spigen neo hybrid. i just couldn't stand how wide it made my phone.

Thank you very much for your suggestion and picture. I am also using a white S4 and I really like the phone. I think I will either go with ultra thin air or just don't use a case at all to keep the original beauty.
The ultra capsule is one of the worst designed cases I have ever purchased.
The fit its loose and the material feels like a China cheap case.
On the other hand everything I purchased from poetic has me totally won over with their quality and price.
I have 3 palette cases one atmosphere and I just ordered the revolution for when I am at the building site of my home.
On a side note the neo hybrid oozes quality.
And yes I am a case junkie.

although i said the ultra fit is very, very slippery, one might wonder why i'm not returning/exchanging it for the ultra thin air (which i said had a better grip). well, the ultra thin air, with its matte finish, just LOOKS SO much better than the glossy finish of the ultra thin air. i've been staring at the matte and the glossy side-by-side for a few minutes, and the matte is so much better looking. so, basically i'm going for looks over security. i just wanted to add that in my "review" as it might help you decide which one to purchase. also, keep in mind that the ultra thin air comes with more stuff; the ultra thin air is just the case. i hope that helps some more.

Thanks for the info. I guess the picture that you took is the matte. How's the feel of the grid compare to the original phone (without case)? The only reason that I want the case is to protect the edge of the phone as well as the camera lens since the lens stick out a little bit.

Does the white colour of the ultra slim look close to the phone? Or does it give you a rubber white feeling? I am thinking whether the white colour of ultra thin air will look closer to the phone since they are both glossy.
I bought Ultra Fit last month and could only used it for 2 days. I was squatting and the phone slipped out from my pocket to the concrete floor. A corner of the case is broken. The front screen frame is sunken. Checked with Samsung, they said that frame must be replaced along with the screen.
The case looks gods and is very light. But you have to give up the safety of your phone. Your choice
I bought the ultra thin air and it sucks. You can barely press the power and volume buttons. Not worth $25. I never use cases but thought this one would be minimal. I was wrong.

the ultra fit is only $9.99. it's more slippery, but it looks better in my opinion. i don't have any problems getting to any of the side buttons, but i think i'm used to it since i've been using cases like this (ringke slim) since my last phone.
I think neo hybrid is slimmer than my ultra thin air crystal clear.

I have just received the Ultra Thin Air case yesterday. The case fits very well and tight to the phone. I really like the case overall except the is a bit to press the power button.

Good protective case with a lip

Want a good protective case with a lip that covers the phone if I drop it face down, and also one that protects the camera as well, and doesn't add to much bulk. Recently bought this Spigen Case but it seems like it won't do crap if I dropped my phone!

If you like the Spigen brand, take a look at their Tough Armor case. I can't say enough good things about this case.
I'm slightly disappointed in the Spigen case I purchased. I picked up one of the Galaxy S5 Case Ultra Hybrid cases. My main requirement for a case was that it would cover the silver bezel on the S5 and the Spigen case appeared to according to the pictures. Sadly this is not the case. The silver bezel is small, but it's definitely still there which is really deceiving given the photos on there website.

same thing on my case I got the neo hybrid and the silver showing drives me crazy if they had made the lip on the front slightly wider , this would be a keeper , im just waiting and hoping ottterbox comes out with a case in this same blue color and I will order there commuter case
I have a Slim Armor for when I go out to run, walk or hike. I use a Ultra Fit for work and just normal use. I used a Slim Armor on my S4 and dropped it from a bar height table flat on the face and didn't leave a mark on it. Dropped it on the corners a few times as well and it still looks like new out of the case. I have been really impressed with the quality of build and protection of the Spigen over the last year. Not sure I would use anything else with the exception of OtterBox.
I just posted a review of the Poetic Atmosphere, which could fit your needs. I mention the lip protection, which you can see in the picture.

Note 4 Cases for Females

Trying to get some ideas of cases that ladies would like. Any help would be appreciated.
Body glove satin pink or charcoal grey would be nice for a female...it's a super slim attractive case and att has it in stock. ..you can check it out at this website although they have no stock http://www.bodyglovemobile.com/cell-phone-cases/samsung/galaxy-note-4/satin/?scheme_id=404
That's not bad at all. Much appreciated.
I'm getting this one for every day use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N174VAE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and I've got this one on order for occasions when I don't want to carry a separate wallet: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NL5WOP0/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AWSTL9OR9CVRW
I tried using the flip covers for a while, but it was just annoying after a while. I like slim cases that allows my phones to still fit my back jeans pocket.
Here are a few:
Samsung S-View Flip Cover in red or white
Case Thin Fit by Spigen in white or mint
Case Mate Sheer Glam Case
Ringke Slim by Rearth
Incipio Highland in light silver/white (the pink is rather ugly imo)
The Octane Frost/Neon Pink looks much better
Saw these on OtterBox.
OtterBox Cases
Oh man why don't they have that one in white..

I got a few friends with the bodyglove, I'm not impressed with it for some reason when holding it in my hands. Maybe it's just me.
I think a girl with little hands would like slim cases over bulky ones. The note is already a big phone, add a bulky case and you have a brick... I too would recommend the Ringke Slim case. I have the white case on white phone. Putting them together looks super clean and nice, might be a little too girly for me that's why I'm getting a new case to switch off sometimes.

Bodyglove has many types of cases I'm sure your friends don't have the Bodyglove satin, other bodyglove cases can seem bulky....but the satin gives you protection, slimmness, and a fashionable design...

I didn't mean to say the bodyglove satin is bulky, was just saying in general I prefer slimmer cases to bulky cases. And yes my friends do have the satin cases, not for their note 4s though, but for the G3, iPhones, M8 etc. but they are all pretty much the same, made of this bendable rubbery or gel like material, which I'm not a fan of. Personally I don't like the look of it. But Good thing about it is that it's slim and has superb grip. Other people may have positive opinions of them which is completely fine. If op would like to try out another type of slim case with more color options, I'd recommend checking out the ringke slim for less than half the cost of the bodyglove. She can buy 2 different colors and still have some change left over.
ooh thanks for the suggestions the Case Mate Sheer Glam Case is divine! I like the Incipio Highland too!

Shop-leather has some nice looking wallet cases with wrist straps. They are expensive though and ship times are looong.
Can anyone verify if the casemate sheer glam case covers the bottom mic hole for the verizon version ? if you don't have the verizon version if the microphone hole cutout on the bottom left gives exposure to about 3mm more left that would answer my question as well. also have you noticed yellowing where you hold the phone on the case? thanks
I'm using the original Samsung case in red, none of those awfull pink cases for me thank you... [emoji39]

What case do you use on Nexus 6P?

Hey guys. I just decided to try Nexus 6P. Looking for some great cases to protect it! But also I don't wanna spoil the original look of it since the design's so unique and beautiful!Just got two clear cases for my former Nexus 6 from AMZ and looks wonderful, yet the clear case get darken yellowed after few weeks using, so just share your N6P case experience here and enjoy!
Long response incoming:
I initially bought a official microfibre Adopted case (in carbon) from Google along with my N6P (aluminium). I paid full price for it, but I thought it was worth the premium for an official case and the design was cool and unique. Massively underwhelmed when I received it, because it's nothing more than a generic TPU case with a thin "sticker" of microfibre on the back, which I sensed would be prone to staining and, over time, peeling. The fit was also really tight and button presses weren't that responsive. I decided in the end that the Nexus branding wasn't worth the premium, so I returned it.
I then ordered a charcoal Diztronic case. I've had good experiences with Diztronic in the past, having used their case on my Galaxy Nexus as a daily driver. It was cheaper than the Spigen Rugged Armor and I appreciated the minimalist aesthetic, not being a fan of the faux carbon fibre pattern on the Spigen. The fit and finish was great, and the buttons were clicky and responsive. My only minor niggle was the cutout for the camera sensor wasn't completely accurate, as it cut off part of the circle surrounding the sensor (100% an aesthetic oversight with no impact on function).
I then bought a Speck Candyshell Grip (in white) during the Black Friday sale, when it was 50% off. Definitely my favourite case of the three I've tested so far. It provides the most protection (being a dual-layer silicone and polycarbonate hybrid), looks striking, and, as the name implies, provides a ton of grip.
I've had a Speck Candyshell on my iPod touch and over 4 years later, it's still kept my iPod in perfect condition. The case itself is scratched up and turned a bit off-white, but I haven't exactly been gentle with it (having taken it traveling and camping) so I'm confident in its protective capabilities.
I'll likely be rocking the Speck case as my daily driver for the time being, and I'll only swap back to the Diztronic when I want a more toned-down look and slimmer profile (maybe if I'm at a fancy event wearing slacks).
Finally, I also pre-ordered a white Crash Guard + Project S from Evolutive Labs when they offered 25% off the first 50 pre-orders. IMO this would be the solution to preserving the Nexus's original design and aesthetics, while still providing a lot of protection (if the demo videos are any indication). I have no idea what Project S is, though (hopefully some kind of transparent skin, though they said it wasn't going to be made of the same material as the Rhino Shield).
I have a tempered glass screen protector from intelliARMOR protecting the front (second generation/first revision, the model prior to production of the two distinct "case-friendly" and "edge to edge" versions). It's been fine with both the Diztronic and Speck cases, though I'm curious as to whether the edge-to-edge versions might also be compatible with the Speck and Crash Guard, as there's just 1 mm between the edges of the cases and screen protector, where I find dust and grease can get trapped in between.
If you're looking for clear cases, there're Spigen's Ultra Hybrid and Neo Hybrid EX cases. The Ultra Hybrid is a single-layer case with a clear polycarbonate back framed by TPU along the edges. I wouldn't recommend it personally because I've heard that clear TPU will stain over time (as likely what happened to your original case), and the visor is completely exposed and thus prone to scratches.
The Neo Hybrid EX consists of 2 pieces: a clear TPU shell and a coloured polycarbonate bumper (essentially, the reverse of the Ultra Hybrid). It looks to be the best clear case I've seen in terms of protection (as the visor is actually covered), but I don't know how the clear TPU will fare over time, whether it will also be prone to staining. I'd wait on reviews for this case before ordering, and for it to be listed on Spigen's Amazon store, which will likely be cheaper than buying it off their main website or eBay store.
To be honest it's the first device that I don't have a case for it although I have a tampered glass and a pouch. But I'm waiting for some skins from dbrand and a wooden skin from toastmade.
Tapatalked with my Nexus 6P
I got the carbon cloth backed Nexus 6P case originally and I really like the look and feel of it, but it's not the most protective. The only issue I've had with it is taking screenshots (the case presses buttons you don't mean to) and it wouldn't work with a tempered glass screen protector (it peels it up).
On the black Friday I got the Speck CandyShell in black/slate and I'm digging it. It's more protective and it makes the button presses a little harder, which I like. I would think it'd work with a glass screen protector as the bezels don't intrude onto the glass very much.
I use a Supcase Unicorn Beetle Hybrid as my standard case. I usually slide it in my pants or jacket pocket. I do wish there was a belt clip for the Beetle Hybrid, but to get a belt clip case combo you typically are into something much thicker and substantial that is, for me, unnecessary. When I'm wearing a suit, I use it bare and carry it in a Story Leather belt clip holster made for the iPhone 6s Plus. The phone has a Skinomi Tech Glass protector on it.
My experience mirrors LuckyDragan a little bit.
My first case was the microfiber case from the Google store. While it looked nice and the in hand feel was decent, I felt it cost way too much for what it was. I ended up returning it because when I pressed the edge of the case by the buttons it would change the volume. Not cool for a $35 case.
Next case is the reg. Adopted case. It's not bad. I really like the textured sides. It's also fairly narrow. Thing is, I paid $10 for it, at the reg. price of $20, I'm not sure if it's worth it. By the pics I've seen, I think it looks better than the Diztronic, especially the fingerprint cut out.
3rd case is the Spigen Rugged Armor. Except for the camera cut out (I don't like how it doesn't leave room for the blueish oval), I think it looks the best of all the cases I've tried so far. My nags are that It's all little wide and slippery. At $13.00?, it's a good buy.
4th case is the Speck Grip. My favorite so far. It's not as thin as the other cases but not bulky. The grip is awesome, no problem using the phone with one hand. At first glance, I didn't think it was the best looking case, but it's starting to grow on me. The protection and how it makes the phone so much easier to handle makes it a winner. @ $20 I paid during the Google store's sale, I think it's worth it. @ the reg. price of $40, idk.
If haven't yet, check out Pilz review thread, so much good info.
White Speck case as my daily driver.
I have tried the Diztronic one, while it does provide protection, did not like how loose the edges felt, definitely not as snug and stiff as my Diztronic Ultra that is on my GS6. It easily bent out edges for my taste, and thought of getting some debris that could scratch up the phone was bugging me somewhat. If you need a very minimalist, fingerprint resistant, and decent lip for screen protection, that is the case to have.
Also have the Supcase Unicorn Hybrid Ultra. great case, snug and firmer edges than the Diztronic one, but damn, is that case slippery. I have a habit of placing the phone on my car seat, and that thing just slides around like a hockey puck on ice when placed on its back. Placing it face down did help... still preferred it over the Diztronic.
But snagged the White Speck Candy Shell Grip case at 50% off, love it. Excellent grip, very tight and solid felling edges, does not slide when placed on a my car seat. Wished they offered a matt finish white version of this, since I am not a fan of shiny cases, but the black rubber lines offset it enough to be likable for me. Sporting the Orzly TGSP,with that case there is a minimal space between the glass and the edges of the case, nearly perfect sealed fit. Hoping the intelliglass ones are a bit more of an coverage so that it could have a near gapless glass to case seal, still waiting on receiving mine...
Currently have the Tudia case which is brill, but also got the Spigen rugged case coming.
Official microfiber case in carbon. No screenshot issues or button issues in general. I love the soft fabric feel. Feels more "welcoming" than the cold, hard plastic/TPU of other cases I've used. Regarding durability, I'm a little concerned, but only time will tell how the microfiber will hold up.
Smoked Ringke fusion is my case of choice, at least for now. I also have the Orzly flexicase and Spigen rugged armor. Don't really care for either of those.
Anyone want to trade a case for the spigen rugged armor? mint condition and hasn't been used other than trying it on once.

I'm also using this case and think it's a good balance of fitting, protection, minimal bulk, etc all for a low price. I bought it off Amazon for $11 but unfortunately it's been outta stock for the past month or so. I wished they had a clear case instead of smoke coloring though.
I use spigen rugged armor, it's a good case that offers high protection to your phone..
i intend to order the verus high pro shield case though, just want to wait for some time until they fully supply the updated case.. the first batches had a defect about the charging port..

They've got both clear and smoked in stock through ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ringke-FUSI...hash=item3d076ed1ad:m:mNMnxjoDe6mqlXAgy0u2D6g

Thank you for the notice. Strange. Is Ringke the actual seller? I wonder why they stopped selling via Amazon.

Yeah, not sure about amazon, but I bought mine from that ebay link. Pretty sure they are the actual sellers.
The Spigen rugged arrived today and it is SOOOO much nicer than the Tudia one. Better fit and feels nicer and more secure.

I've had a few cases so far.
SR Tech - Typical TPU case. Decent protection. Cutouts were slightly off. Total fingerprint/oil magnet. Got real slippery after a week or so of use and required a wipe down. Did not interfere with my Pleson TGSP.
Spigen Rugged Armor - Soft touch finish felt really good in hand. Very good protection at the sacrifice of some added bulk. Cutouts were precise and buttons had a nice tactile feel. Soft touch got some smudges on it occasionally but not nearly as bad as the SR case. Did not interfere with my Pleson TGSP but it was really close.
Spigen Thin Fit - Very interesting finish on this case. Kinda felt like the back of the Nexus 6. Fingerprints weren't really a problem but oil/smudging was. Case snapped on snugly and provided good protection for the covered areas. Top and bottom of the phone were exposed. Did not interfere with my Pleson TGSP.
Nillkin Nature - This is my daily driver. Pretty much the same as the SR Tech, only about half the thickness. Cutouts are more precise and there is a cover for the Type C port, which I really like. This is literally the thinnest case I've ever used and it really helps make the already large 6P more manageable in the hand. I wish it came in a matte finish so oil/fingerprints weren't so much of an issue, but other than that I'm happy.
Adopted for now until bumpers start arriving and be reviewed.
Ringke smoke and Google Microfiber. Like both and switch weekely

I switch from the official google carbon case and spigen ultra hybrid. They are great cases but the buttons on both aren't the best. I also have speck case but I use it for when I go to the gym. Diztronic case is nice but phone feels loose inside and verus case.. Its whatever.

Case vs Skin - what do you use?

Hey,
I'm curious what is your prefered protection. I'm currently using a case but I'm thinking about switching to a skin, maybe dbrand or a real wood one.

Thisphone is hard to hold naked so I run a case, ringke is my current daily. I'd love to run a skin but they simply aren't attractive with seems, plus I like being able to toss my phone around.
Have you seen the cruzerlite bugdroid cases? I have a red and a black one. However, due to the nature of the material in the semi opaque red one, it is more flexible and does not fit as well as the black one. So the black one stays on permanently.

Yeah I've seen them. They look not bad.
Currently using a silicon case, but planning on using skin sometime soon. Really want to feel the Z5C touch without any hindrance. Love the frosted glass finish on the back.
I wish there was a Diztronic TPU case for it. I've been using their brand for my previous Moto X, Nexus 6 and 5x and they're the best I've had so far. Minimalistic, durable and protective. Anyways for now I'm using a Orzly Semi transparent TPU case bought from Amazon, it's fairly decent compared to what's available, i wouldn't consider a skin on this device.

I've been using the DevilCase aluminum bumper with a tempered glass protector. So far it's held up to all the drops and smacks I've given it. The bumper is visible worn and scratched but the phone itself still looks new.
I use a generic transparent silicone case that covers and provide a front raise.d protection the phone is slippery as hell without a case. I've dropped it several times getting inside and outside of the car during the first 2 months. It got some heavy scratches on the corners and also on the back from slipping it in and out of my front jean pockets. It loses some of it's appeal with the case but then again; I got a much better grip now and I can just drop it instead of 'gently' placing it on the table; and I do this like 100x a day.

It's around $50, not the most expensive of cases but more than the standard TPU and silicone ones.
I've used them on my last three phones and have always been happy with them. Their customer service is also tremendous.
Using a Ringke case for now. It came with a screen protector, but i'm not using it.

Ah ok, I'm rocking an orzly case. Not bad either....
I always use TPU cases with my phones. I wish I didn't have to use a case, but your phone WILL eventually fall and hit the ground at some point, so you need protection. I prefer TPU because it's the perfect balance between polycarbonate and silicone. It is hard enough to feel robust and not stick to your pockets (pulling everything up along with your phone), and feels soft enough to absorb impacts. NEVER had a phone crack or dent with one of these. And they fall from hip height from time to time when I get out of the car. I dunno, some part of this is luck, but I trust these cases. They're simple, dirt cheap and efficient.
In addition to a glass scree protector on the front, I use a dbrand sticker on the back to increase grip and protect the glass from breaking or getting scratched.
Ringke Fusion for all my devices. Best protection, small footprint. Never looked back.

Ringke Fusion seems quite popular
interesting
Redneck Tetron. Dual layer protection and stand. I'm very satisfied.
I'm simply using a TPU cover bought for 5 euro and saved my phone already 3 times. It's perfectly fitting the size and doesn't add extra weight or size to the phone itself.
I'm using it combined with a tempered glass.
FYI something like this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9CSjnj2gSms/maxresdefault.jpg
Only orzly
ALL users of z5 tried few china tpu cases, but that one is awesome, I recommend 100%, phone looks elegant and like without case ( with dark version). Moreover, it's matt and really nice in touch :good::good::good: youtube.com/ watch?v=GtxgfKDej-E im not a producer, just happy user
I agree, I'd use the phone naked but its too slippary. All I really want is a bumper but no one has any.
Therefore, I just got a black TPU case and cut out the back to make it into a bumper. The cut could have been cleaner but its been working for me.
