[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S6 disconnecting from network - XDA Assist

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 that was dropped into a hot tub :/ The water damage has been rectified and a new battery put in but the issue with it now is that it keeps connecting and disconnecting from the provider network so sometimes texts and calls come through and sometimes I don't get them until it connects again hours later. I've tried the SIM card in another phone and the SIM card is fine. I've tried resetting it back to factory settings and a friend went into the developer settings and played with a couple things in there (I'm not sure what but he knew what he was looking for). That fixed it for about an hour but now it's back to the same thing.

[Q] Sim not detected[NO SIM]

Hi,
I bought a new samsung galaxy sII sky rocket SGI727 in US, Also i unlocked and use more than three months. Now it showing me <b> NO SIM <b> . The sim not detected in my mobile. This is not a locked issue because, i typed *#7465625# and check whether is it lock or unlock? It showing me every locks in off mode only. But i donot know what the problem is this ?? please help me on this issue.
*#7465625# is not reliable in i727. Ignore it & test a different SIM.

I am using Samsung galaxy SL 19003 for past 2 and half years. It came with android 2.2. one year ago I updated it to 2.3.6. I was working well. For the past six months It stopped vibrating. I continued to use with that defect as it was not bothering me much. In last 2, 3 days I have faced the problem in network detection. When I restarted the phone, It started functioning normally (detected the network). From today morning, There is no network detection. When I entered the mobile networks settings, It pops out a message "insert SIM card to access network services". I tried restarting. No use. I removed and cleaned the sim with hand and tried. Nothing happened. even other sims are not working.
I am using an app named "juice defender" to increase my battery back up. I am aware that it compromises the performance of the handset in order to increase the battery back up. I am doubting that application's role in this fault.
Is there anything I can do before going to the service centre?

[Q] IMEI

I recently got my phone back from the repair shop. I noticed that my IMEI was changed to 000000000000000. So far, I don't have problems connecting to both of my sims network as well as wifi. I am not tech savvy so, I am not sure if this will create problems for me in the future. If it will, what I can do to get my IMEI back if that's possible? am using a Samsung Galaxy Y duos. Hello, about a year ago I purchased my one m8 and everything worked fine until about a month ago when I started to notice that the mobile data was repetadily turning on and off. then about last week the calls stopped working, depending on which ROM I tried it would either ring forever and say call lost or it would say "cellular network unavailable" today I tried to get a new sim card from verizon and that did nothing, I desperately need help, please thanks in advance

[Completed] Phone connection help please

I bought a galaxy note 3 t-mobile that is unlocked from a friend. I have cricket as the service provider and I do have 4g lte only ever once in awhile it will connect to it though but most of the time it's on "e" about 98% of the time. I Google the cricket apn setting and put those in to see if it would change but still nothing happens still the same thing. Would anyone happen to know apn settings or something I can try? I've even tried *#2263# and changing those setting but still nothing. Any ideas?

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy A3 Diagnostic Codes are not working

Hi,
My Samsung phone got a little bit of water through the charging port. Initially it was not getting charged, but after a day it started to charge. It was working normally, but now after 2 days there are no signals in the phone. While making any calls it shows the "Mobile network not available error" and Diagnostic codes are not working as well. The phone's IMEI number is not lost because it is still showing the IMEI in the "About phone" menu. It just shows the SIM card status as "out of service".
How can I check which part has been damaged so I can get it repaired. Or could the radio be damaged? How can I test the radio?
Could it be a software issue, can rooting and installing a custom rom fix the issue?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

I'm afraid we can't really help if you've damage with water. Best thing for you is to go on service center and try some cleaning.
