[GUIDE] Install Sound Mods on any ROM via TWRP

Since I've been using Pixel Experience, I never moved to a different ROM since battery backup and performance is awesome! Only thing missing was the music mods. This guide has already been tested on RR and stock ROM 8.0 in the comments and both feedback have it working!
YOU CAN SKIP ANY OF THE SOUND MODS YOU DON'T WANT TO INSTALL. THESE ARE JUST THE PROPER LINKS TO THE WORKING FILES AS OTHER FILES GIVES BOOTLOOP.
Now, onto the guide!
Requirement
TWRP
Instructions
Proper guide to install sound mods without losing WiFi and other functions (you may skip any sound mod you wouldn't like to include):
Dolby-Atmos_Axon7_Oreo_BnC_Edition.zip if you want Dolby Atmos.
[*][URL=https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4514264&d=1527706615]Download and install Viper4Android FX v2.6.0.5 APK from the attachment below.
Open V4A app and Install drivers.
Check the Magisk modules. Viper4Android should be installed.
Install the Dolby-Atmos_Axon7_Oreo_BnC_Edition.zip via Magisk Manager app
Don't open the Dolby Atmos app yet. It should also be in Magisk modules.
Install Ainur Sauron from Magisk Downloads.
Install JamesDSP from Magisk Downloads.
Feel free to install any other sound mod on this part of the tutorial.
Lastly, install Audio Modification Library from Magisk Downloads as well.
You should see it patching all your sound mods.
Reboot for the last time.
All audio mods should be working fine without breaking WiFi functionality.
Assuming you're using a custom ROM and want to update to the latest, just reinstall Magisk and all modules will be kept.
Voila! All sound mods should work side-by-side with each other! Hope this helps and report if it works for you!
This has been tested on the following ROMs:
- Pixel Experience (6/3/18 build)

Yes, but you still need to install the arise aroma package afaik. You can disable the viper app that shows up after and only use Dolby. That's what I was doing until I just installed the latest v4a from xda labs.

This. You still need the Arise AROMA package if you want to use Dolby so that it won't crash.
Can I also install the Sony module from the aroma installer. Will it work on PE ROM.

You can just disable that app so you wouldn't get any warnings like that.

Yeah, I tried but it doesn't stay disabled. It keeps coming back up unless you click on ignore (keep app). I tried removing it with titanium backup but also won't go away. It comes back after each reboot. Even when click on ignore... the security menu always has the warning too

Dolby Atmos Android 9.0 - This worked for me!

Haven't seen any Android Pie Dolby Atmos working mods, but this magisk module worked for me! Thought I'd share.
My setup is stock rooted w/ Magisk and Elemental X kernel.

One thing I didn't mention in the first post is the magisk module "Audio Modification Library" must be installed as well if your using viper4android or any other sound mod.

Hey thanks for the link. I searched and searched but turned up no results with a thread discussing this module.
On a side note the thread title is wrong. I should said Dolby Digital Plus and not Dolby Atmos...

Thx allot:laugh:
Title should be changed. There is no working Atmos module for Pie so far.
Just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean there is no working version for Pie. Works fine for me. Moto x4, magisk, viper

v4a no longer working after update

Updated to 10.3.6.GM21AA. v4a no longer works for me. Anyone have any luck getting it to work? I've installed and reinstalled the audio mod library and v4a through magisk a few times now with no luck.

steps for viper and ddp with acp and aml?
My steps, for always getting this to work was :
Just install the apk from xda labs 2.7.1.6 ( prefer this) open app, asks for root (Grant) app creates magisk module and reboots. I then use the latest AML module from magisk repo, last reboot and good to go.
Dolby and Viper work.
Hope this helps you.
