Hey Guys,
i searched a lot for a solution but i couldnt find anything. Maybe i get some help here.
So my exact problem is: Im goin to buy a Gear S2 Classic. I have a Galaxy S5 (G900F) running on CM 13 (Nightly). I will need the Samsung Gear App for my phone to get the watch work. But if i install the App and try to open it showes the following error message: The operating system on your phone has been modified in an unauthorized way, and is not compatible with the Samsung Gear app. Check your operating system and try again.
I would pref staying on CM 13 bec stock ROM kills my Battery >.<
So is there any way to get the Gear app working on CM ?

I tried the 8.1 rom yesterday and it worked until this morning when I switch on, it stays on the start screen only. Can somebody help me to solve this problem or I need to send back to Samsung.
thanks
sammy
Maybe you should write what Samsung device you're using.
And 8.1 ROM - does not make any sense here.
If you want people to help you - your question should be like this:
I'm using DEVICE NAME. Tried ROM NAME from here LINK...

Hello!
I am an AndroNoob and haven't done much. I just have rooted my phone, used odin twice and tried to get cyanogenmod. I have got the Samsung Galaxy Xcover (GT-S5690) and i really would like to have android 4.0+ on it or even run 4.0+ apps on it. After about 5 days of searching a custom ROM that works good and is android 4.0+, i decided to make my own one. I just want to ask you, is it possible to use android kitchen or something to just get the original rom from sammobile or some other place and just make it be ics/jb or get likes 4.0+ firmware for galaxy ace or something and make it work with my xcover? And if so, how easy will it be (Should i even start using/wasting my time on it)? And last if possible i would like to have the samsung style android
And i would be so happy if i can get it done, get my xcover run ics/jb!
Thanks for any help and sorry for my bad english.
Hey guys, I have a couple questions regarding my Galaxy S3.
ATT Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-i747)
I'm currently running the latest snapshot version of CyanogenMod 11. I have Ktoonsez 747 Kernel. Now on his kernel, it changes my splash screen from the Galaxy SIII Cyanogenmod screen to a not so good looking picture displaying his Kernel Domination thingy, which I have downloaded a zip to change from that one to the orginal SIII splash screen, but, I would love to change it to the CyanogenMod 11 SIII splash screen. Is there any .zip's out there that anyone knows of that could do this for me, or would anyone mind making one for me? Also, the maxium I am able to overclock to is 1809Mhz. If i set it up to 2.1Ghz itll reboot, and i know this is common but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way i could get my phone stable at either 1.9 or 2.1 as id like to get this old phone as maxed out as I can. Ive looked for other Kernels but im quite new to this and Ktoonsez is the only ive managed to find and try out and im quite fond of KTweeker. One more thing, i just updated to the latest CM 11 but on my last version i would randomly lose all my contacts.... does anyone know anything about this? Thanks for all your help ^^
Hello Sir...! Can You tell me what is the system Cpu frequency in samsung galaxy s3 because i install a kernel tuner then i change the cpu frequency now sometime my mobile hang & become heatup plzzz help....?

Dear All,
I had upgraded my ROM on Note 3 to Echoe Rom v22 (Lollipop). I was able install the latest Gear Manager and all the feature, except live call alert, is working.
Can anyone suggest what can be done to enable this option.
It had worked once at the first install but later after watch reboot stopped working.
Thanks in advance
Have you posted in the rom thread? It would be good to identify if it's rom specific.
Well, not many have gear 2 for testing. curious of any of you know which app installed along with Gear manager takes care of calls.
Flashed by dfault UAE firmware and now it is working fine. Thanks

I dont want to root my phone or install custom rom on it.
Looking trough forums I found post with Galaxy S8 apps and I wanted to install them on my phone because they look great for my taste.
Half owners of S6 can install them but others have error with every app they try to install.
Solution is to unninstall previous updates for that apps in app settings, but there is no such option for me anymore in Nougat 7.0.
I just wanted to know is there any other way to install them

No there isn't, the only other way is to replace the s8 apk files into system, this requires root though. If the apks are not installing via the usual way it's most likely down the specific nougat firmware your handset is on, to test I'd find out the firmware of a member who has managed to successfully install and see if it is one that your phone will accept. Other than that you're out of luck mate.
Look at my last new thread what i have discovered
