[Guide] Huawei P9 & P9 Plus Refurbish Guide

!!!WARNING!!!
IN THE HUAWEI ANDROID N BETA FIRMWARE, DOWNGRADE IS UNAVAILABLE.
I HAVE TESTED IT ON MY PHONE, IF YOU TRYING TO DOWNGRADE, IT WILL TOLD YOU FIRMWARE VERIFICATION ERROR.
This thread will change to a small guide of my tool.
[FOR REFURBISH PURPOSE / WITH Official Recovery]
Requirement:
Computer and P9 connected to the same WiFi network (locally accessable).
Step:
1. Run the tool, select firmware version and press [Start]
2. On your phone, set proxy IP to your computer's IP, and the proxy port to 41279

3. Enter Settings -> Update -> Menu -> Download latest full package
(This tool cannot get incremental update package, so it would not give you any update info before click 'Download latest full package')
4. Then, you will get a update around 1.70 GB - 1.80GB, that is the regular size for full rom with pre-installed data.
(If the update package is aroung 1.50GB that means the customize version is incorrect for your device)
5. After fully flash in recovery, you can press Volume Up + Power enter official recovery and do a Factory Reset.
[FOR UNBRICK PURPOSE / WITHOUT Official Recovery]
Due to the limitation of Huawei HiSuite, It would NOT flash the pre-installed data, like themes or icons.
So, following procedure is for unbrick ONLY. If you want fully flash the firmware, you need to follow next reply.
Requirement:
1. Your device can enter FASTBOOT.
(If that partition was broken, this tools cannot help you anymore.)
2. Huawei HiSuite (Click Here to Download)
3. A computer that have a stable internet connection.
Step:
1. Start the tool, select correct firmware version, and click [Start]
2. Start HiSuite, Set proxy IP to 127.0.0.1, proxy port to 41279
3. Click [System Recovery] in the right bottom corner of HiSuite
4. Follow the procedure provided by Huawei to make your devices into FASTBOOT Mode.
(Power off -> Connect your device to the computer running HiSuite -> Hold Volume Down + Power button till it enter FASTBOOT)
5. Waiting for HiSuite to recover your Huawei P9.

As I tested before, that version may during internal testing for release and that build, SafetyNet related function (like Android Pay) may not working properly.

Can I with "How to fully reflash" method change the brand of the phone ? Actually I'm running EVA-L09C55B141 and I've no update to do

Actually, you need change oeminfo partition first, to make the Updater can fetch the oem data files correctly.
Currently, you can follow this thread or SRK Tool to change the oeminfo from C55 to C432, and flash other firmware.
If you want change to other country and/or operator's brand, I'll write a guide later depend on my experience.

Currently, My tool only provide the full firmware flash option, because the OTA package may depend on different version. It may support force OTA in the future.

So what I've to do is: 1. unlock bootloader 2. flash a special recovery 3. root the phone 4. flash the new oem data 5. flash the new firmware (compatible with the oem) and restore recovery + bootloader ?
Am I right ?
In all this, will I lose the warranty ?

Only one thing is incorrect , Step 5, using my tool + HiSuite restore to official firmware.
As I tested before, follow unbrick method, will automatically flash official recovery and restore the lock status.
As far as I know, that would not avoid the warranty.

Hi man, I had c02 and I debranded to c432 using oem. Now I've c432b170 received by official ota. If I want rollback to c02b133( is it the latest official update for vodafone?) is it enough to use your software ore I'd to use oem again?

Yep, it is enough to use my tool to go back. Due to my tool only have full firmware listed, the C133 might not be the newest version. If not, the OTA is waiting after flash.[emoji14]
However, you need restore the oeminfo first for full restore, because you phone would get oem data partition based on it when you download latest full package with my tool.
Due to TWRP is essential for changing oeminfo, flash twice is essential for full refurbish. Firstly, use HiSuite to flash official system and recovery. Then, use the phone itself to restore one data.

No, the correct step is, unlock your phone -> flash recovery -> restore oeminfo -> flash firmware by HiSuite (it will lock your phone and flash official recovery automatically) -> flash again by phone for full restore oem data partition.
After all the steps, you can fully go back to stock firmware.
Format system to clean it is optional.

Sorry but do not understand...
Correct steps : unlock your phone (unlock bootloader?) - flash recovery (install twrp?) - restore oeminfo ( flash oeminfo.zip by twrp?) - flash firmware by hisuite ( connect usb my phone to pc hisuite without your tool? ) - flash again by phone for full restore oem data partition ( what do i flash ? vodafone firmware by your tool?).

How to install stock recovery in Honor 4C Marshmallow?

Hi ! Everyone,
I want to remove TWRP and install stock EMUI recovery on my Honor 4C CHM-U01 .
I couldn't find stock EMUI recovery for Marshmallow 6.0 but could find for Kitkat 4.4 and Lollipop 5.1 versions.
Can someone here send me the link for - stock recovery for Marshmallow 6.0.
Or can i use the one from Lollipop version? Does it work?

Download the ROM with same build number as on you device, then unzip it and extract update.app using the Huawei updater app extractor and flash recovery.img through fastboot thus you get the stock EMUI recovery replacing TWRP.

I tried doing this and found 2 files --- Recovery.img and Recovery2.img inside the .app file. So, not sure what do i do here.
I also have several roms in dload folder and not sure about the version of the ROM inside. Could be B530 or B560. :cyclops:
Is there any tools to check the version of the ROM just from the update.app file.
In short, can you send me the recovery for B560 if you have one?

If you have previously Installed B530 use only recovery.img from update.app or if you have previously Installed B560 use only recovery.img
Currently I dont have B560 Files with me here is the link for B560 Full ROM

I extracted the recovery.img from the B560 update.app file and flashed it using adb.
I have now successfully replaced the TWRP with the stock EMUI recovery.
And finally reset the firmware to factory default so now problems i have been getting with Dialer not working and unable to change themes has been working fine.

Most probably flashing stock recovery from flashy won't work.

No, impossible. You must have permission and Mi account to unlock bootloader...

I have a redmi 5 note pro mei7s india that is stuck in recovery mode ( https://en.miui.com/thread-2910611-1-1.html ) and I would like to boot into twrp to clean some android cache (I don t want to lose user data)
the tool can see that I am in fastboot mode but it can t boot the phone into twrp and it doesn't recognize the phone ... I guess I need to install some drivers ?? thanks for your answers/help !

If you don't have a full stock rom on your phone and you lock your device you will brick it. So you need to have a full stock rom ( you can get the full stock rom here: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html and you can also flash it with this tool) and then you can lock the bootloader.
P.s. is not needed to write in all thread about the tool, one is enough i have instant notification mail enabled.

A) because i finally made a google account ( i didnt want to but thought i just remove it after downloading apps from the appstore )
or B) forgetting to RE-enable oem unlock option, after installing twrp and magisk ...
the frp lock began after i once went into download mode (but didnt flash anything , i wanted to go to twrp but pressed the wrong button so i ended up in download mode)
but it could also be the google lock .
anyways the phone doesnt start anymore so i cannot input my google account credentials .
DO I JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR 72 HOURS ?

I have a full twrp backup of everything on my sdcard , can this help me ?
I also know my google credentials and my phone number is registered.
MY QUESTIONS:

Your twrp backup should save you..... That happened most likely cause you flashed twrp without OEM unlocked set in developer settings

it happend because you have to wipe and after wiping the developer options are reset ... no tutorial specifically mentions to enable oem unlock again after rooting ...

You would have to flash stock rom in Odin then go threw the setup process go into developer settings activate the oem unlock twrp and then you should be fine...

If it's the one you was just using you should be good to go if it's an older one it could not work cuss bootloader locks after certain versions and you can only go up [emoji115]

HOLY **** ! it worked
i ONLY flashed AP btw (i installed twrp and magisk to AP ), i didnt flash the other files.
Then it installed
restartet
upgraded system
went into recovery
and then i had to just reboot .. the apps were prepared and istalled and everything is back to normal, just magisk, twrp and xposed are gone ...
NOW IS THERE A WAY TO COMPLETELY DISABLE FPR checking so this can never happen again ???

mods please put a [SOLVED] in the thread title ,
i think many people fail because BL=Bootloader cannot be flashed when frp bootloop is happening and they try to install all modules at once and then give up or go for unorthodox methods and hardbrick

How To Guide RUI 3.0 Easy Rooting Guide - On GT NEO 2

This thread going to guide you on how you can root Realme GT NEO 2 Device with RUI 3.0 installed.
This boot image is fresh, and it's patched for root access.
Caution: Before flashing, you need to have your bootloader unlocked, for bootloader unlocking, go to this link and follow the procedure to get approval and unlock your device bootloader.

After you get approval, you are ready to root your device!
For this tutorial, I gonna use a windows device.
​WARNING!​
I am not responsible for anything. proceed at your own risk. Rooting or Unlocking the Bootloader voids the device warranty, keep it in your mind.
STEP - ONE​
Only follow this step, if you get approval for the bootloader, and you didn't unlock this device or your flashing environment needs to be configured. You need to visit the following link to set up your environment for flashing a custom boot image.

STEP - TWO​​It's assumed that your environment is properly configured. Let's flash this boot image to root your device.
Download this zip file from here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xk1yBp5EDCZbl3i3jMtOhjfaVtTCQqYB/view?usp=sharing and copy the boot.img file to platform-tools folder.
Then open the terminal and cd to the platform-tools folder.
Then, shut down your device and hold the vol up + vol down + power button together to boot this device into fastboot mode.
First, you need to run

to check if your device is properly connected to the bootloader interface. If it shows something then your device is properly connected, If not, try to install the device driver, change the cable, or boot into the bootloader mode again.
If your device is connected properly, then you will see a screen like this:

- it is necessary to have the bootloader unlocked before flash (instructions on how to unlock the bootloader can be found in the video in the post above or here on the forum)
- after flash just install Magisk manager
no data loss, tested and functional

If your bootloader is already unlocked, no data loss. but If your device bootloader is not unlocked, then unlocking your device data will be erased.

You need not flash anything extra than flashing customized boot.img. Just simply follow this step and your device will be rooted.

Help...After flashing boot image and rebooted , Wifi is not scanning the networks and I am unable to take calls but 4g(internet) is working fine. Please reply me for any fix. I followed the exact steps you mentioned. My Device Realme Gt neo 2 UI 3.0

In my case, all is fine.
You can try backup data and then reset your device through recovery.

After the OTA update, you may need to flash this boot image again.

Thanks for the reply . Any way I reverted back to previous state by flashing stock boot image and firmeware. Now everthing works fine. I will think about rooting later..

Removed root and updated to RMX3370_11_C.04 is it safe to reflash root image on this version?

I just tried this and it worked for me...

Meanwhile I realised that my wifi and my phone don't work anymore... I have no idea if this boot image is the cause.

No solution so far. I think first everything was fine, after flashing the magisk boot image it's gone worse... But I'm not sure.

I do not recommend updating on RMX3370_11_C.0. After flashing boot image (without Magisk) wifi no longer working.

I flashed clean firmware and lock bl i am done moding this device only adb debloat.. And after clean flash netflix still wont open login screen...

It's global respectively EU. But I start from scratch yesterday. I flashed twrp, format data and flashed magisk. But other people need your patched boot image. Thanks for providing.
