Hi,
I'm currently using nk111's CM10 build, but the GApps are not working. I flashed this package: gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
After the first boot gmail was on my phone. I don't know if maps etc was on it too. But after some time I could not find gmail anymore.
Has anyone a suggestion for me?
Well the last time I checked there was no Gmail in the latest gapps package. Neither Maps. But you can download both from Google Play, so actually you do not have a problem

Ok that explains it But I can't find gmail in the play store. I live in Germany, maybe it's not available here?

I find the gmail app, if I browse the play store with my pc.
I think it's because of some license issues and google did not fix it.
Anyway now I have got my gmail back. Thanks guys

I think Gmail is named as Google Mail in Germany because of those license issues.
Yes, but I'm not able to install it nevertheless. I also can't find it using the Play Store app, but only with my pc browser.
I installed it using MarketEnabler.
try this... gapps will work...

install the small size of gapps file...

Hi all, i have installed on my desire hd taktik 4.4 and i don't know how to sync account(people contacts) from google account.
Also i can't understand how to install google play apk, i am tried it, but after downloading and installing it opens and closes after it suddenly..

Besides flashing the rom, you also need to flash GAPPS package (shown in the first post, under rom's link). That will install all needed google's components

Try a search in Google. I just did a search and a lot of apks showed up

Why you need this apk? R you rooted? If so I can shoot you my titabackup.zip an you can import to your phone ?
I ended up just restoring a backup.
Anyone has a clue, why in new wersion the google contact sync adapter app doesnt work after installing? I've downloaded google contact sync adapter version 7.1 from apk mirror, i gave them all app rights, but in google account i dont have contact sync option... Everything else is syncing...
I have the same problem. I even downgraded to stable version, but sync still doesn't work! Maybe someone with more knowledge will read this and find a solution

Try to install other version of contact sync, 7.1 is for nougat and you can have problims if you use this version in marshmallow

My android 4.0.4 tablet can't download apps from Google Play Store, "Error 491"
As title says, and sometimes, when opening the "Top Free Apps" on the Holo-styled Google Play Store that comes by default, it gives error df-dferh-01
It doesn't have Google Play Services installed, but it has Google Services Framework.
I tried installing some other app, and I can *download* the aditional file for Game Studio Tycoon 2, but when it tries to download the actual app, it gives the 491 error, I have 1.1GB free of space, so that isn't a problem. Also, Google Play services isn't installed, but I do have Google Services Framweork as a system app.
I installed Google Play Store 4.9.13 but it didn't help either.

Yes, I can, but I've tried installing future versions of Google Play Services/Google Services Framework/Google Play Store and they don't work/fix the problem. GPS takes longer to start, and sometimes makes the tablet reboot, GPStore doesn't open, and GSF doesn't do anything. I've factory resetted my tablet, it doesn't help either.

Original, I've never modified the tablet.
The Tablet I have is an "altron TAB DI-723" of brand "iNet", with board "crane" and device says "crane-inet", hardware is "sun4i" and platform is "exDroid", and product is "crane_inet"; I got this info from AIDA64, I got the apk from uptodown.

Hmmm...are you sure you downloaded the compatible playstore apk and comaptible google services to your phone?? However uninstall the google play services... then wait your phone download it automatically

I did a factory reset, so it has everything from what it came with, but thing is, it doesn't download anything, neither Google Play Services.

Dunno, I have internet, and I can access Google Play normally, but it says "Can't download [app] due to an error (491)" But I've tried every solution on the internet and I still can't fix it.
Closed - Found Solution.
Would have been to share the solution you found.
