Both mods are complementary, where this mod is for everything but Settings and the other is the Settings app only.

GenNxt's mod does NOT work with Samsung stock. It only works with GenNxt. If it worked, then this mod would've never seen the light of the day.

I have tested with G4. But I don't think there's a problem if using different builds, as long as they are 4.4.2

I attempted to use it without the deodex thing, so it did not work for me! Thanks for the tip anyway!
i dunno why but after i installed your addon all of my phony-related-apps all gone.. wipe dalvik and partitions, wipe all data and reinstall the addon, i've tried everything the phone-contacts-etc are not there.. help me..

This is because you have flashed some other mods into /system. Flash stock using Odin or restore a backup, then flash again. You can also dig into that /system/app and delete unused crap to save space, then reflash the mod. This happened because you don't have enough free ROM space, so the CWM installer did not copy the files (in your case, SecContacts.apk, SecTeleService.apk, and InCallUI.apk). For starters, you can remove S Voice and AllShare.

First of all, my phone is brand new 1 day old, i came from latest G8 firmware updated via OTA, rooted with your instructions in another thread, and flashed the zip file step by step and i did it carefully.. But after first boot all of my telephony app went missing.. Everything back to normal bcoz i flash stock rom..
UPDATE : i tried everything, reflash stock ROM - rerooting via CWM from your suggestion - reflash zip addon.. aaaaand it's gone..
NB : if i may add, could you please add dial app with dual sim support, in the screenshots the dial app seems only support single sim. thanks.

Your problem happened with me when I flashed this mod to a friend's Grand 2. This is because there's much junk in the ZIP. I fixed that, in addition to adding Note 3 Air Command. The update will be released tomorrow in the main post.
About the dialer, it does support Dual SIM, but I had only one SIM in the device when I took the snapshots.
And thanks for your effort. I'll notify you in PM when I upload the updated ZIP.

But in my GG2 the dialer app only show one call button eventhough i had 2 sims in my phone.. And could you separate those note 3 feature in different zip file? so several people wont suffer like i do.. Thanks..

I'm going to investigate this issue. I (and you) may have to wait till old Sam makes a new phone with the S5 UI (dialer+contacts) AND Dual SIM.
About separating the Note 3 features, that's a really god idea!
And, oui, monsieur, what do you mean by saying "S5 toggles"? Well, I got them, even in the old mod. Except if you mean something else.
P.S. Can't you keep changing SIMs from the widget or the Notification Panel as a temporary fix?

If this really does work well and has no issues as you say, you might be able to take it to MIUI's own forums as well as an unofficial build. They often incorporate those and make it available on their site with your nametag on it, too.

Its working for me? Are you seeing the message "Google app is currently unavailable"? If yes, then you need to change your adapter settings.

Alright so I flashed this rom.
There are three icons "settings", "tools" and "security" at the bottom of the first screen which are unresponsive to touch and even if you drag another icon over them it just overlaps. So the only way to access system settings is to drop down the notification area and tap settings there.

you can press home button and then move the app contact and phone and what ever, and then you can open those "settings", "tools" and "security"

No the icons themselves are unresponsive even for a long hold. What I did was pinch the home screen and tap the option for moving the icons. Once moved, they are responsive.
However, my biggest concern is over privacy of the rom. It seems that there are many functionalities in the rom which upload your device id or even folder names that you have got on your phone, to some unknown website. lol

Looks interesting -- especially interested in testing the different cameras as stock Lollipop has diminished the quality compared to 4.4. Any features on Note4 or S6 cameras not working?

I have not found any issues yet but i do not use my camera much at all, if you do come across any issues please let me know and i will add info to OP for others to enable them to decide what camera they want to use

i have just tested my bluetooth on a couple of different devices i have around and have connected to each of them no problems,
What kernel are you using??
Did you do a clean install or did you install over another rom?
The latest Arter 7.0.
I dirty flashed the ROM again and selected Lean kernel.
Bluetooth works fine now.

Just uploaded and add-on to the OTA app included within the latest 0.2.1 update
This add-on can be flashed through recovery and replaces the the SamsungSans.apk and add another 355 Fonts selectable through the main fonts menu

I'd like to start out by saying this is my first actual rom and without the push from @dazednconfused that i would still just be doing mods. With that said, here is my version of what I love in a rom! Heavily modified for performance and speed with black theming to help with battery. THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS AND WILL CONTINUE TO GET UPDATES AND ADJUSTMENTS. I am aware of some of the issues but they are minor and I will be working on fixing them over a few days time. The testers have done a great job at finding everything out for me. But I'm sure you want to see screenshots so I'll go ahead and drop those.

@srimay Yes and no. I can port it to T-Mobile and you can test it. I would just need you to pull some files from your phone for me so I can swap the files in the rom

What files do you need?
I may be able to help with that. I was curious because of where you had posted your thread, basically in the international section of rom development. And t mobile phones are compatible with the international roms

Finally a stable build of MIUI v8 based on Android Marshmallow(6.0.1) is now out! Thanks to the chinese dev(Heavenke) for porting it to our device. Unfortunately VoLTE isn't supported... But guys!! U-Touch is fully functional... It works just like it works on ZUI... So, enjoy MIUI~!!!!!

just install with twrp but i con't properly installed in twrp 3.0.2 i flashed with this rom using breadcast 2 version

I've said it stable because the rom can be used be used as a daily driver. And it's not having any major issues which may annoy users.
