Can someone please help me I think my phone is definetly broken now As seen in the screenshots it show the sdcard and storage folders. When I select the sdcard folder or the emulated folder neither of them show any files and my internal storage is corrupted and wiping internal storage won't help and none of the files I download from any browser show up in any file manager of mine and they sometimes appear rarely and then I try to move them and it says move or copy failed I am no noob at android I am a smart xda dev and I make my own ROMs for two other samsung devices. Never have I ever heard of an issue like this and doing a fastboot restore won't help either! If there is no fix for this then I might as well have to contact swappa as I have no idea what could of caused this as I am on stock latest ROM and only have root access. Oh and I have like only 2 apps installed right now BTW

I used this script(i can insert links PM me for the link),beware it's not perfect it's a recovery.img from a novel 7 device so buttons won't work, I used a USB keyboard 1=back 2=enter 3=up
If something fails you can always flash it back with livesuit, I just used CWM for partition format en deleting partitions.

Here is something from our russian friends. With this mod you can swap your internal & external memory (= SD card) to get more space for example apps to install.

Notice:
I tested this myself on a european non-lte phone (codename: k2_u) and it works. But as always bricks can happen and i am not responsible if your phone is dead afterwards.
Don't do this, if you are not experienced enough!
This files are for flashing in recovery.

How to install:
Make a Backup over recovery!
And make a backup of your data before you try.
Download the zip file wich is for your Android version, htc_one_sv_fstab_JB.zip for JB or htc_one_sv_fstab_ICS.zip for ICS from attachment and flash it in recovery.
If you wanna go back, flash the htc_one_sv_fstab_orig_JB.zip for JB or the htc_one_sv_fstab_orig_JB.zip for ICS in recovery.
We do not need to be S-OFF , do we??
Thanks
S-OFF is not needed. Maybe the russian kernel but you can try it first without.
is the data gonna be moved to the new location automagicly?
Mine was empty, so i can not say. I copied all to my PC to get sure to keep all data.
Make a backup before you try.

I looked into the zip and it probably wont do that.
Code:
dev_mount sdcard2 /storage/sdcard0/ext_sd emmc /devices/platform/msm_sdcc.1/mmc_host
dev_mount sdcard /storage/sdcard0 auto /devices/platform/msm_sdcc.3/mmc_host
thats whats in there.
so probably the way to go, i think, is to copy all the stuff from /storage/sdcard0 to /storage/sdcard0/ext_sd before flashing.
Or copy to pc and back afterwards.
Hi.
I translated this tuto on a french forum, and someone tried it with ICS, it's possible that it doesn't work... Anyone still on ICS here who could try it ?
On JB, no problem though.

He pm'ed me also, but as almost all people are on jb meanwhile, i don't think that there will be someone searching for a solution on ics.
And also as you know this mod is from another forum where it was downloaded. many times. I think, if it were faulty they had removed it.
swap
Hi, can it be done in stock recovery? i dont want to unlock or root it...
No.
Will this work on Boost mobile version running jb?

You can try. Stock files are the same.
Backup everything.
But i would change them manually, cause i don't know, if it flashes on the right partition for boost.
Edit:
Should also be flashable for you.
I'm a little scared I might brick my new jb install ..I should get the new working cwm installed first.

If you don't wanna flash:
First backup your data. Then you can copy the modded vold.fstab to a folder above and set the correct permission like the stock file has. Now copy it, go into the etc folder, rename the old file to vold.fstab.bak and copy immediately the modded one into the etc folder.
Then reboot and see whats happened.
Memory
Is it possible to repartition internal and external memory? I mean join external memory with internal and make sdcard as external memory?
Yep, just read what's after "if you wanna go back" in the 1st post.

Hello! I come from Taiwan, want to ask you, there is two-way recording or not?

FIRST You can flash a stockrom using Odin. Which region // carrier do you need? (Country or region and may be branding).
I can try find one for you. If a normal firmware update doesn't work THEN you can use a splitted firmware and choose re-partition when using Odin.
Already did I tell u full storey I have i9000 with internal storage damage as u can see in picture so what I did make partition on external sd card and install software on it through odin and it's working except camera it's showing disable usb storage before using camera so now condition is I want to format internal storage of phone so I can install OS ON PHONE rather then SD card
Odin refuses auf normal Flash? Have You tried auf Firmware with re-partition? What firmware do you flashed last? And have you siply tried to root/using custom recovery to format the storage?

Latest PhilZ CWM --> philz_touch_6.19.3-galaxysmtd.img which has some different options to format partitions.
You can easily flash it using "flashify" from the playstore. I suppose you are ROOTED <-!!!!!!!!!!

Mate it's bit complicated I have tried but it's not allowing me to change permission on vold.fstab
Please help... I have flashed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...eview-t2796003 with the recovery method and now I can´t see my files because the mobile sais that I don´t have SD Card. I tried this to solve it using this:
Got "No SDCard" error?
This is because 4.4.x seems to point to: storage/emulated/0 & L points to: data/media/0
Solution:
- Mount system in TWRP/CWM
- Wipe system, dalvik, data, cache
- Unmount system
- Install ROM
- Factory reset
- Reboot
- Go back to recovery & flash SuperSU (link above).
- Reboot
But doing that I only can see the folders, but when I enter in them it doesnt show any file
When I try to restore the nandroid backup that i make before install Android L I cant see the file on TWRP so I can´t restore it... How can I come back to KitKat?
It was mentioned on another thread but I don't remember by whom so can't give proper credit but from a terminal emulator on your phone run
su
storecon -r /data/media/0/*
See if that works

Ok, I get back to 4.4.4 by flashing again my ROM and once I did that, I could be able to see files on the KitKat storage, I moved the nandroid to the L storage and I restored it. But now I have the problem that now I have two different storages (The L´s one it´s the preset) How could I change the storage now? restorecon -r... What else?
