S2 plus(GT-I91059) cyclic redundancy error in mass storage mode - Samsung Galaxy S II Plus

So i just flashed android 5.1.1 on my galaxy s2 plus and everything was running smoothly until yesterday I started getting cyclic redundancy error in my mass storage mode (which was working fine since update until yesterday). I can however copy files from PC to sd or internal storage using MTP mode. I can even copy files within phone on both sd and internal storage. However whenever I switch to mass storage mode (Use a app USB mass storage enabler Also tried without using app from options) it shows the sd card but gives me cyclic redundancy error while copying and card is not seen on the device as soon as i unplug the cable(is original if u will suggest that) it is seen again. I aslo ran chkdsk but card shows no error.
I encountered the same problem a day before and after copying a few files in mtp mode the mass storage mode statred working again but not this time. Please help

Samsung i7500 - internal memory error

Hello,
I've got a big problem with my Galaxy. Yesterday I resetted phone to factory settings (wipe) and after that I formatted internal SD card from i7500's menu. Everything seemed to be OK, so I connected my phone to Windows (I wanted to transfer music). Transfer seemed to be succesful, so I plugged off the phone.
Phone was checking something with memory very long, so I rebooted it.
After that I can't get access to internal and external sd cards, they are unavailable in the phone's menu. I can't play music - there's a warning: "An error was encountered on your SD card". I can't also use options "mount" or "unmount" in phone's menu. Total space and other options in the same manu are unavailable.
When I connect i7500 with my computer, Windows recognizes it, but I have to insert disk when I try to access internal and external SD card... There's no "select to copy files..." notification on phone screen... I don't know why.
I also tried to connect with "mass storage only" box checked with no results.
USB debugging mode wasn't succesful too, because Windows asks me for drivers (standard i7500 x64 drivers don't work, I'm running Vista).
My Android version is 1.6, previous owner changed software...
What can I do to solve my problem?
Sorry for my bad English.
Greetings from Poland,
Jacek

[Q] Internal SD Card as Mass Storage Device Problems

I'm having a problem connecting my device to a computer as Mass Storage. It was working fine for a while until it got unintentionally unplugged while I was connected via ADB as root. The device will connect fine as a Media Device (MTP), but when Mass Storage is selected the drive letter comes up but is greyed out (how it looks when you have a corrupted usb drive). Prior to the problem you would get the internal sdcard partition. I'm also having a problem with Samba Fileshareing bombing out temporarily before enabling wifi sharing, but if I click "wait" on error screen Samba finally starts sharing. None of this behavior was present while the mass storage was connecting properly.
I have no external SD Card installed, I'm rooted, I've applied the 6MB OTA update and have all the latest moto drivers on my computer.
I tried fixing this problem by first doing a factory reset (no luck) then I fastbooted back to the stock image and reapplied everything. None of that fixed the issue.
I think the device is having a hard time unmounting the internal sd card partition? I'm not sure what's going on and I've searched to the end of Google. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

[Q] USB storage is not recognized by my nexus s

Yesterday I tried to partition my internal storage using minitool because I was getting a insufficient memory message from the google app store. Everything worked out fine and the partition had been created, I turned usb storage off and when I went to pull the usb cord from my nexus s I got a message saying that my internal sd card had been damaged and asked me to reformat. I dismissed the error message because I did not want to format right there but after that my phone can't detect my usb storage (16gb internal) and neither can I connect to my computer and access the files on my phone. I'm using paranoidandroid 3.00. Even when my Android debugging is on the phone still can't connect to my computer. And I've tried to unmount and mount using cwm a number of times but that isn't working either. I also tried to factory reset the phone but I still can't detect my usb storage. My phone basically says I have 0.98gb total space. I have no access to my internal storage at all. I can't flash any different roms or flash anything for that matter. My photo gallery is also saying that I have no external storage available. I need to fix this ASAP. What can I do to fix this problem?
Similar problem
I'm having a similar problem. Switched to a different phone and gave my wife NS4G, so I wiped everything, including the external storage via TWRP v2.4. No problem connecting to my PC, but on the phone in settings>storage, there was only 0.98 in Internal Storage and 2GB in USB Storage. No clue what could've caused that. Currently searching the web for answers, and will report back if I come across anything

I fixed the problem using Wugs Root Toolkit. I didn't want to just sit around and wait till a different fix just magically appeared. Basically just had to flash back to stock Jelly Bean 4.1.2 using the toolkit and unroot the device and then do a factory reset. The SD card got formatted after doing all that. You should try it out. :good:

Usb problem

Hi everybody... i have a problem with my moto g. I was just deleting some files on the internal storage via USB when the process stopped working and crashed. Then i disconnected the USB cable and reconnected and everything on the mass storage disappeared, only Android Whatsapp and some other system folder are recreated but empty. If i check on "my computer" it say that i have 7GB occuped on my internal storage that i can't see!!! neither with a file explorer like root explorer i can see my files. this thing isn't the first time that happen to my device and it's quite annoying... my questions are: anybody else had the same problem in the past?? if yes, how did it solved?? the occupied space on internal storage by what is occupied??? i'm mounting official CM12
up!!
Might consider mounting storage via ADB and using a recovery tool. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2843152

MSC Massstorage Mode doesn't work?

Hey,
I got the Problem that MSC mode for USB options doesn't work for me. It shows a blank icon in Windows and tells to insert drive.
I'm using a 128GB SanDisk microsd card if that could be the fault..
Thanks in advance for any help

Still having the Problem and it's rather annoying
Today i reflashed from LinOS15 back to 6.0.1 and on first connect, Windows installed driver and showed the device correctly n Mass Storage Mode.
Now after restoring apps etc. it again shows a blank sdcard in Windows explorer. Does really nobody know what could cause this or how to fix this ?
So i figured out it's the priv-app "enhancedusbux" which broke USB MSC (Mass storage Mode).
After restoring, USB Mass Storage mode is working again.
Maybe it helps someone
