Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Marshmallow has a few options when it comes to MicroSD storage. If the most fundamental does not work (and the new options - such as extend storage to MicroSD - are not for you), you can investigate your two options.
This can be done by adding a post to this thread:
> Moto G 2015 > Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [FAQ] Frequently Asked Questions for the Motorola Moto G 2015 [Initial: 28/11/15]
Please note...to post there, you will need to have an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

[Completed] [Q] Kitkat 4.4.2: Swap Internal memory to External Memory

Hi Gurus,
I have installed a custom Rom Andriod Kitkat 4.4.2 on my Micromax canvas hd (A116) device which has only 1 gb of internal memory for apps.
I would like to swap the internal memory with my external SD card as it became too hard to manage the space . I'm able to move some apps data to the external storage but this is not even.
I have gone through multiple forums and followed their steps and nothing worked really in the Kitkat version.
Also I have tried the link2sd app as well. Even this one didn't work.
Can some one help me on this issue.
Regards,
Naveen
