Hi.
I want to stop all notifications, between the hours of 11:30pm and 7:30am, but I still need to know if my phone rings or I get a text message.
I want this to all happen automatically every day.
Thanks.

I don't have a land line & leave my phone charging on my headboard at night. My wife has gotten really ticked at it vibrating & making noise whenever it gets an E-mail in the middle of the night.
Is there an easy way to mute everything but the normal phone ringer (still want to get calls in the middle of the night if they come in)? I don't want to mute the phone entirely, as I could miss emergency calls. I'd love to have it quiet everything at a certain time, or at the push of a button, or by running an app or something easy.
The wife is currently threatening to fling my phone out the window if it wakes her up again, & I don't want to disable the sound/vibrate entirely as it wouldn't be effective during the day.

a couple options...
Change Activesync to use off-peak times and set email delivery as manual so that you have to tell it to check for mail during off-peak times. Then you will only get sounds emergency calls, drunk dials, emergency texts, and drunk texts in the middle of the night. This also assumes you don't have any reminders set to sound at midnight...
Use a profile app like G-Profile or PhoneAlarm to control advanced automatic switching of profiles/sounds/notifications based on time of day and day of week or other advanced switching options.
the version of htc volume overlay i have lets me turn the volume down on system all the way while keeping the ringer one up.
I've had my phone for almost two years now, and I've never been able to get sound notifications for messages, emails, or anything else during my calls. I've made sure my "Alerts on call" is checked and still nothing... I didn't see any other threads with this problem--only ones that wanted to disable this function. Why is mine so special?

I don't recall actually ever hearing notifications while on a call. I just made a phone call and while on that call, I sent a couple gmails to myself, had an alarm go off, and received an update from a sports app but I only receive vibration or silent alerts. The alarm goes off however its vibrating only unless I am off of the call.
I just got a Motorola Droid Ultra XT1080. When it was first set up my phone rang with each incoming call. Then all of the sudden (something I did, I am sure) it started announcing when I got an income text, a feature I didn't want. I played around with it and somehow I got it to stop doing that! HOWEVER, now my incoming calls don't ring at all. I get audible notification when I get a voicemail message, receive texts, facebook and email notifications, etc. I have checked my settings and the volume is turned up, ringtone selected and such. Also, if I call my number from another phone it goes straight to voicemail and (as the caller) there is no ringing - just voicemail immediately.
Can anyone give me advice/input on why my phone no longer rings with an incoming call and why every call goes straight to voicemail???
Thanks!
Sara
When I was CM11 while I was on phone, when apps get notifications, phone vibrated. Now with marshmallow on Nexus 5 doesn't vibrate. This function is useful to me while I'm on call, because it allows me to see if I'm getting another call when busy as I receive sms alert. How can I do to reactivate this?

Is there a simple way to keep my phone quiet when at work, but allow vibrate or soft sound when my wife texts me?
